This is definitely the best weight loss story I've ever heard! Not only did she get herself healthy but her changes led to her husband & sons also getting healthy.
The thing is - Doctors CAN'T HELP. We have to make these lifestyle changes ourselves in the end, and keep at it every day. You look amazing, but even more inspiring and impressive is your follow through and love for your family!
this is so true Doctors can't help someone that doesn't want the help. one of the things my doctor said to me was ill help you, but you got to help yourself also. we figured out what was wrong with my heart. got it fixed. and then i started my journey. from 340lbs I am now down to 240lbs. and it was just old fashion lifestyle changes. cutting my calories so I'm at a deficit no more junk food no more fried food. no more overeating. no cakes or cookies. no refine sugar. Mondays Wednesday Fridays 50+min intense walk and weight training. Tuesday Thursday Saturday and Sunday 50+min intense walk and about 45min Yoga. if I'm tight on time the 50+min walk gets cut and turn into a 30min Jog. but the biggest change was and is how and what I eat. I don't do any specific diet like Keto or anything i just make sure it's as healthy as it can be.

Proud of this woman for being the change she wanted to see for her family and for choosing a healthier life! You can already see the impact it's made on her children. And she looks amazing! THIS is the kind of body positivity that needs to be the popular trend online! We need to encourage HEALTH and fighting to live a longer life! So many "fat positive influencers" are starting to die and it will be alarming to see in the coming years how the body positivity community has affected the majority of people that fall into that delusional type of thinking. Knowing that obesity leads to an earlier death _isn't fatphobic,_ it's reality!
i understand the struggles of weight loss. i've been there - excess weight putting a strain on my heart. i felt overwhelmed, unsure where to start. but, my journey with Aspect Health allowed me to lose weight safely. i made dietary adjustments, focused on physical activity, and adopted stress-management techniques, resulting in improved heart health and increased energy levels. i'm grateful for my vibrant life today.
The surgery is not cheating. It's difficult to teach yourself to eat small meals and there are foods that make you sick so you probably won't eat them again because your stomach cannot handle it. And if you are not careful you can eventually over eat and gain it all back. I know cause my friend went through all of it. Congratulations to her for her succes!!
My heaviest is 212. I'm down 10 pounds after deciding to start the new year healthier. I've added fruits, veggies, and more protein and limiting how much fast food I eat. I have done two weeks no fast food. I'll never be an athlete but walking every day before work is probably helping too. Stories like this show me it's possible!
You look incredible. Good for you. Screw all the people who said they couldn’t help you. You showed them and you did what you needed to for yourself and your family. Good on you

Congratulations on conquering the fast food trap. I'm still struggle. At puberty, and due to home traumas I started gaining wieght. I was born skinny and was very active in my grade school days being a tomboy, climbing trees roller skating whatever a poor child can do to burn energy. Then puberty struck and so did my alcholic stepfather. I began gaining weight, sneaking food, especially surgary food, etc by my 16th year I weighed 136 which may seem like not much but I'm a petite person and my food cravings and home abuses werent slowing down. It wasn't until I attempted to end things, obviously unsuccessfully that my mindset had slowly started to change. I had no control over my life so without a conscious decision, I began restricting my food intake. Small changes at first, no one noticed. Then much larger changes until I would completely forget to eat. I was getting a lot of compliments on my weight loss, I worked a parttime job and bought my first pair of prescription eyeglasses. All these changes werre getting some positive reactions outside the home, but not in it. Back then we didn't even know what anorexia was. I had a very sensitive stomach and could get nauseated very easily but I was bulimic, I had just stopped eathing. So, I had gotten down to 105 and then a teacher, the one that congratulated sort of took me aside and said and I'm paraphrasing "You look great, but I really think you need to slow down a bit on the weightle loss. Maybe eat a little bit more. " Or something like that. So, I was able to move out and my weight settle in at around 120 for several years. Then I got married, had my son. I had gotten up to 185 the day of the birth. I lost 58 pounds two weeks after delivery and I nursed my son back into my 120 weight. So, why am I sitting here at 221 and 65 years old? Extreme stress and not being able to find a psychologist or psych that I could trust. I've found that most would rather hear themselves talk, anyway. I had to have some dental work done, discovered really too late that my son's father was an opiod addict and alcoholic. My picker was very broken. It was put to me pills or needles in the eye. Stupid me, I went for the pills first. Before this, I had only taken mydol for pains. So I'm on this course of steroids, my eye disease is aleviating but my weight has shot up to 175. Less than two weeks another flair another 15 pounds. Then i went for the needles in the eyes. This drastically relieved my eye disease, but there was zero help from these doctors to help me get back down to 125. In creased depression and some meds stuck the weight on me. A few short years later I was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer. more surgeries and chemo. The chemo, for me had an added benefit. My with had dropped to 155. I survived, obviously, tests were run and it was discovered I have a faulty immune system. One serious immune system failure and compromise after another over the yeaers. Some serious drug treatment side effects and I find myself blurting out my issues with weight on this lovely ladies success story. My sincere apologies. If you read my story this far, thank you for sticking with it. Maybe 2024 I will find my inner anorexic again.
