I am a Nigerian and a Nigerian man did the same to me 😢. They don't care if you are from the same country as them, all they want is to get their documents and everything you can offer and get to the next woman. The lesson here is, do not build a man up, it never ends well. They have to do the work. The heartbreak 💔 is beyond words explainable. because is not just the money and time but your heart, feelings. Realiseing that all the time you thought he loves you, you were being use. It hurts real bad.

I know a Nigerian girl that did the same thing a another Nigerian man. She was in States for her Masters wanted to stay married another Nigerian American, got her green card and moved out of their house and never came back.

A very messy story. It looks like Seth used Sheila as a come up, moved on to the next woman, and Sheila couldn't let it go. And poor Eunice got caught up in the crossfire. Terrible.

This community is about 10 minutes from my home. The community is beautiful in person. It's an all Black community where it's nothing but extremely successful Black families live there. This is such a sad story

This was so unfortunant to lose any one's life over. I live in this area and so shocked. PG County is THE MOST affluent Black county in the nation.
I saw this episode on Crime Watch Daily. It's a good episode but sad that Seth and Eunice died so violently RIP🙏
Lesson number 1, finished any unfinished business before bringing another into the picture. He should have waited for the divorce then sell the house then moved on with their lives. Nothing is worth your life. Everyone loses including the innocent child that did not have the chance to come into the world.

Shelia married a foreign guy who was 10 years younger, which is a gamble. By 2009, Seth was 40 and Eunice 36, and they were having a child. Sheila was 50 and past the age of having kids. I'm sure this added to her rage.

At 50 years old Sheila could have had a child but set did not want a child from Sheila. Seth was in love with Eunice before Sheila I believe, he took the opportunity to marry Sheila for his gain and when he get what he wants he dumped Sheila because now she is too old for him. That is what these African men do. Sheila got betrayed and felt terribly hurt. That was the end of it all.
I woulda been scared to be roaming around some other woman’s mansion with her husband. Eunice was bold bold. I wouldn’t be able to sleep welll there. I wouidve been watching my back for exactly this reason.

I see your point but for many Africans, the traditional African marriage is considered the most important even more important than state/legal/church marriage. So it is likely that the male victims had traditionally married then divorced his estranged wife and considered the marriage over. He had also likely traditionally married the girlfriend and they would have had the legal/western marriage as soon as the divorce was over. So in the communities wife, the estranged wife was now an ex and he had a new wife. But it looks really messy from an outsider’s perspective especially him being a pastor’s son. But it probably wouldn’t have made a difference. The estranged wife was also in a relationship yet she got her boyfriend to kill her husband. She couldn’t move on.
I reject all divorced men and definitely all separated men. I don't even go on a first date with them because they have too much baggage. Marriage is spiritual and is lasts till either the man or woman dies regardless of if they're in court divorcing

@@wiggly103 1. When in Rome, you do as the Romans do; Seth married an American FIRST. He should have cut ties with her COMPLETELY including changing the locks and having her mail sent to her new address.
2. If Seth was going by African tradition, then he should have stuck to that and not accepted money from this woman. People, especially men, tend to overlook that women who invest in you expect a return on their investment, a return meaning a lifetime commitment. By the time they invest in improving you, they have failed to find a finished product out there so they make the monetary and physical sacrifice to make their own dreams come true. To leave that woman for any reason is to sign your own death warrant!
3. A marital relationship is between TWO people; what TF is this nonsense of her brother living with you all? That is just trouble waiting to happen, that is a given. 4. People need to go back to living their lives discreetly; this social media business of flaunting all your life's milestones on social media invites unwanted attention. I know a guy from Zimbabwe that did this. He married a single mom from the hood. It took 5yrs and he was putting himself through college and dental school during that time. Once he got his green card he left her just before he started his career after school. He moved to Atlanta and now owns two dental practices. Everyone but her knew why he married her. He made sure not to get her pregnant too because he wanted no ties.
This lady married Nigerian he pretended to love her. Then he convinced her to file for his cousin to USA. Cousin finally came lived with them. Once the husband got his green card, he started treating the wife horrible. Then he left with his cousin, who really was his girlfriend the whole time. The wife was crying uncontrollable and tremendous devastated. It was a sad situation, the interesting part the cousin pretending the whole time, with kindness, shopping with the wife, cooking native dishes, traveling, wife helping her to file for school and so many other things. They both plotting to destroy this lady life with no remorse to get what they wanted. The Bible say man heart is desperately wicked. Jeremiah 17:9

As a matter of fact, majority of african marriages, the men are older which means majority of tragedies in african marriages are between an older man and younger wife! My grandmother was 7 years older than my grandfather, they were happily married until my grandfather passed away at 78!!
