    I really enjoy this pattern, however; it would help if you could slow down on the end of the pattern to show exactly what you are doing. Some of us that are still learning how to read a pattern and I find it a bit confusing. Especially, the first row. When you get to the star to do 3 dc in the next chain, then it says to last 10 chain. Does that mean the last 10 chains on the first row? So when you turn to do the second row, do you skip the first dc? If I might suggest that instead of referring everyone to your pattern when they have questions, maybe you can show those areas in your tutorial.

    • @CrochetJewel
      @CrochetJewel  3 роки тому +1

      here is the pattern, www.amyscrochetpatterns.com/2019/10/double-crochet-ripple-stitch-afghan.html
      I take in account that I have many beginners watching my videos. I have been making videos for 7 years now. I have a video that shows how to place your video in slow motion to help beginners, ua-cam.com/video/v20BQakmeIY/v-deo.html
      I suggest you go to the pattern and read it. It says end 3 dc in back loop of next dc, 1 dc in back loop of each of next 9 dc, leaving last stitch unworked, ch 1, turn.

      @@CrochetJewel When you get to the end of the first row, you turn your work and chain one. I get that much, what I don't understand is do you skip a double crochet, (like for instance start in the second chain from the hook). I do appreciate the advice of slowing down the video however, I really wanted to see how you started the second row.

    Hi! This is my first time making a blanket and I’m following along with this + the pattern instructions on your site, and it’s turning out beautifully. Thank you for sharing this!
    I was confused about part of the pattern though - on your site you say “I did 6 sets of 4 rows of each color which is 4 inches for each 4 rows of each color. So the dimensions 12 inches x 6 sets = 68 inches or you can do less”. Where did the 12 inches measurement come from?
    Thank you very much for any help you can give me :-)
