Hi Virgina, not yet. I plan to make a video covering all the aftermarket parts I used as a review and "how to". However they are fairly easy to fit, front 3 bolt straight into the OEM location. Rear 2 have a threaded bar and tube, so the bar goes into the head and the tube bolts over it and then the bolts go into the tube.

Hi, I did not use a primer, the surface on these covers are very rough making it easy for the paint to stick, it's holding up great, however it does chip if abused, I had to use a screw driver to remove my cam cover and there is a few small chips on the edges now from that, but under normal circumstances it should hold up just fine for a few years
Hi Precision Skate, the paint I used is heat resistant or "engine block paint" as the can say. but yes I will give an update on how it holds up with the heat and oil.
Hi Bryan, I just cleaned the inside very well using "Brake & Parts cleaner" letting it soak. I won't recommend getting paint on the inside as it may come off and go into your oil
@@RisingBoostYTi just reviewed the video footage and you're absolutely right, the angle you had it at made it look way darker on the inside of the valve cover. Yeah im fully aware your not supposed to paint the inside lol but again it looked like it thats why i asked i was really stunned for a minute

I don't understand what was the point in doing double the work when you could have taped off the Honda part when you initially sanded it, instead of using primer then painting then sand again... Could've also just used a air compressor and dremel w/ 3m rulock wheels instead of using that chemical peel you used which only stained the aluminum and left it with that dark tint
Yes taping it off is an option, but does take some skill to get perfect, I did the sanding to get a uniform silver colour over the letters, gets rid of the corrosion. I would however say that clear coating should be done after sanding off the letters, not like I did it. I had the paint stripper so decided to use it.
Hi WI, In my case the paint stripper evaporates rapidly, once it leaves the container it must be used immediately or it becomes thick, it may work with the newer more strictly regulated paint stripper though.

Hi, I used a plastic bristle brush, but I guess the small steel brush won't damage it as the surface is already fairly rough.

What is the number of sandpaper did u use?
Hi Aldrich, I used 360 to start, 600 next and then a red 3M scuff pad. To get the honda letters sanded clean, I used 80 grit.
