    God bless you man, I've been looking for a proper video for some time now and was surprised no one made it.
    While everyone in this niche is trying to sell courses (that still don't teach this basic thing) and make money off people, you're the first to destroy the gate keeper's gate.
    Would love to see if you can do a tutorial on advanced gimbal techniques.

    Nice! You can speed ramp between two clips using the range selection tool. Then you don’t need to retime both clips separately. 👍🏻

      Not with the free ones. If you buy the pack you can get them designated for horizontal and vertical. I don't find you really need it for vertical

    Great video, quick question when using the 20X what quality do you use, I have noticed there are a number of options, Fast (Floor), Fast (Nearest Frame), Good (Frame Blending), Better (Optical Flow) and Best (Machine Learning). I have just left it on the default Fast Floor but interested to know what you use?

    Need some help. I finally was able to install the transition plug ins but now when I drag and drop them on the timeline it tries to add them to the clip, instead of making it over the top like in your video (or like an adjustment layer in premier pro). How can I get them to drag and drop on the timeline as an adjustment layer vs over the clips?
    Thank you thank you in advance.

    Do you stabilize your clips using gyroflow or final cut stabilizer? I usually walk backwards to get a smoother shot but I still sometimes get a little shake when speeding up and slowing down my clips. It's more noticeable on my 27 inch monitor in full screen. I use DJI RS4 with a Sony ZVE1, lens is a 14 mm GM which doesn't have built in IS. I have the in camera stabilization set to "Standard". Your shots seem super smooth, maybe you're just a master at the ninja walk? :)

    • @James_Bottomley
      @James_Bottomley  3 місяці тому +1

      I probably need stabilization only 10-20% of the time and it's just the final cut stabilizer. I've practiced my ninja walk relentlessly to allow myself not to worry about trying to fix it in post
