Ok, I understand the woman in the 3rd story didn't get along with her roommate, but as a fellow woman if you called me saying you thought you were drugged whether I like you are not and whether I'm on a date is irrelevant. I would immediately tell my date we were going to get you and if they weren't just as concerned for your safety as I am, they are not worth my time to begin with. I would stay on the phone with you if I could till I got to bar and break some shit down screaming "WHERE ARE YOU?!" and I would take you to a hospital, NOT another fucking bar because I wanted to be petty and have more fun while my drugged roommate is parked on a stool. Seriously, what the fuck?! Whoever this girl is or was she really needs a better roommate.

She (the women from the third story) would have been better off calling the cops or asking a random couple or group of people at the bar to bring her to the hospital. I'm sure they would have been more helpful.
I couldn't agree more. Towards the end of my sophomore year in college I had a similar situation with my roommate. We got into a big fight about a month after school started and had ignored each other as much as possible since then. One Friday night she went on a date with a guy that was in one of her classes. At the bar, he drugged one of her drinks. She called me when she realized something was seriously wrong. I was hanging out with my boyfriend, but I left right away to go find her. I took her to the ER and stayed with her until one of her actual friends got there.
I don't know why she called me of all people. We didn't get along and we didn't really even like each other. What I do know is that if I was in that situation, I would want someone to help me regardless of whether or not we got along.
Even if I dislike a certain someone and they've been caught up into some shit, I'd still lend them a helping hand 'cause it's the right thing. Ugh.

Ordering it "neat"- a member of the staff will escort you to your car
Ordering it "on the rocks"- a member of the staff will call you a taxi or an Uber
Ordering with "lime"- a member of the staff will call the police
Remember you have *every* reason to leave when someone makes you feel uncomfortable.

The most upsetting part of these stories for me is the TOTAL lack of support from the witnesses after the victims asked them for help. What a bunch of scum.
I was at a bar once. Not a date, just hanging out with some friends. I went up to the bar to get a beer and stood next to this woman. She looked at me for a second and our eyes met. She was fairly good looking but not really my type and I'm sure she wasn't checking me out, she just wanted to see who was there. That's when I saw it out of the corner of my eye.It looked to me like the guy had put something into her drink. I said something like, "What was that?" Then, "He just put something in your drink!" Whatever it was dissolved instantly and the drink looked totally normal. I had no way to prove what I saw but just as I said it the bar tender had walked up to take my order. He grabbed the guy's hand, fortunately he hadn't had time to get rid of the package the roofie came in. They called the cops and the guy was arrested.
The guy was quick and smooth. If I hadn't happened to be looking at the girl when it happened I would have missed it and I only looked for a fraction of a second. If you get roofied it's not anything to be ashamed of. They say to keep an eye on your drink but that is a lot harder than you might think, especially in a crowded bar.
Another way to keep out of trouble is to bring a friend on the date. The friend doesn't need to be visible, just arrange to have someone you trust where they can keep an eye on you and intervene in things go loopy.
Just arranging to meet in a public place isn't really as safe as it used to be. Despite the rare good Samaritan, you can't depend on strangers to keep you safe. Looking back the only reason I said something is because I was so surprised. If I had had time to think about it I might have convinced myself I was wrong, that it had only looked like he put something in her drink. To be fair I wasn't sure he had.

Just take a friend with you. Arrange to have them watch covertly. That way they can step in if need, but their presents will never be known if they aren't needed.

These stories remind me of what happened to my cousin years ago. She was asked by a distant cousin of hers on the other side of the family to go to a farm that the family used for hunting and camping. She agreed and after she got in the car and saw that the door handle was missing she knew she could be in trouble. She was right. This guy started telling her how he was going to rape her and do all sorts of perverted things to her and then kill her. He would hide her body at the farm and that would be that.
Well he had to stop for gas at a station only a half of mile from my house. She convinced him she had to pee really bad and couldn't wait. He finally agreed and watched her as she went in toward the bathrooms. She didn't slow her pace but as she passed the counter she cried out that she was being abducted and he was going to kill her and to call the police. Then she stayed in the bathroom until they knocked and told her it was safe. She came out and there were police cars all around his car and they had him handcuffed and on the ground. He shouted to her that he would kill her when he got out but it turns out his DNA matched several other violent rapes. So he's never getting out. Thank God.

