This is beautiful to make as a gift so get crocheting for Christmas as this is wonderful as a large blanket or wrap even a scarf to give as a loving gift.
Hello from Ohio in the US! The is the very best Chevron tutorial out there! I've tried many times to make a zig zag blanket and failed, but now I finally get it! Thank you!🧶
I cannot thank you enough! I have crocheted my entire life and this pattern always gave me a headache I have over the past few days tried so many versions and my sides were always off grrrrrr you can imagine my joy when I followed your extremely easy and well explained version it WORKED! Thank you
Lovely! Ripple afghans always make me smile! I think it's time for me to make one - again! My first afghan was the ripple pattern, in the popular fall colors of the mid '60s. I got about half of it done before moving to California. I In that move, the hook I was using disappeared. That was how I learned the hard lesson that I need to always note on a pattern the hook size!
Hi alison what a beautiful pattern another one for my to do list excellent tutorial as always hope you and cute muttley are well kind regards Susan 😄🥰🥰💗💗🦴🦴🦴👍👍
Thank you! Your explanation of this stitch is just perfect!! After watching the video, I figured out what I was doing wrong!!! I’ve tried several times to do the ripple stitch- but always ended up frogging the mess!! Now I finally get it!! Thanks again!! 😊
Thank you Alison I love your blanket .. I think it will be perfect for my granddaughter’s new den .. I’m looking forward to getting it started … jean x
Beautiful pattern - it will look awesome in any color!! I am beginning this one right now in Magenta color. Thank you for the fantastic video Alison!! ❤️
Hi Alison beautiful stitch, when you do the second row of treble crochet's are the stitches supposed to line up with those on the bottom row? I have started this today and will continue tomorrow as I'm a little tired. So I will watch ahead on the video where you do the next bunch of stitch. Thank you.
Thank you so much 🧶 have struggled with this pattern in the past with uneven sides …… but with your wonderful help I now have lovely even sides …… Thank you and happy crocheting 🧶
Oh ! Alison, your pattern gave me so much trouble. I tried and tried again to no avail. As I came to quit, I listen to you once more, especially at 2:09/2:47; there were my two main problems: 1) Information given to use a DC ( Double Crochet ) yet a Single Crochet (SC) is used 2) Shown are 3 chain-stitches , yet 2 chain-stitches are required with a SC. / Here is the good news: I succeeded, just as the sea-coral sample shown on your video. Mille mercis, Alison, I wanted that design since such a long time. Back to Crochet Chevron Zig Zag now.