I think your story is one that so many of us can relate to,on one level or another.. You're never too old or too big to make changes in your life.. It honestly sounds like you need to address your traumas and in doing so,the motivation for change will come.. You know better than most that it only takes small steps to make big strides and I believe in you!! If you're not seeing a therapist, you should consider it and possibly seek out a support group, there are plenty that are free.. I'm so sorry that you've gone through so much but bulimia is just another coping mechanism that isn't healthy and does nothing to address why the weight is there in the first place, but you know that! Don't let your weight send you out of this, miserable and sick.. Leave on your own terms and due to old age, healthy and fabulous! Yes sugar is an enemy but it's carbs that need to be the main focus, and just typing that gave me pause because carbs taste so damn good, but they aren't good to the body.. Just cutting back on them and doing small bits of exercise will get you going in the right direction.. I'm willing to be a support if you need me.. You can do it,the right way!! ❤️
@@whispermcgaughy7251 - That's really very kind of you. I've been trying for decades to get a good psychologist and support group. I on the search again, right now. No luck. What an inspiration ❤. I've been on my fitness journey for the past 5 months, and I've been working out 5 days a week. I feel so much better and no more neck pain or stomach cramps🙂
What a wonderful story ^.^ I have lost over 200lbs so I totally get it. It truly is life changing. Yes I had weightloss surgery back in 2018, but that is because everything else I tried had failed. When it comes down to life or death... I chose life. No matter how I get there, I am still here BECAUSE of the choice I made to have surgery. BEST decision I've ever made in my life :) Just wish I did it 20 years ago lol. (I'm now 48 and weigh less than I did when I was 11 lol). I have been morbidly obese my entire life! Highest weight was 392lbs!!! I am finally LIVING for the first time in my entire life :)
Weight loss surgery is NOT for the faint of heart! It's a huge commitment and testament to your strength that you were able to make that change stick long term.
Wow, kudos to you, honey!! What an amazing transformation and great example you have set for your family. Being overweight as a child is just setting yourself for complications as an adult..better to nip it in the bud while they're younger and instill those healthy lifestyle changes in them. You look incredible and your family is adorable...Keep up the good work!
Your whole family is awesome and I love how your son is so knowledgeable about the food you all were eating and how enthusiastic they are in the support for good nutrition. You all are rock stars in my book!!!
She’s 💯 right, surgery is not a cure/solution. You have to change your entire lifestyle. A friend of my sisters had it and gained it all back and then some. That goes for Ozempic etc. it’s a weight loss aid not a weight loss solution.
I was 162 at my heaviest and very petite body frame 5'0. I am now 110. 50 lbs is a lot when you're so tiny! I still want to get down to 98 lbs at my smallest. This is inspiring to me!! You Go, Beautiful!! So Awesome!! 🎉❤🥰
@jessicar.8333 At first, I went on any diet I could think of. I have even done a popsicle diet lol. Ya dumb, didn't last. I did the hcg diet only lost a few pounds and nearly starved on that one. I did the gym and worked out as best as I could but it just wasn't coming off even took those over the counter water weight pills and other diet pills and did gnc and took hydroxycut before they realized just how bad it was! It sped up my heart and made me feel I was gonna have a heart attack! I had two problems really. One was I had taken depo Provera shot and I had done 3 shots. That stuff changes your metabolism and your hormones so you completely stop your period. It did to me so I wasn't cleansing my body naturally at all. Even when I stopped it didn't come back. I had gained too much weight. And Second problem was I took a lot of pain pills because of the pain and I already had horrible digestion problems so this only added to it. So I was backed up bad. I finally did the right thing for my body and saw a dietitian. He put me on hydrochloriothiazide and phendametrazine. Both worked with my body. Yes they can cause issues but at the time I was so desperate. This helped me to get my period back and I lost the weight like that. Now yes some people will go back up to their weight once they stop if they don't change their diet too. My dietitian helped with a eating plan and I learned a lot from him. I don't take those pills any more and I haven't been back up past even 115 in so long. I'm usually 110-112 depending on my period days. I keep it off myself now and I'm stricter with my dieting and I do my own Ab workouts. I may one day go back to the gym or the ymca but for now, what I do is working for Me. I take a lot of supplements and I do mean a lot but I have to for my vitamin deficiency! People wouldn't think of it to look at me but I don't have the greatest genetics in the world! I have to work for what I have but in the end I feel it's worth the journey! I hope find what works for you and never give up. Even in my hardest times, when I was so desperate I was pleading to get liposuction because I just wanted it out and they told me I had to gain weight even at my high weight for my insurance to cover it. I will never forget. Yes the hmo's do fail us, but we can all overcome without them in the end! The less we need them the better I say, cause we can show our own strength and it's more powerful than anything they have to offer! Hope this helped you! I will be thinking of you and keeping good thoughts for you!! You Got This, so Shine on!! xx 🌟🤩
Good for anyone who is fortunate enough to afford weight loss surgery. But I'm always looking for motivation from people who have lost all their weight naturally without any surgery.
