I'm 39 and he's taught me a lot. I could listen to his music all day, but also listen to a podcast of him talking for hours. Can't wait until he writes a book. He could. I have many of the same thoughts, but can't get them out like he can
64 y.o. here, and I feel the same way. I feel it in my bones that Ren is a touchstone kind of person who really will help "raise all ships." (Mixed metaphors, lol.) Seeing how people of ALL ages are reacting to him and his art in a positive, thoughtful way gives me a great sense of hope. Edit: "Touchstone" isn't quite the right word. Maybe "talisman" is better.
I'm 60 and Ren has taught me so much too. My 21-year-old can't get into him because Dad recommended him first. We are the opposite about creating an image. Between Ren and Dimash, The 2 GOATS, in Dad's opinion, can't be on any "Top 10" list of son.
4:27 (cdt) It is apparent that Ren lives outside of himself. That seems to be where his strength comes from. Every time I hear him talk he is giving some of his strength away to someone less healthy than he. Ren you are a good dude, my friend.
He's a gem. I am a 39 year old that can't afford therapy, so this helps a lot. Ren is so human, yet an angel. I know he's not prefect, but he's trying so hard and that helps me.

I know what you mean. I cannot remember in my 310 years of life any artist ever triggering so many emotions in me so often and so easily. He just walks right into our hearts each and every time. He is nothing short of utterly remarkable.
He has learnt wisdom the hard way, at an early age. He is sharing it with incredible generosity. We owe it to ourselves, and to him, to also learn from it, and to share it with others
I think he is an old soul, wise beyond his years. He is also very intelligent, reminds me of someone with a high IQ. I think he would of been just as great without being sick, but the sickness gave him strength and empathy in another direction.

My siblings and I grew up with a mentally ill Mother. We learned to cope with her illness. I wish there were artists like Ren back in the day. He is an inspiration. Our Mother left this world 8 years ago, RIP.

In the UK we're mainly directed toward counselling or CBT for mental health care, but I think Ren is a great example of how ACT may sometimes be more beneficial - especially those with chronic illnesses who cannot change our situations. One of my most important lessons was that acceptance of my illness and its limitations did not mean I had given up on hope of recovery. Quite the opposite; it was the only way to heal.
I have been leaning this way more and more, I don’t want to think about my health every day, i just want to accept it and move in and I think I’m getting there. Ren is a hugely therapeutic person at every level, even the lighter tunes are absolute fire. He makes me laugh cry dance. No one like him.

thank you again for your reaction, you help me stay grounded and focus on what's really important in my daily life. Just confirming what I thought and reminding me I am not alone. I lost my best friend of 30+ yrs in July and I was starting to drift towards that dark solitude. Thanks again to both you and Ren for pointing out the light... it is always there but sometimes it just harder for you to see when you are pointed in the wrong direction. For me anyway...
I continued to be amazed how we can find motivation or inspiration in the most unanticipated places to take new paths in life. May you move forward with strength of heart
What do I do with that struggle that may seem strange, self seeking attention, supernatural, bizarre, mental... I have to ingest it and it turns my skin on fire until hopefully the embers lesson lessens. It doesn't go in that direction though, seems worse the more I try, but that's all I have is to try.
People living in cities that become disconnected with nature maybe do not realise what damage is being done. The way we think of the small picture and not the future for our children and grandchildren etc.A completely throw away society is so distructive. We have lost the art of making things that are beautiful and last or can be mended.
Ren is fantastic and although I believe all he does and know his intentions are right this is a bit to much (for me personally). The message is fully included in his art no need to do this Ren with all due respect I love you and cry a lot when you hit me again and again with Hi Ren. You make me proud and thankful I lived in the time Ren finally got his well deserved stage. Keep the magic in the art. Show yourself in interviews and avoid overdoing things aside like this. I really hope this feedback does not offend anyone it's my opinion (or feeling).

That's the saddest part you can't afford the therapy. We don't pay for any of that in the UK.
