KAHLIL Doucette, 27, from Canada, lost over 200lbs after being overweight her whole life. Her highest weight was 420lbs and she decided to have VSG after her mum cried when she came home for the holidays. Kahlil told Truly: "I was told I wasn't going to live past 40." She had to drastically change her lifestyle. The content creator took control of her life and changed her eating habits and decided to join a gym. She is now thriving in life and she documents her progress on social media.

PLEASE trust me when I say that if you start eating regular again and not follow your Sleeve diet, your stomach WILL stretch back out. I worked for the leading bariatric surgery center in the states and way more than half of our patients gained all the weight back. You’re killing it! ❤️💪🏼
YES! I had it done. I was only mildly noncompliant with the rules. After less than a year it felt as if my stomach size was back to pre-surgery size. Plus in the US I had to pay for my surgery cash/out of pocket.

I weighed 150kgs in March and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. In Australia bariatric surgery is not covered by our health system so I was devastated. However after hearing all the failed sleeve surgeries I did it the natural way. Today I’m 80kgs and in my normal weight range. I can’t eat junk food anymore it actually makes me feel sick ! Lol I don’t want to be obese ever again!

No its not. I am definetely able to eat that much on very festive days like christmas and Im not fat. But definetely its not my regular
they must have something wrong with brain to not feel pain, if i overeat i hurt
a pack of oreos is like 1800 calories. its very doable with soda and burger:
You wouldn’t necessarily have to eat a lot of food, just very high calorie food. A quarter pounder with cheese, large fries and large Coke at McDonalds is almost 1,400 calories. A sausage egg and cheese biscuit combo at McDonalds is over 700 calories. And none of that high carb high sugar food keeps you satiated for long, so you’re hungry again before you know it. If you’re snacking on candy and drinking soda all day then you can do the math.

See I usually only ever see people that turn stick thin and sickly looking after surgery, she looks great! I'm going on the public wait list too, as I have arthritis, scoliosis & nerve pain from herniated discs, exercise is so painful for me so I've stacked the weight on. Which makes all the pain worse! It's a vicious cycle. 😫

I REALLY wish this channel would stop doing videos on people who used surgery to lose the weight. NOT because it's easy, it's NOT, but because it's just not a healthy way to lose the weight and the surgery can have devastating effects on people. I know, I work in a hospital that treats people from those adverse effects, people with malnutrition, major depressive disorder, lifelong stomach and digestive problems, etc. DO NOT have this surgery. I've had problems with weight, too, but I would never take that chance. Natural weight loss, medication assisted, etc, but stop with the surgery videos, please.
