The jogging story is actually super scary, as recently a girl disappeared while jogging on a track in the woods in my area, and was later found dead, and the murderer hasn't been found yet.

Sony God Yeah you're right, they did find the guy, idk if he walked into the station but from what i read it seems that he was a suspect and after testing his DNA and comparing it to what they found on the crime scene, he turned out to be the right guy and then he confessed to the police when he was held for questioning.

Not trying to make light of people's real experiences with being stalked and stuff, but I always think about this exact type of thing with stories of people being followed and whatnot. Maybe it's me projecting my own awkwardness or something, but unless they're doing something blatantly creepy or aggressive, I don't immediately jump to the conclusion of the follower having a sinister motive. Sometimes people just don't realize how awkward they're being, especially if they're lost in their own thoughts. It's like that one John Mulaney joke where he talks about accidentally chasing a woman down because he thought she was running to catch a train and he didn't want to miss it hahahaha

Usually people who are minding their own business will keep jogging, switch up their pace or even go to the other side of the trail.
When you said in one of the stories, three or four, "I ran like my life depended on it." I was like, "It probably did."
Same, I was like "because it did!"
these are the stories that make women and girls weary of men they see on the street. even neighbors cannot be completely trusted

In my opinion, the jogging story was the one that freaked me out the most, the way the person described the man’s breathing, the look in his eyes, him stopping and listening for any sound, the way his arms were like he was made of metal or something. It all just creeped me out 😭.

I used to walk alone multiple times a week at the high school track. One night an old van followed me all the way home. They kept circling around blocks and trying to linger at intersections so I'd have to walk right by, but I waited them out every time. Really unsettling. A couple weeks later some guy tried to abduct a lone woman walker a few blocks from my house. She fought back and he sped off. It gives me the creeps to think that could have been me. I don't walk alone at night anymore. Too many sick freaks out there.

Story #1 reminds me of what my niece went through. A friend of the family was grooming my oldest niece. His wife knew of what he was doing, and ignored it. My sister-in-law turned him into the police, but they said because she was 16, it was fine. My oldest brother got ahold of my middle brother.. My oldest brother's words were "Do not ever come near her again, if you wanna live." My middle brother's words were "If you come near her again, I'll cut you balls off and burn them."

heres a stalker story, me and my friend used to always hang out everyday and one day, for her 8th birthday she has a sleepover with wer cousins and friends. there was a man who would always watch us play in the backyard. on the night of her birthaday we were watching rio, and that man desided to go in her backyard and walk around. tbh for the rest of the night we slept in the basement.... 6 years later, she texted me saying "remember that guy from years ago? he just broke into my house." that was 2 months ago... i have a feeling hes after me next
