Sounds like the DA was scared to bring the case to trial. Just because there is no body? You have His sons testifying that they heard their dad shoot Tammy. Then you have the dash cam video of Grier confessing to killing Tammy and his brother also heard the same story. Sounds like a very good circumstantial case against Grier.

The justice system failed Tammy & her loved ones from the start. They had a murderer in custody who was released after he admitted to killing Tammy. In his home they found bullet holes & blood spatter and he was allowed to walk free. Then after multiple years of searching for him they finally find him in Mexico. And he's offered a plea deal? All that evidence and 17 years of searching at the tax payers expense they offer a plea deal of a lesser charge of manslaughter if he tells them where Tammy's remain are & he agrees. Yet they still cannot locate her remains & the plea deal is still honored. WTF is wrong with our judicial system is a HUGE understatement in this case & so many more.
Science & technology may produce many effective advancements as time passes, but until our judicial system gets a complete overhaul all we can look forward to is more of the same. A system that seemingly operates in favor of criminals as the priority & of victims as nothing more than an after thought.

The murderer went to his sister where he confessed to doing something horrible and she gave him money to start a new life, but she didn't call the police. He confessed to his half brother who took him to a truck stop and dropped him off but didn't call the police. He left his two sons behind who went for holiday visit with their mother and they kept quiet for 11 days before speaking up when they found out she was taking them back to him. The mother did the right thing by taking them to the police and I can only imagine what these children witnessed and the threats they received. I hope they received counseling. Then the plea deal that never should have happened. I admire the tenacity of the victim's daughter and the marshalls. The remaining law and legal system let that entire family down.

She's spent so much time, already, it would be a waste of all that time, to stop. She would probably feel like she's given up on her mom, if she did. Her kids would see that, too. And he would win, in a sense.

I lived in Houston for thirty years. Injustice was rampant. The city is too political and people will anything to stay in power.

Anyone who is a “regular” at a strip club is not to be trusted. I wouldn’t want to be in the same room with them. Those deputies who let him go are also implicit. Disgusting. I have never heard of so much police bungling in my life!

      Hi
It is easy to feel that way but life can really be difficult when we are called to make decisions that takes a tremendous amount of life experience to make. I so don’t agree with some of her decisions as a retired missionary but I was not in her shoes.
I believe that there is not a sin anyone of us would not commit if the circumstances were set up in the wrong way against us

When someone says they looked in her eyes and watched her die and that was the hardest thing ever I think we should believe them.

The most important aspect of this is that the deputies were aware of his actions and went as far as identifying him as being on meth.
He is half naked, hiding in a pile of brush, smoking like a man who can’t breathe w/o tar in his lungs and confessed to the crime of looking into her eyes and watching her die!
Deputy’s need to be held accountable for key points!
    1. Suspicious activity (truck running and sitting in a strange spot)
    2. Bizarre behavior (jittery-smoking-nonchalant attitude)
    3. CONFESSION (TELLING THE DEPUTY OF THE CRIME)
How do we make any sense of this case?

You mean where she did the highest paying work for women who have no credentialed skills? Where her husband's company had NO INSURANCE so that the family was desperate? You mean how she was lied to and coerced? Financial stress, three kids, and she made a choice. Don't judge her choices because you're not entirely sure how you'd act in her place

@@HLBear this woman left her husband at the first opportunity, exaching him and their family for wealth and well-being. The victims daughter speak about this openly. And it's disgusting, no matter how you look at it. Of course she didn't deserve death under any circumstances but such behavior should be condemned.

I've kept track of this case over the years because of America's Most Wanted and it was incredible to hear from the daughter and details of Greer's life on rhe run. But damn, the lack of justice after all these years is incredibly disappointing.
