Perfect tent for me. I’m 5f 7 Perfect size. I used it on my cross Canada and month long bike trip in Austria. I was asked about the size by people. It’s a very fast set. I’d come to a campsite where others were setting up an unpack and have it up before they even got their tent laid out. Yip very fast set up. Love the netting tent option
You should sleep with your head in the back of a front entrance tent. Specially in one made of thin UL materials. That way you will reduce the the risk of: * ripping the floor with steps (since you put all your weight in small areas that might have twigs or stones you didn't noticed before placing the tent ontop), * letting in particles with your feet into the far areas of the tent, * making extra movements when getting in/out (Just laying down frontally and exiting with one movement vs. making a 180 degree turn and then getting in/out) which will both save you time/trouble, and lessen the pressure exercised in the place where you sit once you get inside the tent.
I use the Mongar 2 with optional vestibule and love it. The Mongar2 is much like the Hubba Hubba and has lots of insides space for one person and has a gear loft. The vestibule will hold my burley nomad trailer easily with room to spare to cook in. In a pinch, I could put a potty bucket in the vestibule with my trailer. It’s handled many Texas thunderstorms with zero leaks.
Check out the Alpkit Soloist..a lightweight (under 1.2kg), one man freestanding tent, also available in the XL for taller guys. A great bikepacking tent!
FYI - Walmart 5’x7’ tarp in the camping section fits perfect for a footprint for the cloud up and the Nature hike Star River 2 (I have) - tarp is less than 20$
It has held up well for me. That being said, the thinner fabric translates to lighter weight. But, if you want a heavier fabric, they offer those options in this tent as well and they are even less expensive so it's hard to go wrong.

Where in KY are you? I used to live around Covington, Newport and Highland Heights while attending NKU. I'm just getting into bikepacking touring and I'm living about 45 minutes north of Cincinnati around Xenia. My first trip I want to do the Erie Trail and I'm just setting up my bike, a Kent Trevaille, that I'm upgrading considerably. Naturehike Cloud up 2 is a great tent. I'm not spending $4-500 on a small tent. Thats just crazy.
I have not had occasion to camp in it in strong winds in this tent, but as part of my search, I watched a UA-cam video where someone did and it seemed to hold up surprisingly well. The tent pole is well-engineered.
@@KentuckyCycling thanks a lot. Yes i have already seen a lot of videos with the cloud up 2 in the wind, but it were not the 10D. So would say that the wind resistance (poles and stability of the tent, calm behavior/ few movements) of the 10D should be similar or the same to the 20D version?
10D leaks in heavy or longer medium rain.Also water will gets in side by short sides in wind. 15D floor waterproof sides are too short. Rest that yellow fabric is just bid water and wind resistant. You will also need fix door by silicon. Tent is only good for dry and light showers summer camping.
Looks like a good low price, low weight tent. I have heard there is a condensation problem with some Naturehike tents. Please do a trip review. My Kelty gunnison 1 person have served me well for 10 years, but it’s time is nearly up.

is the 10D colder in cold conditions in comparison to the 20D cloud up?
I don't know as I haven't owned the the 20D. The 20D is a heavier material.
One year on and I cannot find the 10D anywhere, just the 20D or heavier, I opted for 20D but would have dove into the 10D for weight savings.
Too bad. Hopefully, it'll come back in stock at some point. Sill, the 20D is a good buy too.

You should check out the Bryce 2 person tent It's cheaper and better built and is lightweight

@@KentuckyCycling there has been also reported rainfly leaking in heavy rain on aliexpress buyer reviews.
Try sealing the seams with liquid silicone. Sometimes the factory forgets about that :)

I have used it on several trips now, without anything I would describe as a condensation issue. But, I do have the most lightweight version.