She'd do things like follow me to my classes and wait at my locker and even follow me to the bus I took home and try to get on with me. I had one that happened to me 6 yrs ago. A friend of my mother's tried to get me to go out with her step-son. He liked the same music I did, the same games I did and the same movies. I thought of him as a friend, nothing more. He sent me a letter and it gave me chills when he in his letter he said he was into body mutilation and would love to tear into mine. I disregarded the letter and burned it. 1 day afterwards, I got a letter from the same guy saying he saw me burn the letter in my home and saw that I was alone. In his letter, he said I can see you in your room. I was so frightened, I gave the letter to my mother and she decided to let our dog Petunia outside.. By the way Petunia is a pit bull. She barked and chased him down. I told my mother's friend to stay out of my life and don't try to get me to date anyone else. My mother gave her the letter and said next time she's calling the police. They moved away and I never got another letter from him.
It was incredibly scary.

There's so many gross entitled guys who feel that they are owed whatever they want from women. It makes me sick. I recently had an encounter with a guy like this. Whining and complaining and getting downright ANGRY that women weren't lining up to date him after his divorce. Because with his money and charm, something was really WRONG with them for not being interested! Blaming literally everyone but himself for his failure at relationships. This was after he'd creepily stalked me and followed me multiple times to my work to ask me out. I flat out told him that he had problems and needed to seek help. That I couldn't listen to him anymore and definitely couldn't go anywhere with him. I turned around and went into work and thankfully haven't seen him since! I just got home from a date and im shaking. The date was fun and all, when i went to drive her home we got lost. We actually got lost in some horror story ghost town where everything was either vacant or under construction. Couldnt find a soul to ask for directions, and most of the light on the street was absent.
For some reason our cellphones couldnt find a route, always asking for us to turn int streets that didnt exists. This NEVER ever happened to me before. I was almost pissing myself...
The girl i went to the date with was super cute and fun, shes actually far above my league (im just avarage, she was 9.5/10, almost perfect) which, when i was in the middle of nowhere, sparked my reason to understand that as waaay too odd and convenient. The worst part was she had a very morbid sense of humor and was talking about how we got lost in another dimension, and although we were lost in the middle of nowhere in a ghost town, she remained calm. Talking all this strange stuff mostly looking at my face while smiling.
I was like "this girl is 100% going to kill me".
I kept driving at the highest speed i could so she would hopefully understand that if she kill me right there i would lose control of the vehicle and she would die as well.
After like 2 hours lost at that motherfucking city we found a police car by the road. Turns out that the city we were in was actually a massive condominium under construction and the police car we found was some private security personnel checking an alarm that went off in one of the houses under construction. They escort us out of that hell and i was able to take my scarry date back to her home safe and sound.
Just got back home also safe and sound. She sent me a message like "hope youre okey, thanks for the amazing date

I remember ome of my closest friends putting something on my beer behind my back. We bought a couple of beer after inviting me to his home. He insisted on opening the bottle for me in the kitchen. Shortly after, I was blacking out after a few drinks. As I fell heavily into sleep, I asked if I could aleep for a while.
He took me to his room and I layed down his bed. Strangely, he closes the lights and lied beside me. That's where it really gets weird. He started pulling me towards him, putting my hands on his sultry face, asking me to kiss him. It was so disgusting.
My senses just suddenly awoke as it happened. It felt my body was on alert. I stood up and got all my things and left his house. He followed me to where I was getting a ride. He followed as if he didn't know what happened. I was so uncomfortable as I waited for 20 minutes.
And thank goodness I did get home safe and fine. I showered after that dirty experience before I rest. The next morning, he texted me and told me he didn't know what happene, but he said I shouldn't tell anyone. If he didn't know what happened, why is he worried about it? This made me curious. I never just suddenly black out after half a bottle. Its when I thought he might have drugged me. The problem was that I didn't have enough evidence, but at least my story was enough to convince people that he might not be the nice person everyone thought. I didn't think text back and blocked him.
I told alot of people anyway. I hope to ruin his reputation for good. Obviously, I'll never see him ever again.
