Honestly RimWorld was one of the best purchases I've made and these expansions are things I don't even consider waiting for sales for.

I'm amazed rimworld is still getting updates
We can only hope that with more support throughout the future that it one day could approach Dwarf Fortress in it's complexity.
But that could take decades.
I hope it keeps receiving updates for years to come, the possibilities with this game are almost limitless.
@@lordhefman I'm not super familiar with the intricacies of dwarf fortress, but there's no way in hell it can keep up with a modded rimworld playthrough.
@@TheDwarvenGameing I am pretty sure dwarf fortress is impossible to beat in actual complexity although it has the most simple graphics.
Like a bug caused bars to be filled with dead cats because they stepped over spilled alcohol and licked their paws, consuming the alcohol in the process, but a false value made the alcohol much more than it should be so the cats OD and die.
Not to mention the amount of content and creatures and world generation. It would take tons of work to model all of that.
Though they are modelling it for a Steam release with better graphics than ASCII

If it had multi-core support and could run a colony of 100 people buttery smooth, as well as integrated functionality for your very own controllable NPC faction, so I could role-play a literal army, and play a real time strategy game / grand strategy game inside of RimWorld, then yes, it would probably be the perfect game.
Because you could go to any level, from that of solo survival, to a small RPG party, to a colony of 20 or so people, sedentary or nomadic, right up to a veritable nation, where you choose who to focus on as your core group or main character, and treat the rest more or less as subordinates.
Rimworld still lacks that bigger scope strategy layer for me.
Rocket man or rim threaded really help with performance, I highly recommend either of those mods!

Will be honest - Royalty seemed really uninteresting to me. But this one? Oh boy am I excited to try it (and see what modders can do with it)!
I used to feel the same, but watchin Francis John on youtube convinced me otherwise, just because of how much stuff normally ends up being neglected in Royalty when we start playing it.
@@ghysling Yeah, I looked it being played too. And it seems like made for a very specific gameplay style, which just seems not for me. Last thing I needed in my colonies, was extra layer of bureaucracy... The magic looks kinda cool, but nothing that mods didn't do and better.
Ideology, on the other hand, looks (will see how it works out) like something for any kind of gameplay - you want your "vanilla" space cowboys experience, Dune-style world, play as tribals or as Cthulhu-worshipers? It fits with anything!

This dlc is so good it made Royalty better the interaction with this mod and Royalty are sex

These arent cars, they are shuttles used by Royalty
The Vehicle Framework mod is coming. It's close to a barebones release version. It will have customizable ground vehicles, naval craft and aircraft. After that, we should see integration with Save Our Ship 2, and even a Vanilla Vehicles Expanded.

Rimworld is the type of a game, where gameplay is better than it was shown in trailer.

It's one of the coolest trailer l've ever seen. You can feel Fear and Coolness at the same time, and the content is so vast and amazing. What an incredible job
This literally the greatest game ever created.
It has such a strong cult following among us fans but I think people don't realize how amazing the game actually is. It's absolutely one of the best games ever made imo.

@@hhh-kh8ec im not so sure about that there is a mod called rimthreaded which does just that and it is a huge and i mean HUUUUGE improvement, but it doesnt play nice with other mods sadly. i dont understand why he built rimworld without multithreading, for a dwarf fortress style colony simulator such a feature is essential, because even with very high end pcs the game will struggle to run at 1x speed in the late game, which makes the game a lot less fun and sometime makes me quit because i know reaching my end goal would litterally take days at that speed.
Tynan and Ludeon continuing to surprise with these sorts of things. This is a really interesting update, keep it up!

@@DavidAkhter I mean I pretty much used to be a muslim so I do know my fair share but the reason im talking about Islam isnt to make fun of it, criticize or anything. This isn't the place for it. Its just pretty based for him to add Islam, Christianity etc. Plus he has added autobongs and stuff too. You can have fun games where you pretend to be the Hashashins and smoke Hashish for example.

I am pretty sure that most of the other game developers and studios that don't make historical games would avoid putting such things into their games in order to avoid controversy.
