One of the prettiest Supercars ever. Saw the original V12 6.0 prototype as a small child (crawling between peoples legs at Birmingham NEC Motorshow). Then many years later I sat in a show car at the local Jaguar dealer, finally seeing the race car win its class at Le Mans in ‘93. If I won the lottery this would definitely be on my list! 😅😊
agreed that its the best looking supercar ever. Some complain that this should have been V12 and AWD but if it had it would have been 200kg heavier and had 100bhp less! Plus look at the Ferrari F40, that doesn`t sound particularly nice and is way slower than the XJ220.
@@richardhammer187 I very much doubt that. I know enough to make a living getting flown to locations around the world to diagnose and fix cars that span a very large age period. If I remember correctly (doubtful...) on that top gear test they said that if it was only a little bit wider, it would need a police escort. When top gear was about cars.
Back in approx 1996 or something I had cause to attend a local garage with my work in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
