Wow! It looks so lifelike. What a great job you've done. If you'd be able to mass produce a sim like this say for instance for the RAAF F-18E/F or EA-18G, you'd probably have a customer. Great for developing tactical skills and multitasking in mid air.
Inspirational build, and very clean, professional layout... The improvements in VR made me stop building my own pit and settle for a reclined seat with a flexible HOTAS-setup. Everyone has his own preference, but I like to fly multiple a/c-types using VR. Changing the seat recline and position of stick and throttle is enough for me when using VR (where I can not see any other hardware cockpit instruments/controls). Could you tell me what length extender (and spring) you have chosen for your Warthog stick? I guess the length is probably determined by the original A-10C stick, but am still curious.

I'm pretty sure all ya gotta do is put your key in the ignition, pump the throttle a few times, pull out the choke, make sure the clutch is pressed in and your transmission is in neutral, lock the parking brake. Crank the engine over until it coughs once or twice, put it on 1/2 choke and start it up. Let the engine warm up a few minutes and push the choke back in.
I should get a f14 like this.
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. It would be great if something like this could be bought off the shelf in general.
Pretty good... But.... Nothing like my keyboard and mouse lol... Great job, mate, keep it up :)
That's an awesome home cockpit.
I'll be sticking to VR thought, as I'm flying a few different planes regularly.
And get much more immersion, than this setup, with curved screen. (My opinion)
When they add the UH-60.... then maybe I'll try and do something like this....
Me too...
@@thewarthogproject what you're gonna do this again for a whole another plane?
God help us
OMG - simply brilliant!! And the A10 is such an awesome bird to sim. Thanks for sharing. 😁😁😁

Wow, I am flashed. Even in a top notch simulator you can do a Jingles landing. Well done, and also well done video. Nice to see some info behind the scenes, and what it takes to get such impressive gear running.

Heh, now this is a proper sim rig. Wish I had one but perhaps one day I might, thanks for sharing and really good and clean work on it.
This is simultaneously the most badass and saddest thing I have seen.
I don't see what's sad about this - apart from the fact that it isn't mine.
This is the future
Amazing. I love the A-10 and thought I was being a spendthrift for getting the Warthog HOTAS. I would love to try your setup. Wow.. just wow
P.C. Gaming = 1
playstation and one = 0
:D
You’ve done all these systems!!! You are a complete and fulfilled man!!!! 😀
So are you technically starting with a GPU considering you have power to the cockpit from the beginning?
Awesome setup! Love that you have a b!tching Betty (alt monitor) And its amazing how similar the engine start up procedures are to the airframe I used to work on.... I'm a retired USAF jet engine mechanic and crew chief
