      its not that unusual to see shopping carts unattended in supermarkets and stores. people tend to just leave them there and say 'be right back' when they wanna quickly grab something. ive been left alone with the shopping cart before while my mom goes to grab things. now i wasnt as young as the OP was, but it wasnt that long ago when people felt comfortable leaving their kids for a few minutes in the shopping cart while they went to grab things, especially if they had a lot of stuff in the cart and didnt feel like pushing it. particularly if its in an area they know or a store they frequent and the OP did mention his parents had friends who would appear in the store a lot so it was probably a store they felt safe to leave their kid unattended in. reckless but definitely not unrealistic.

    • @malinachainey1564
      @malinachainey1564 5 років тому +33

      Exactly, how hard is it for them to walk down the aisle with their kid in the cart. Or here is a bright idea have 1 of the parents stay with the kid, while the other grabs whatever they need done the aisle. I have 2 kids and do the grocery shopping alone with them, I've never had a problem with them going down the aisles with me. The parents in that story were just fucking clueless, prob thought something like a kidnapping would never happen in their town.

    • @BlazeDuskdreamer
      @BlazeDuskdreamer 5 років тому +25

      @@Anakaraya No, it's just plain stupid and OP is lying. The story claims they left the cart up front while they went in two different directions getting ALL their groceries. I've got to call bull on that. A thing or two would have been more believable but people choosing to put all their groceries (while also leaving a 7yo unattended) in their arms instead of the convenience of a cart is not. Then, after the incident, they not only don't bring him up and down the aisles but leave a 7yo home alone? Bull.

    Mum: why the hell do you always sleep with your door locked?
    Me: murderers

    • @hannahb8483
      @hannahb8483 8 років тому +27

      Also why I have always had a knack for picking the safest beds in hotels...on the bottom floor you go near the door (unless it's a room that opens to the outside then you go to the one farthest from the window and door) and any floor above where someone could scale the building so most likely the 2nd or 3rd floor, you take the bed closest to the window. However, you still put someone else in between you and the window...so that if some murderer did scale the side of the building and come in, then the first person they'd see would not be me. My family always gets pissed when I choose a bed after they already put their stuff on it XD but if i'm safer in that bed, I'm going to sleep in it.

      @@marchionessamoretto7326 It's dumb because it isn't even credible. Even the stupidest of parents wouldn't put their kid in a cart, leave it at the front of the store unattended choosing to pile up their arms with groceries instead of using the cart to hold them. Then when the incident happeens they leave the kid home alone when they go grocery shopping? They'd be more worried to do that, not less, after a scare like that. It's not even believable.

    All the stories on this Episode sent chills down my spine. There are people that lack conscience, slightly drunk or sober. Doesn't matter in what condition but the faculty of mind is sinister.
    When I trod on a mouse without looking I was in an emotional breakdown, or witness a school kid knocked by a car It disturbs me to the brain and I cry to never sleep for days. That means one thing, thank god I am normal even if I am a bit weird at times.

      The fourth story really struck a nerve for me. When I was a toddler and on holiday with my parents I got into the hotel elevator with a group of older kids who thought it would be funny to hit every button and run out leaving me trapped in there, really messed me up. If I ever got a hold of them now I'd bury the fuckers alive for what they did.

    I hate to judge parents, because I'm not one myself, but WHY did they think the needed to leave the cart unattended while they shopped? I think we've all left our carts, with child in it or not, for a second or two to grab something down an aisle or in the next aisle, but to regularly leave your cart unattended while you go and grab armfuls of groceries and bring them back to your cart?? Even without the context of leaving a child unattended, that sounds like dumbassery. Don't they realize carts have wheels? WTF

    I've got a similar story to the first one. My friend and I went to the hospital to visit his sister and her newborn boy. Upon leaving, literally right outside of the doors stood a guy mid-20s that had a hospital gown and iv tubes sticking from his arms and chest.
    He looked and was acting like he was doped up on drugs, as he walked up to us asking us to give him a ride to his friend's house. Normally we would ignore some guy like this but it was the middle of the day, we felt safe and decided to entertain him a bit and ask him questions such as "Why do you look like that?", "Why do you need a ride when there's a phone literally 30 feet away at the front desk?", "Why don't you give us your friend's number?"
    He claimed that he hit his head and was admitted to the hospital but they kicked him out when he didn't have insurance. This started getting hilarious because his ruse was so incredibly stupid. We kept punching holes in his story because he obviously wanted to rob us or bring us to a bad section of town when we got in the car, but we made it completely obvious that his story and act really sucked. I mean, his face and speech was acting like he was on drugs, but you could just tell he was faking it. He said he had a head injury but there was no bandages on his head (we didn't tell him this cuz we didn't want to improve his game) and he couldn't remember his friend's number but knew exactly where they lived, and the fact that the hospital kicked him out but kept his clothes while forcing him to keep the iv tubes in his arms and chest AND his hospital gown. It was a really bad plan.
    In the end, we walked away and watched him from the car. He lingered around and ignored people as they walked by. This was a safe area and I know he wasn't going to do anything with the hospital cameras 10 feet away. We didn't bother to call anyone on him because first of all, no one was going to fall for his story, and secondly he was right in front of the hospital so at some point security was going to kick his *** and get the cops on him.

    i experienced a frighting experience a while ago it all happened when i lived in my old house i lived with my dad and i was an only child so during the summer the time when i was making friends was out on my block. I meant another kid that what a lot older than me, i think he was about 14 i was 12 at the time and i was really scared kid who was scared by noises in the house. so when i was out on the block that kid mentioned his name was josh. i started playing with him because i found highly relatable he lived with his dad he was an only child. one day i weird man pulled up in in a truck. he asked if he could come in i denied and he left. josh played the same video games and liked riding bikes. josh would often call to play so i would come and play. josh really liked me then i maid a mistake by giving me emailaddress. it stared out as normal texts. then it got unsettling like how are you, are your doors locked, be safe, is your dad okay, those type of of texts. one day he invited me inside his house. my dad worked nights so he said it was okay. as soon as i walked in i was greeted by a nasty smell and coffee stains on walls. and a familiar face that struck terror it was that guy who pulled up to my house with that truck. i realized this kid was freaking creep. i sprinted the hell out out fucking hell hole a fast i can i reported them
    and found out that 13 other bodies were in that house and in josh had pictures of me on the walls of his room meaning that he set up cameras inside my house he took pictures of me while i was sleeping, in the bathroom, and stuff.

    I know for a fact that in about 20 years where 15-25 year olds will be fathers serial killers will become extinct the reason being the creepypastas and possibly real stories like these.I don't know about you but if I have a kid instead of doing long speeches of why you shouldn't go out at night and without supervision when you are young I'll just show them these kind of videos.I believe stories like these have already saved lives.For example look at story #1.

      +georgemanize +jokerswild00 Well that's a bit far fetched but these stories do increase the awareness of people. For example, I wake up at 5am and go to my bus at 6am for school; in theSpring smmer the sun is already up but since it's Fall right now it's still pretty dark. Before I watched these I used to mindlessly walk outside in the dark like if nothing would happen. Now that I watch these I'm more aware of my surroundings and always wear my glasses so I can see people from a distance
