The Unions all fund labour and in that way every member of the unions is unconsciously contrubuting to the cover-up this is especially serious if one happens to be a teacher. @Rafe Heydel-Mankoo Rafe please use your platform to question the teaching unions taking no action over the refusal to launch a public enquiry. The Unions all fund labour and in that way every member of the unions is unconsciously contrubuting to the cover-up this is especially serious if one happens to be a teacher. I believe the Unions are the key to putting Starmer between a rock and a hard place as if the unions withdrew their support he will have to call an enquiry or be deposed by his own party. The Union members must be reached and made cognisant that their subs are in part funding the cover up hopefully their natural disgust will do the rest.
An advanced society like the UK should have researched the social systems prevalent in countries from where it allowed large numbers of immigrants from. Much of the World outside Europe and North America is backward in social and cultural terms.
The problem is that the UK always thinks they know best. Other societies are far more advanced and they are not necessarily European. NOT learning from others is a big failure.

The problem has been growing for the past half century. Back in the seventies, some of my elderly relatives lived in a quiet street in Rochdale, which was mainly occupied by similar elderly white people. By the eighties, a group of Pakistani families had moved in, and were actively intimidating the other residents into moving out. Stories were also circulating even then, about what happened to local girls who these people got their hands on. My relatives were assaulted and spat at in the street, by the women as well as the men, but when they tried to complain to the police, they were dismissed as racists. Like everyone else in that street, they eventually sold their house at well below its market value, and were understandably bitter about it all. They said then that there were huge problems ahead, and it looks like they were right. There are plenty of Pakistani families who have moved to the UK and integrated well, but there is also a subset who demonstrate that not all cultures are compatible, and that is finally becoming obvious.

Among reports like this there are others that revive hope in humanity. For example, a Holocaust survivor saying clearly that what is happening in Gaza is wrong.
