God bless you man, I've been looking for a proper video for some time now and was surprised no one made it. While everyone in this niche is trying to sell courses (that still don't teach this basic thing) and make money off people, you're the first to destroy the gate keeper's gate. Would love to see if you can do a tutorial on advanced gimbal techniques.
Looks great, I've never seen the little zoom sauce secret before. Is there a way to get the zoom 2 to work in vertical video? I just tried it and am having edge of frame revealing black issue
Great video, quick question when using the 20X what quality do you use, I have noticed there are a number of options, Fast (Floor), Fast (Nearest Frame), Good (Frame Blending), Better (Optical Flow) and Best (Machine Learning). I have just left it on the default Fast Floor but interested to know what you use?
Friend, you explain incredible, please do a tutorial for Davinci, I was confused on the other channel, you explain much better, and the shake effect when you go to the drone, how do you do it?
Great video James! I've downloaded both of those effects from Ryan Nangle, but for whatever reason the Free Smooth Zooms 2.0 will not show up in FCP even tho they're in the same titles folder as the Motion Blur effect. Any work around for this?? other videos have not helped solve
I don't use Premiere Pro so I will not be making a tutorial. I used to try speed ramps in Premiere but it never looked anywhere close to what can be done in FCPX
Need some help. I finally was able to install the transition plug ins but now when I drag and drop them on the timeline it tries to add them to the clip, instead of making it over the top like in your video (or like an adjustment layer in premier pro). How can I get them to drag and drop on the timeline as an adjustment layer vs over the clips? Thank you thank you in advance.
awesome vid dude! is there a reason i cant "smooth out" my speed changes? seems like i dont have those brown sliders almost like the speeds are connected to the clip? let me know how i can fix this!
When downloading the Zooms, It only lets me put them in transitions and not titles. Do you have a workaround for this? Other then that, Killer video and something ive wanted to do but couldn't make it look this good
Can someone please answer this, if I use my blade tool and cut my footage I then lose the ability above the cut to edit the speed. I don’t see a grey bar to be able to smooth of the ramp. Any help is appreciated
@James_Bottomley thank you so much for your reply I just starting out to do real estate video for my mom who's an property agent too Your videos has helped alot
Do you stabilize your clips using gyroflow or final cut stabilizer? I usually walk backwards to get a smoother shot but I still sometimes get a little shake when speeding up and slowing down my clips. It's more noticeable on my 27 inch monitor in full screen. I use DJI RS4 with a Sony ZVE1, lens is a 14 mm GM which doesn't have built in IS. I have the in camera stabilization set to "Standard". Your shots seem super smooth, maybe you're just a master at the ninja walk? :)
I probably need stabilization only 10-20% of the time and it's just the final cut stabilizer. I've practiced my ninja walk relentlessly to allow myself not to worry about trying to fix it in post
WHY DO YOU GUYS make 'valuable' thing so complicated, YOU know whats the ratio of users MAC & Windows, every one is waiting this best TUT's for Premiere & Resolve ... hope u got my point !!!!
Fire bro!
Please do a camera settings breakdown and gimbal tutorial! Would love to see your moves and how you achieve all of this
100% will do!
Yes please, that would be super helpful
third,this

Awesome tutorial thanks man!
Nice! You can speed ramp between two clips using the range selection tool. Then you don’t need to retime both clips separately. 👍🏻
Love it! Kept it real simple!
you did a fantastic job, thanks for sharing!
Great work man. Keep making FCPX tutorials!
Amazing, James. Thanks for sharing!
Hi James, this is a fab video! You made fancy things easy to achieve! You are a true pro! Looking forward to see more editing tutorials from you!
Thanks for all this value! Love your videos and how well you explain things
awesome stuff man
Such a great tut! Great work bro
Would the zoom out plugins by nangle work well?
I'm stoked you got some value out of it! Thanks for watching!
yes they would!
very helpful
Really great tutorials! Thanks for sharing this great info.
To the point and precise, thank you!
Very helpful, thank you for these!
so glad this helped!
That's sick!!! I was searching how to do this "speed ramp" transition!!! Do you know if it's possible to use PREMIERE PRO to do it??
Awesome James! Thank you so much!
Great tutorial. Thanks James!
Looks great, I've never seen the little zoom sauce secret before. Is there a way to get the zoom 2 to work in vertical video? I just tried it and am having edge of frame revealing black issue
Not with the free ones. If you buy the pack you can get them designated for horizontal and vertical. I don't find you really need it for vertical
do you also have download presets for Premiere pro?
no I don't. I exclusively edit on final cut pro
Someone actually helpful thanks man
glad I could help
Great job! just what I was looking for. Keep it up! Subbed!
stabilization is really good
what is your mac?

thanks for watching! I hope this was valuable to you!
Nicely done!!
Great video! Can you make a tutorial on how to shoot and edit a day to night transition?
Absolutely!
nice one thank you... 💎

Same. Did you ever figure it out?
SO niceee crack !!! thank you
Hey bro, can i use it in premiere pro? Did you make a video about it. If not please do make one. Thanks
Unfortunately PP is super 💩💩💩...😂😅😂

Very informative stuff
I appreciate you brotha!
Dope 🔥🔥🔥
Let’s go. Thanks brother
Boom! Time to level up!
Among bro Thank you so much 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What are your thoughts on CapCut?
I've never used it but it looks like a great beginner software
awesome vid dude! is there a reason i cant "smooth out" my speed changes? seems like i dont have those brown sliders almost like the speeds are connected to the clip? let me know how i can fix this!
make sure you rewatch from 2:40-4:00 for the explanation. Use command+R to access the time remapping feature
Thankyou very much bro!!
I got you!
Let me ask you something in your opinion which one is easy, for me a speed ramp davinchi ir final cut
I've never used DaVinci but I know some people who do and from what I've seen and heard, final cut is simpler for speed ramps
@James_Bottomley thank you so much , how satisfy are you doing the color grading using final cut?
it's great!
@@James_Bottomley thanks

Is there anywhere to get the zoom effect for Premiere?
not this exact one but i'm sure you can find smooth zoom effects and transitions for premiere somewhere
When downloading the Zooms, It only lets me put them in transitions and not titles. Do you have a workaround for this? Other then that, Killer video and something ive wanted to do but couldn't make it look this good
Did you download the zooms for titles or the ones for zooms, there are two different ones and the titles works the best
Can someone please answer this, if I use my blade tool and cut my footage I then lose the ability above the cut to edit the speed. I don’t see a grey bar to be able to smooth of the ramp. Any help is appreciated
Hit command R to open the retime editor. It will come back
How can i do this with premiere pro? Cuz im using windows
you won't be able to get the same result in premiere pro but you can still do basic speed ramps
@James_Bottomley thank you so much for your reply
I just starting out to do real estate video for my mom who's an property agent too
Your videos has helped alot
Futuro avenue will be looking for you for posting this 😂😂
Can you replicate this in CAPCUT for PC? Because Final Cut doesn't run on Windows, if you could do the same speed on Capcut it would be cool.
I have no idea, I've never tried. You'll have to try!
Your video came out right when I needed it but I'm not able to install these plugins in FCP, they just don't show up :(
make sure you watch the tutorials on how to install them! if they are not showing up you are doing something incorrectly
@@James_Bottomley I installed them finally but I don't see any Zoom 1 and Zoom 2 in the links you provided

@@James_Bottomley You do an awesome job! Crazy smooth.
25 or 30 fps?
I shoot 60fps and edit on 24fps timeline
Why? Export 24fps?
👏👏👏
thanks for watching!
