I love that you don't edit your videos and laugh about it when things go awry 😂😂😂 just like what happens to us at home. When I watch your videos I actually feel like I'm sitting in your kitchen 😊❤ and they actually turned out perfectly 🙌
I love your recipes. I made the bun using the Dash griddle and this recipe for the Tuna Melt. I cooked the tuna in the griddle and made 3 patties but I think I should have only made 2 patties. I flipped the tuna after 2 minutes on one side and cooked it for another 2 minutes. What a great sandwich... As I said, Courtney you have made my way of eating so much easier to stick to. Thank you..😍🥰😋
I had a 7 oz. can of tuna on hand and made these with 1 egg, a 2 serving block of Tillamook white cheddar cheese (48g so a little less than 1/4 cup), and a big slab of Kerrygold butter. I also mixed in some lemon pepper. Nice change up from the standard 3 egg omelettes I've been eating for lunch since going 99% carnivore (still drink coffee and use seasonings and hot sauce) and 100% Keto. The crunch from the melted cheese was a nice touch and made it seem like it was breaded, texture wise. Thanks for the recipe!
You could also add a little beef gelatin or egg white powder to the mix, if using a 7 oz sized can of tuna - to help hold it together with the one egg. I will be making these for sure, and will add some of the Kirkland Organic No Salt Seasoning to this mix before cooking. Yum 😋 thanks Courtney.
Excellent We are making this Now!!! Big Thanks!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏🥚👏❤❤My husband really liked this and doubled my recipe and I Also added 1 oz. Softened Cream cheese and 1/4 cup pork panko since it was thin and I dropped it into the pan by the spoonful and it was so tasty!!! I cooked on low to medium back and forth to let it cook thru..😋 🎉💪👏💕❤️😊
I watched your short of this, this morning, gave me an idea for breakfast. Didn’t have tuna, but I had chicken. Also cooked it in a Dash waffle (chaffle), and I’ll will put this in my weekly line up. Thanks!
Hi Courtney! I just found your channel and subscribed. This recipe looks great! I'm looking forward to seeing many more recipes from you. I appreciate your straightforward, real-time videos that aren't cut and chopped up. Nice job!
I have been cooking and baking long enough to learn the hard way not to make a new recipe when having guests, my experience anyways LOL and if you do, to follow the recipe precisely. I also know you can take any recipe and tweak it every time you make it, but I'm going to do this recipe with the pork rind crumbs and Redmond's organic seasoning salt . I am meat-based, not 100% carnivore but I also made somewhat of a tzatziki style sauce with a plain greek yogurt to top them off with. I did take the advice of a comment here about putting it in the refrigerator beforehand. Looking forward to my second and last meal! 🙏😋
I've tried different recipes and this one is my favorite, it's simple and it works, the cheese and egg alone are the best binder. Nut flours are kind of redundant, they make it more crumbly, they pack quite a punch calorie-wise, and don't really improve taste and texture.
Oh my God, Thank you @courtneyluna I have been struggling on this diet lately. Thank God for pork rinds 😅 excellent video and that's from Ontario Chinada.
OMG! I’ve made this with tuna and canned chicken topped with sour cream and they’re delicious. Also trying to eat more sardines so…I added some crushed pork rinds and parm into the mix with a can of sardines egg and cheese and loved it!
Oh I’ve done this with just a pan with some butter, then tuna in it and then just melt cheese over it. Same thing but easier 😂 maybe some onions, gives that pizza vibe. This inspires me to eat this soon, it’s so good
Can I recommend another fish to try? We love eating salmon salad made with canned salmon, and will definitely be trying your recipe with salmon. Can’t wait!!
Looks delicious! I’m doing Lion Diet for the month of January but I definitely want to try this later. Also side note - the way you pronounce the word egg (“ayg”) makes me giggle.
@@CourtneyLuna like it’s spelled I guess? Like the E sound is the same as the word “get” or “tent” rather than an “ay” sound like bagel or gate. Does that make sense? I figured it was a regional pronunciation difference!
I wonder if I took a can of sardines and grind them up to be like can of tuna if that would work. I never eat sardines, scared to try even though I've heard they are healthy. Do you eat sardines Courtney? 🙂
@@deborahstarnes4346 The cheese melted and fried in the butter when I made these and gave it a very nice crispy crunch. FYI - I did use block cheese so that melts better.
Courtney it's important to know that 80% of people feed their kids fast food at least six times a week. So you got to know that's what haters consider healthy 😉 just ignore haters for this reason

Chill them.before frying
Have already made these 3 times. They are so good!

These turned out great - so tasty. Thank you!
Glad you like them!
I may have to make these today! Luckily, I only have 5 oz cans of tuna ;-)
I would probably add some panko and an extra egg. Looks good
I did this! Yummy!
Just made & are. Not horrible! Might try chicken next time. Dipped in sour cream! Better!
We love these! My 3 year old calls them fish food! 😂
Haha how cute!
Can’t wait to try like the minimal ingredients. 😊
Hope you like it!

Have you tried doing this with canned chicken? I am not a tuna fan, but can eat canned chicken white meat.
I have, but didn’t care for it. Lots of comments on IG of people that did and enjoyed it though!

Salmon could also work for this
audio was low....where is your mic??? thks for sharing!!!😊
Sorry about that

No pork rind flour??

That would give it kinda of a crunch🤷♀️🤷♀️

Put it in a chaffle maker!

👍👍😋🥰
Yum. I used to eat these all the time. I would leave out the cheese to avoid dairy and cook in airFryer .
