Amazing tutorial. One odd thing though, I was getting unwanted bumpiness and jagged edges in my textures before adding a RS tag and enabling tessellation. Not a major issue but having followed the tutorial exactly as you did, I wonder why I was getting this issue and you weren't...

Thanks for all you do. Will Chad Ashley make the Arnold version?

You are the C4D masters!!! I have a little issue. I want to add some hairs to the ropes but its changes every frame and flick...do you know any solution??

I have an issue: when I add a material, texture starts twitching and glitching on rope while I start the animation. How can I fix that?

Great tutorial. I was wondering, does adjusting Exposure (EV) on Redshift lights instead of Intensity make a noticeable difference? I've always used Intensity, should I be using Exposure instead?

      @@Greyscalegorilla Horrible!
I had no idea that you would reply, sir.
Is there any way that I could have a little chat? Like, can I email you?
I'm a web developer learning 3D (C4D, Arnold), and in one word, I'm horrible at it (I'm learning and improving), but it's not looking good.
I have an idea for a short animation for my current company, but I'm not good enough yet!
I have no problem following the tutorial, but when I want to use this rope as part of my own idea, it gets complex.

The focus point is not placing correctly. The purple place tool is not showing in the scene. What could be wrong?

Hmmmm, not sure. Maybe something is in the way but hidden?

i am just giving my opinion that your all tutorial has only thing problem that is material part because most off the time you r using all paid materials from your material pack so peoples like me who have not purchased this type of material pack they cant able to use any type of material and and cant get better result like yours so we find or try to create other materials from somewhere if u add somme free materials in your assest browser then that would be great for everyone..🙂
