14:15 dropping the ball on the "master of pull out"!
I made a tool to lock the inner and outer hubs together to assist tightening the big central shaft bolt to spec. I got two old friction plates and an old steel plate and drilled several holes through them and screwed them together making sure they are lined up right as to allow them to go temporarily back in the clutch assembly. Then when this is put back in the clutch basket these joined disks will now lock the two inner and outer baskets together. Made it a bit easier to tighten the nut if you don't have the correct tool. (just don't zip the bike back up with these joined plates still in it! )
you are the only godamn person that actually went past the hub. thanks man, i had a fucking bolt broken off in one of the female threads for the spring bolts (got the bike cheap for a reason of course).. I appreciate your videos, this is all new to me and im just starting to say fuck it and doing it myself and ur channel has helped me actually do it and be able to spot other issues. thanks bro!!!

My 2009 zx6r is doing something weird.
When I downshift from 3rd to 2nd gear it goes into neutral. It's as if it's skipping second gear. My oil in the bike is still fresh and was changed a thousand miles ago. Does this mean I need a new clutch or is it a different issue????
