I would love knowing how you did the edits because that is my biggest problem either getting this detail myself or finding an editor that can do it. I strive for this level one day .
Great video James, thanks for sharing these tips - especially the one with shooting in tighter spaces! Vid came out great overall. TUTORIAL NEEDED ON THOSE TRANSITIONS BECAUSE WOWWWW
hey man i really loved that final shot and the tips! right now i only use my Samsung galaxy S22 Ultra which have a really awesome camera but i wanted to know if theres any good stick that i can buy for it thats like the DJI RS3 Pro but cheaper? if anyone have some suggestions let me know! thanks!
James great video overall. I have some feedback to help make the next one even better. 1. Music when you’re talking is a little distracting, maybe turn volume down just a bit when talking. 2. When he was filming you getting the front exterior shot he didn’t get your feet in the shot which would’ve been helpful. 3. You didn’t mention any camera settings, especially autofocus. I know you’ve mentioned that in previous videos but new viewers likely haven’t seen those yet. 4. Would’ve loved to see you cover the FPV shot in the final finished video.(The one shot in the kitchen.) 5. Cover the Parallax shot you did showing the kitchen. Hope this helps from a learning prospective. 🙏
amazing video dude! just getting into real estate content. Would love a video of your gimbal settings. I find it hard to get that steady smooth curve shot. You cooked on the edit!
Thank you this was great. Maybe I missed it but did you mention lens filter to get the window pulls or some trick in editing to get that? Also your smooth gimbal settings would be nice. Mine still bounce a little
That was so awesome. The Final video with the Music was just WOW. WELL DONE BRO (the style is awesome). How Much for that exact setup with these two lenses. My Wife has a Dance / Cheerleading & Dance Club - so I need a nice setup for basically this work - Moving around Ninja style, making cool videos of the choreographs', Musical's, Europeans, ect and of course training sessions - combined with Photos of course. And as well I could start Making such videos like these to earn some money in my country. Greetings from Croatia
Hi James, you are amazing. Would you be able to do a tutorial on how to do orbit shots on 70mm or zoom length such as 85mm? I find it the hardest. Much appreciated!
This is great! would love to see one with how you do it when there is an agent involved if you ever do one where agents watk and talk through the house. kind of like you did for the disappearing agent video you did..
Hello, first of all, I watched your video with full focus until the end. You are great ! I wish I was as skilled and talented as you! I would love to be able to shoot architectural videos like this. I have all the equipment. Lumix S5IIx / 24-70 / 16-35 / Laowa 10mm DJI RS 4 Pro but I cannot succeed in video. I'm so tired of this situation. If I could, I'd be in a great place career-wise. Something always goes wrong...
Did you have to eliminate any of the ninja walking bobbing post production or is it just that smooth because you profected that walk? If yes to post production work, any tips on that?
Excellent video James as always! One question... Is the final edited video you show the one you give to the agency? Or do you do another type of editing for them and keep it for yourself to show on your social networks?
Hi Buddy, great work, If you don't mind, please share your gimbal and cameras settings. I use the RS3 and R6 Mk2 and same lens, but struggle to get this quality of content. I get these micro jitters in my shots, not sure if my gimbal settings is to blame. greetings from Calgary, Alberta. Thanks
Could you share what gimbal settings you had on for pan, tilt etc (the speed) and did you use super smooth setting on the RS3 Pro? Also do you shoot with IS on the camera when using a gimbal?
I always use use manual exposure. That way I can have complete control over my image even when the lighting is changing. Sometimes I use an vnd filter but it depends on the lighting and scenario
Hi James, I live in Brazil and I think your content is incredible! The types of sales and marketing videos in the real estate market are different from here, I'm thinking about starting to adapt this type of content to Brazil! Do you have a course or could you demonstrate your movements when recording so I can have an idea or notion of the movements, and record the editing process too?
Great video, I assume you are using manual focus for these? Is there a good trick for walking in a straight line for the ramp, I never seem to get them dead straight and when they are off you can really see it!
@@James_Bottomley ok wow very surprised you use AF, I can't trust my camera to do that, would be interested to see your AF setting in another video, I guessing your using some kind of zone focus?
Nice! Real estate photographer from Sweden here. Just a quick question, I see that you turn on and off the recording on the camera. Doesn´t the gimbal have a button for this? I´m using the Zhiyun Crane 4 and unfortunately it doesn´t work well with the R6 MK2 because the Rec button will instead activate auto focus on the camera. Another quick question, do you get fatigued easily doing this? I do. The Crane with accessories weigh 2,2 kilos, I think yours weigh 1,5. Wondering if it does a lot of difference or if I´m just weak :P
Go with the native ISO and follow 180 degree shutter rule, that is if you're shooting at 60 fps (which I'd recommend because you'll need to speed ramp) ( is you live in NTSC Country) 50 fps (if you live in PAL country) double the shutter speed that'd be 1/120 at 60 fps and 1/100 at 50 fps as for aperture f4 and f5.6 are great for real estate wide shots and for the detailed ones you can go f2.8 if you need more depth
Great Video! Funny Thing is... Talking about the ninja walk but the Video is filmed by a ronin 4d - which makes ninjawalks obsolete. So why just not use the Ronin 4D? Cheers
This video was filmed on a R4D but I do not use one. Ninja walk is still important even with that camera. There are many reasons I don't use it, the main one being it doesn't shoot vertical and a few technical things. and price lol
buddy, what is the best fps for making the video smooth and zoom transition will also work smoothly? currently using 60fps but feels little shaky in FCP
Great video and tips! Just have a couple of questions if I may; 1. You forgot one important thing to mention, what are your camera and gimbal settings? 2. If you can share how you edit this video it would be so good! To understand how you did the speed ramps transitions, how you duck or do the effect when you low down the music, and also the transition you did with the wall art to the next shot 👌 Thanks so much for sharing your tips!
Great video, thanks for the info! Oddly enough, you're gimbal walk has been the most useful part of your video for me!
I DID NOT expect the edit to be that good. Insane content lot's of solid information / recommendations!
Haha thanks! I'm glad you found this valuable!

