The Outsider will blow you away. I promise. You just gotta wait for it. This record is best enjoyed as an album experience from front to back imo. Really tells a story more than anything.
I really hope that you check out an album by Maynard’s other OTHER side project Puscifer. Nothing really can compare to Tool, including APC, but you’ll find lots of strange, intriguing, comedic, catchy, and very unique stuff happening in Puscifer’s music. It’s hard to know where to begin, as their sound is ALL over the place, but perhaps their first album “V is for Vagina” or their more recent “Money Shot” is a good place to start. Puscifer took me quite a while to appreciate (even longer than Tool, my favorite band), but I have a feeling that you’ll immediately be entertained at the very least, especially if you start with V.
APC, while I can't say don't stack Maynard's vocals, use Billy Howerdel as a backup vocalist. They can produce some beautiful harmonies. Check out their live show from Red Rocks. It's on full display.
Hello my brother ...love your reactions...if you have have time please do some Muse...first and second album are insane..you ll not regret it...continue the great work!!!!!!!!
This album is really meant to be listened to in one sitting if you ask me but no one did and since you’re doing it this way, you’ll run into a couple songs I think you’ll find to be more than solid. My all time favorite APC song Gravity is the last track. That has 10 potential.
If you would like to react to something you may not have heard before, I would recommend listening to the artist Aesthetic Perfection with their song Love Like Lies
I think APC's first album is better end to end, with a lot more great songs. 13th step is not as deep but has some of their best songs, Pet and Outsider is probably 2 of my favorite songs from Maynard all the way around. I also think Passive (Yes i know that used to be Vacant from Tapeworm, but that is Maynard covering Maynard) is probably one of their best also off the cover album. The new album is solid too.
One of the most beautiful songs out there.
APC was always a slow burner for me, Can’t get enough them now and I think their newest album could be my favourite
Eat the Elephant's my favorite too.
Same. Puscifer also a slow burner, now I live off if it!
@@aaroncole3941 Puscifer is definitely good too.
Me too, but it's now a daily listen for me. As less and less good new music comes out I have to dig deeper into the past and again, now love Puscifer

Totally agree. I hope he checks out the Live version from the Late Show after the album version. So good.
I used to listen to those album top to bottom for a solid month going to and from work. Got better with each listen

Second Best APC song in my opinion
I can’t wait to see you hear “Outsider” and “Pet”
just one of ur first favorites ones from this album man
This album is my favourite of theirs. Keeps building and building with each listen.
Dope. Glad to see you back doing more Maynard. I haven't listened to APC for awhile so I'm glad to join you on the journey.
My favorite vibes of apc
Lovely. 💙
U must check their concert at red rocks! They take there songs to a higher level 🔥🔥🔥
Where this guy go? Hope everything's okay... recently ran across this channel and just saw the sudden stop 7 months ago.
Would love to see you check out and react to some Puscifer songs. One of Maynard's many projects that he absolutely crushes.
We need a reaction (why not stoned) to Karnivool's "Sound Awake" album in full. You won't be disappointed ;)

Me being a Maynard fan I'm gonna check out the Red Rocks live show
Mer the Noms is their best album hands down....
Love this song the most on this album. Eat the Elephant is definitely my favorite APC album though.
Any plans to still react to Opeth?
More Opeth and anything from Maynard
@@scottspears9347 More Opeth was expected, but he hasn't done reactions for almost a year now. I remain subscribed in case he ever comes back.
@@floridabelle same here

You need to check out Mer de Noms, it's much harder than Thirteenth Step which is more intimate and melodic

Everything you said I agree with

I'd love to hear you react to some Rishloo! Think you'd really appreciate their stuff... Amazing band! ua-cam.com/video/TBYOgS7USGk/v-deo.html
Do Tesseract Altered State album and Polaris album. You will thank me.
Altered State is an absolute must. It's a masterpiece, especially Of Matter
so what happened? did he die?
music was too good for em
In my opinion Mer De Noms is the superior APC album.
