Just build at dusk. Farming at full moon works the same for every character since werepigs hate everybody. Place it somewhere where you wont be passing usually though
In multiplayer do the werepigs attack you? I made the farm on my friends server but it kept attacking me and due to my ping i couldn’t kite them so i could only kill one 😐
I mean, this is in DST and you can see clear as day that they aren't hitting me unless I stop hitting them so not too sure what you're doing wrong there friend.
Beard, for some reason this isn’t working for me on console. Could the fact that I built it by a sinkhole with batilisks make a difference? I made my wall box the same dimensions as yours but not all of the pigs get attracted and when I do attack one, the others turn on me. Additionally, if I wait til the full moon, they are in their houses for some reason.
this happens to me too. seems fossils aren't so reliable as walls anymore. i fenced both the bait in twice (double security lol) and they still managed to get in. i never saw it happen though, only when i've been off screen and come back to pigs leaking in everywhere :(
To be honest friend there are times where I want to do nothing but AVOID Don't Starve but then I either just start and get into a groove for a video or simply say screw it and don't. You don't HAVE to play if you don't want to, never force yourself or else your feelings for the game will only get worse.

I made this video is response to people saying that it didn't work anymore (I have an original pig farm from over a year ago on this channel plus this one), and clearly I showed that it still works so I have no idea what people are doing wrong on their end.

You can use whatever walls you want, as long as the pigs/werepigs are attracted to the bait they won't attack the walls.

When I build the farm ad attack the pigs, all of them stop running at the wall and attack me. Why is this?

Pigs don't leave their homes come dusk and night and the caves are always in that time technically so no.

Pigs will still prioritise eating over killing you so your character choice is irrelevant.

Did you turn off lag compensation? I ran into this issue, but when I set it to predictive, it was fixed.

Some do, sure. But really only ones where you don't get close to them to draw agro.

Normal pigs don't drop guaranteed loot, that's the whole point of using werepigs.

It works, yes. Perhaps not as good as it once did but it still absolutely works as long as you kill one at a time.