Natural weight loss is the way. This is a quick fix but long term you just crippled your digestive system and removed most of the organ that digests your life sustaining fuel. Looking skinny on the outside doesn't mean healthy on the inside.
Same, if you are not 600+ pounds and close to death soon I don't think surgery is the answer. You still have time to lose it all naturally, I am losing by portion control and avoiding lots of carbs, more exercise
Good for her. My husband and i have both had gastric bypass surgery. His heaviest was 555 pounds and i was 450 . 10 years later he is 350 and i am 215 we have kept it off . The skin removal surgery we will never do they have to cut us in half remove the skin and stitch us back together again. The cost is ridiculous. I will say if they did it for a discounted price maybe we would do it. The skin could be donated to burn victims so it would not be going to waste. The other thing holding us back is the fact we have animals that depend on us and fur and surgery really don't mix. I am so happy for this woman and her family.
@@marilynwillett804 Yes indeed we have kept the weight off . Recently we were able to get our trulisity (once a week shot) iI am now down to 200 and he is now 301 it is crazy how much that shot is helping.
Thank you for sharing your story! My goal is to release 150 extra pounds. I have let go of 77 pounds already. I’m doing celery juice, other vegetable juices, green smoothies and plant based organic foods. Medical conditions find me challenged to walk, but doing yoga daily. And praying! 🙏 Definitely need God’s help!🕊️🛐😇✝️🙌
I’m not saying that weight loss surgery isn’t hard, I know it requires discipline. But I’m honestly more inspired by people who have lost a lot of weight naturally without having a portion of their stomach removed. Also why did they make her open up all those cookies and snack cakes just for this video lmao
Love that you are still humble and that’s makes you more beautiful from inside to outside -what a inspiration you are- and beautiful family too- I got at surgery when I was 45 now 59 - but like you say it’s a help but your not safe, we always have to be careful with our food, sorry if I used the wrong words-i did my best 😊i am from Denmark- 🇩🇰 sending good luck to you and your family ❤
That you feel that way (that Dr's don't care) makes me want to cry. I hope it's not true, maybe find another doctor to support you, and become aware of what your bad habits are doing to you. If you need a psychologist, please, please seek help. Whitney didn't expand on why, but the fact she mentioned it must be testament to its impact. YOU CAN DO THIS. 😊 And maybe one day we can find you on TRULY!
What an incredible transformation! 🤩 She's beautiful inside and out. Well spoken! Love how the entire family supported her. She influenced her family to change too. I love this! 🥰
Unlike bariatric surgery, weight lost from extended-fasting results in little loose skin because the protein within the skin is recycled. One also avoids possible complications and death from the procedure. That stated, good job, mom.
Wow how amazing your inner strength focus and dedication are really a commendable for yourself and for doing it also for your family you can be very very proud of yourself you look magnificent
Thank you for sharing your video. We watched from start to finish. It was nice the whole family were in agreement to eat healthy and clean. We Love your honesty and how you asked your children their true feelings about your weight. It's clear they understood your desire to decrease your over weight and include your family as a team. You and your family are beautiful ..💕
Good for you. Which is better. You gained your own self control and discipline. If they had help You. You may have pick the weight back up without the discipline. God bless you.