Awesome video man! Just found your channel, had to sub! :)
Yoo thank for being here!
Dope af man. Didnt knw i can learn so much in 1 video.. Done subs

For phone you can use DJI Osmo Mobile 6
Damn, the example shots were already fire but seeing that final edit was fire fire. Thanks for making the video!
Nicely done, you got a new sub bro. This video was everything I was looking for. I’m looking to get more into real estate videography this year
Epic shots my man, and the smoothest edits! But I will say what low key stood out was the sound fx, love it
I love adding lots of sound design! Most people don't notice ;)
Great video. I was just missing my detail shots to really make my videos stand out, thanks for the tips!
Tips on video settings and transitions?
I didn’t even skip the ads. You deserve all the coins for this video bro! ✊🏽
Ayyy haha you're a legend
Fantastic shots.
That Ronin 4D footage is so damn smooth. Do you ever film properties with it?
Also, great video!
Appreciate you taking the time to pass on the knowledge 🔥

Just dropped a new video about my RS3 Pro including my settings. You can check that out!

Great video. what do you use for post?
Hey loved your videos! Just wondering how did you get to use the music for this property edit?
Love the videos bro. Such a nice property for there to be a van with a spare tire in the neighbor's driveway!! lol that was driving me crazy!
Haha unfortunately nothing I can do about that
@ I hear ya there! Perks of the job, right!
Great video I definitely enjoyed it.
Love this BTS and thinking behind each shot. What song did you use for the final edit? It's FIIIIIIIIRE! 🔥
Thank you this was great. Maybe I missed it but did you mention lens filter to get the window pulls or some trick in editing to get that?

No filter and no tricks. Just a slightly higher aperture around f4.5. Gimbal settings are coming this week!

Thank a lot for video. What camera settings are you using to be always in focus. 4K 60fps, Aperture f4.5, 15mm, what focus area are you using?
thank you, can you break down the camera settings for this video shoot ?
Man this was clean
How do you get such sharp details out of the window as well?
What aperture were you on for the details?
Wondering the same thing because he had that nice clean outdoor window shots while being inside.

Is there a particular lut/colour grade you use?
I’ve developed my own look. Would you be interested in a lut?

99.9% of the time I use auto focus
Imma need a breakdown of the tv and the shake transitions 😮
I second this! The transitions added a subtle unexpected flare.
What focus settings are you using for these shots? Auto focus? Manual focus? And if manual focus what do you focus on?
I use zone auto focus

did you use LOG file? or just original color from camera body ?
I always shoot in clog 3 then colour graded
@ i saw your latest video bro , nice tips
2:24 Does anybody know what's the ideal RS3 setting to get this slow non-shaking panning shot?
What do you think
Of using dji action 5 pro as real estate video?
I would probably go with either the pocket 3 or your phone and a mobile stabilizer. Action cams get warping on the edges
what we really want to see is how you edit your videos for the final result.
yes, those transitions were CRAZYYY
Do you use ND filters?
Sometimes but not usually. Depends on the scenario and lighting
Fire
Thanks for watching!

Hi, I have a question, what level of zebras do you use for your real estate videos?
I don't use zebras. I'll be making a complete video on settings very soon!
What aperature are you at though?
interiors between f2.8 and f5.6 exteriors at f8 cuz I didn't use an ND filter
The shots from your camera's perspective would have been SOO much better full screen and without your buddy in the shot getting in the way.
