For those whose ropes dont move when you add the turbulence force, be sure to click the Rope tag on the Connect object, and under "Mix Animation" drag the Vertex Map you just created in to the "Map" box.

if someone has problems at the stage of rope simulation, then in
the Rope tag you needs to specify the vertex map that is on the helix.
(this step is skipped in the video)

i did it, but my ropes still dont move... it's like they re stock in yhe the grid not only in the vertex map

So Good! This is next level!! I won't say Houdini because then all the Houdini people are going to get angry.
Now if you play animation you will not get any result, but if you add any forces it still not moves. BUT if you put your vertex map tag to robe tag into the Map stroke, only then you will get your dynamic. It make you able to follow this tutorial.

If, like me, you get right to the end and your cloth just detaches from the grid/ropes, be sure to click Initialise on the 2nd Surface deformer ( the one under Grid Cloth Connector ).

my roopes doens't move at all,. i specify the vertex map in the rope simuòation but is like they re lock in the grid not only in the vertex map
i did all your moves exactley the same. but after "with pins ropes lose dynamics option even with 10000000000 turbulence power, but with no pin it falls down like it should.

why every one just thank autor? after i add vertex map tag and turn on with pins, then effectors cant effect ropes at all. WHY? and how can i fix that

i'm having problems with the cloth, i tried to download yours but the animation doesn't work, it's frozen in the base form and i can't make it work, how do i do?
Actually your problem might be in a different version of Cinema 4d, cause Maxons changed Cinema 2023 was used in this lesson
@@yasha_pyrkin Having upgraded to 2024, am seeing problems with all my previous setups for dynamics - Maxon seem to really not care about continuity.
To be specific - At the point of setting up the Mix Animation for the cloth, when I play the animation, the cloth jiggles out of control and detaches from the ropes/grid... Please let me know if you have any ideas to fix this.
I figured it out - you have to initialise the second Surface deformer ( the one under Grid Cloth ) - I think you missed this step.