Ironic that if she hadn't gotten the weight loss surgery & kept going on her own she wouldn't have needed the skin removal surgery because her skin could've kept up with weight loss but whtevs. Glad she got there one way or the other. And for any naysayers, i used to be 300 lbs & lost 150 & never needed skin removal surgery or a tummy tuck soooo 🤙🏻

Being overweight as a child is just setting yourself for complications as an adult..better to nip it in the bud while they're younger and instill those healthy lifestyle changes in them. You look incredible and your family is adorable...Keep up the good work!
Congratulations ❤
it is great when one starts to change the family follows. Unlike other toxic families
Wow, everybody is so proud of you
Your Kids and Partner have a Mom who will be a round a lot longer now
Your whole family is awesome and I love how your son is so knowledgeable about the food you all were eating and how enthusiastic they are in the support for good nutrition. You all are rock stars in my book!!!
She’s 💯 right, surgery is not a cure/solution. You have to change your entire lifestyle. A friend of my sisters had it and gained it all back and then some. That goes for Ozempic etc. it’s a weight loss aid not a weight loss solution.
Exactly!
Beyond proud of this mama! She literally saved her kids lives
What an awesome Mom & role model ❤️
I was 162 at my heaviest and very petite body frame 5'0. I am now 110. 50 lbs is a lot when you're so tiny! I still want to get down to 98 lbs at my smallest. This is inspiring to me!! You Go, Beautiful!! So Awesome!! 🎉❤🥰
What did you do?
You Got This, so Shine on!! xx 🌟🤩
Thank God she got it all together when the kids were young, very inspirational. And no that surgery is not easy, is another whole set of issues
This was a FABULOUS transformation! It was even more amazing that her family supported her journey AND improved their lifestyle as well.
Love this ❤
family didn't have weight-loss surgery so does show there all in it together x
Good for you ! Very inspiring ❤
Strong woman, taking good care of herself and her family. Ans she seems lovely too.
Changing a bad diet is effing priceless 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good job mom, for saving your life and the life of your family. You are truly inspiring. God Bless 🌻🌻🌻
Omg shes so amazing, helping herself and her whole family
I'm glad she improved her kids diet.
You go girl 🎉
WAY TO GO!!! You look amazingly fabulous!!❤
Good on you... champion woman, wife & mum..🌹
gorgeous family..bless you all..🙏
What an awesome and inspirational family!
Congratulations for the hard work ❤❤❤❤ love it 😍
This is a pretty incredible story and transformation.
you look absolutely amazing, and that fact that the whole family have joined you in becoming healthy is really wonderful.
Congratulations on your weight loss
It’s such an inspiration for me. After 15 moths, I lost only 14lbs. Losing weight is not easy.
Could be something hormonal. I saw a doctor and that was my issue. Now I’m a healthy 5’7 140 with muscle and natural curves. Hang in there 💜💜
Good for her.
10 years later your husband is 350. and you are 215.
Amazing woman with an amazing family❤
positive video..she looks gorgeous with her family
Her whole family looks better. I guess it is all about lifestyle and not "genetics"...
Awww God bless you!!!
Congratulations to you and your family! And thank; you for the inspiration.
Great job and very encouraging
I feel like the doctors don't care about my weight gain. I am going to try my best this year. I needed this video.
What a legend 👊
Good for you! I have a lot less to lose but it's always inspiring
❤ Such an amazing transformation ❤
i am so proud oof you !!!!! It is very hard to lose weight ,but you made the right choice, especially for your children !
Dayum she looks AMAZING!!! ✨
Thank you for sharing, great success story!
You are such an inspiration to all!! 🎉🎉
More of these kinds of stories pleaseeeee!
Did you have any surgeries, such as a tummy tuck or breast lift?
YOU GO TRULY🎉🎉🎊🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊
Wow how amazing your inner strength focus and dedication are really a commendable for yourself and for doing it also for your family you can be very very proud of yourself you look magnificent
Your children are lovely.
You don't need all the filters and makeup, you look good as you are!
Keep it up guys, please get those fresh steamed veges happening as well. Congratulations. 😊😊
You go girl
You look great! Congrats
Feel good story 😊
This is real body positive ❤❤
So proud 👏 yay!
I also lost 100 pounds did a new change as well feel great😅
0:49 1:30 Meanwhile, she prepares frozen, high-calorie, unhealthy foods and sweet cookies with fatty sauce
AMAZING!🩷
What a wonderful, inspiring family. I wish you health and happiness.
Great Job!!!!!!
great job!
Congratulations you look great ❤
Amazing transformation! So proud of her for doing that especially for her kids to grow up healthy and confident!
Great inspiration 👍❤️
