Peace Sells is still the BEST Megadeth record,, hands down, Rust is great, don't get me wrong, but PS is the titan!!
@Fmc 2465 i think it's one of the defining records of the genre and that era, i mean we know where Metallica took off to, but i think this record stands right there versus anyone's catalog, PERIOD
Peace sells is the best album!
Gar the best drummer by a long shot. I love Poland but Marty is pretty close. Really Megadeth has never had a bad lead player.
At like 6:30 it almost sounds like these boots intro solo.. god they were so cool i can’t believe theyve known eachother that long. So sick to still see them up there after all these years. Chris will always be my favorite megadeth guitarist, he’s the reason those first few albums sounded so unique. Thank the lord he’s finally in the hall of fame!!!
his style is so weird and unique. Pedaling the f# with his thumb....power chords with the middle and pinky, weird picking hand etc.
It's a good way to find a root note with your index playing that way, most people go up the scale to find the next root note but he also goes down and more often than not he will. The guy is a legend in every way!
He picks like most great lead players do, efficiently. No wasted motion, puts it where it needs to go with only the energy needed to sound the note.
It's the result of an adolescent injury which messed his pinky up.
Megadeth leads has weird pick
Yea I was like wthell when I saw that pinkie power chord
Don't quit halfway on this one folks, you're welcome.
Yeah!!! Nobody sounds like Poland! Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!
What an awesome jam! Chris and Dave look so happy... that's the genuine love of the music... I hope I'm still rocking out like that when I'm their age!
Always great to see Chris.
The entire band is a 💯 percent a well oiled machine. Poland has a an awesome live tone.
Chris Poland is the best! amazing unique his guitar tone.
Dude is incredible. Wish we could see Poland perform with Megadeth one last time, even though the odds of it happening are almost zero.
Dustin James Dave is an asshole but makes good music
Chris Poland is an absolute Legend. One of the most unique style of playing!
That’s cool, so fuckin' unforgettable, Chris and Jr. that’s great, Chris remembering HEROIN DAYS! 🤘🏻😁
Thanks for your love and support all your kind wishes and encouragement.
kindly message me via Hangouts endeavor with your name so I can know it's you cause I won't answer unnecessarily messages.

Hell yeah Chris Poland. I'd love to see a Damn the Machine reunion.
i came back 3 years later to watch this. My favorite era of Megadeth w/ Poland. U can tell him and Dave having some much fun. Both still great players.
Chris Poland and Alex Skolnick should do an album together, since they both like jazz.
That sure would be one melodic album!😁
Their bands did a tour with Friedman's band.
There's a Lamb of God album that features solos from both Chris Poland and Alex Skolnick!
Dave's got cancer and Chris Poland is a great grandfather? Fuq getting old.
@gatewaysofmysteria and the Earth is flat!!!! 😳😳😳
@gatewaysofmysteria Yeah and my pineapple is gay
@gatewaysofmysteria Throat cancer, directly affected his singing. Can't sing as good (and as high pitched) as before and it pains him to sing. It directly affect his career and tours.
@@mk_jdilla that was mostly because of the neck surgery previous to the cancer. The cancer just halted him singing for a while
What a kickass thing to see! I really loved those days when Chris and Gar
were there. It is how you discover a band that makes that initial impact.
Changes ..are not something we deal with well in life!- I'm still a huge fan, but those days were, and always will be just pure magic on my psyche!
Tim Madden I got to see them on the peace sells tour at a club. Seen them since with various line ups and none have came close to that show
@@jlobiafra I saw them on the PSBWB club tour too!- w/ Overkill! It was at the Cameo Theatre in Miami!- the best!
His runs sound exactly like the album, so awesome. If that doesn't prove that alot of your tone is in the hands I don't know what will!
His style and tone are inspirational. No matter what album, amp, or guitar he's on, I can tell it's him.
Chris is like that cool uncle you never imagine that could be even cooler
Such a cool and historic moment! He still has the chops!
Ellefson picking hand is strong.
You can tell he works it constantly.
Friggin brilliant. Skolnick, Poland, Mustaine, and Spitz....best lead players in 80's Thrash.
DAMN. That improv before peace sells. Gotta be honest, i was afraid this was gonna be one of those things where someone was dragged on a stage because of nostalgia (i didn't follow chris' career after megadeth), but he has evolved dramatrically as a musician. Not that he wasn't good back then. Wow. I love that fusion style, i love his sound, that legato lines, the fact he doesn't just shred but plays musically. Great :) All the love from germany!
Holy crap, that was fun! Chris Poland still shreds and John Bush always looks like he's the happiest person in the room.
Poland is up there with Jake E. Lee for most underrated guitarists of all time!
This man kept all the metal inside, that's why he rocks so much.
This was awesome! No other Megadeth guitarist could emulate Poland's playing well. He nails these songs like it's still 1987, maybe even better. Probably the best footage of him playing Megadeth songs too as there aren't really any great live recordings from his era in the 80's.
I only wish they would've played Good Mourning/Black Friday too. Like how they snuck a little These Boots in there though.
Peace Sells was my first metal cassette I bought as a kid. Chris Poland always held a special place in my heart as a metal guitarist. I know he's had his problems in life but in my opinion he never got the credit he deserved. He looks like a kid again up there on stage with his old friends having a ball. I'm so glad I clicked on this.
Chris plays with so much ease i need to work on that for sure!
This is fucking epic. A piece of history. This made me very happy. Chris deserves his part in the thrash history, a game changer, a unique guitar player a pioneer of the genre. He is an icon and a hero.
sounding great and great to see poland and dave playing again...:)
You can tell poland never lets his fingers rest for too long. His playing is in such great shape, it's fascinating how good he is even in his 60s.
All the ex-memebrs of megadeth should just form a band at this point
Loved this! Brings back what metal is really about. To see Chris and Dave on the same stage again, awesome
This is 15 minutes from me... I can't believe I missed this lol
I meet Ellefson a few years, one of the realest and nicest guys out there!
