- The TWR Supercat is one of the first creations in the new era of the iconic Tom Walkinshaw Racing brand.
The Supercat is a carbon fibre-bodied 660BHP V12 GT car designed and built to be used on the road and on the race track. In this video, John Marcar meets the team behind TWR, including John Kane, Fergus Walkinshaw and Khyzyl Saleem, who all share their input on this incredible new car.

Love this! Yes, I want one! What a great reincarnation of the 70's/80's XJS. Well done TWR
@@Tristancars1 😎 get that order in!
Fabulous tribute to the TWR tradition with Jaguar.
Thanks, Michael, we absolutely agree!
Love the design! Perfection. This is what Jag should have done!!
We love it too. And it's come at a very interesting time for Jaguar's re-launch... that's for sure!
I was born in '71 so the wild Koenig specials and the like of the 80's still resonate with me. This is an interesting design, pretty wild and yet elegant. That's not an easy mix to pull off. The interior is gorgeous and who wouldn't love a supercharged V12? TWR seem to have a small but great team. I hope they sell all 88 examples. I'd certainly be a customer if I had the means!
Glad you enjoyed it! It certainly gives off Koenig vibes for sure.
My neighbour has a TWR s 1990. The sound of the engine is peachy
In these days of fanciful brand relaunches ( Jag) it's worth remembering that the British car industry has had and still has some of the best ideas in the world
This car is for the Individual , which is good enough for me....Show stopping looks , unique , exotic , sounds excellent , then we have 660 brake v12 Supercharged. Ye....Decent !
We also had the luxury of hearing it run and rev (sadly not on a day we were able to film it) and it sounded SPECTACULAR!
I’m really not sure about the body kit and selling 88 examples looks a tall order to me. Interior is gorgeous.
This is how you make a flagship sports car with a MANUAL (and no F@#$@#$ V6 engine OR front wheel drive), Chevrolet, Lexus, Nissan, Cadillac, and Honda.
It looks like it was designed by those who designed the Civic type R
Interesting take. So, do you like it?
@@driven.videos NOT AT ALL, it's TOO much
Whaaatttt, this car is beautiful @@mrcgv
That's so strange I could swear in xjs has two Hood releases
@@aliengoth this car only shares a few parts with the original car (front and rear scuttle panels and the glass) everything else is new parts.
The bulging creased fender treatment ruins this design. Ugh.
Not digging the design but love that TWR is back.
