@Prince Otter2 i pirate games a lot too because im poor and cant afford them. i could just get game keys and buy them very cheap but thats not really a good solution either, since most game keys on sites like g2a come from stolen money, so i preffer to pirate and buy what i love when i can actually get it from the developer cheap, like on a good sale
This game is something special, and we'll be talking about it fondly in the next few decades like we do the classics of old.

Honestly, I didn't think this game could get any more special than it already was. And then I spent 4 hours playing this new DLC. Boy was I wrong and I'm loving every minute of it!

I'm glad this game takes ideas from mods (hopefully with the mod creators permission) and make it into a stable, vanilla version unlike other games. The best mods deserve to be immortalized within the game

To be fair if I made a mod and the devs liked it so much that they felt it belonged in the game as a proper feature I'd be 100% on board

You know, usually I'm grumpy about DLC. But you've been such a good sport and made such a nice product that, you deserve my thumbs up. (And my money)
DLC, when done right, is a great thing. The problem today is AAA publishers just see DLC as a way to tax players that have already invested in the base game, instead of as a way to offer new, meaningful content.
DLCs are awesome when it comes from indie games since its a nice way of developing a game while also making money. The problem is, well, AAA companies that just releases DLC as an easy cashgrab rather than an expansion
I think DLC is perfectly valid if they make it AFTER the game releases, rather than some of the crap AAAs pull and have like Day-1 DLC horse shit. It's no different from the expansion packs of old.

@@dragonslayer440 According to the Steam page, that's actually a mechanoid base. Royals will give colonies the task of destroying them, they seem to have things like alarms and factories and other defences, so it'll be a nice change from normal sieges where the raiders just banzai charge into a firing line. But yeah, apparently a new sniper mechanoid is being added with this, so I'm sure they'll still slaughter my precious colonists with ease.

Can confirm. The pikeman mechanoids can outclass a level 20 shooter with a charge lance. You will need melee to take it down without losing anyone

wow this looks amazing! the modding community never ceases to amaze me! also the fact you got voice actors for this trailer is insane as it's so professionally done! you should be very proud of this mod and this trailer! i got the game recently but just discovered the beauty of the steam workshop so when i get home i'm going to download a bunch of mods and this is the first one i'm going to grab 😊

I have heard that Royal asses are quite soft. Going to be some high quality leather made out of that stuff.
I've only had the opportunity to play this for about 4 hours. It is absolutely amazing, and I'm only playing on base builder difficulty. I'm having so much fun with these new mechanics, it just blows my mind!

My favorite detail about this is that the shuttle right at the end sounds like it has a V8 enginge or something like that under the hood (which in the ganes canon, probably is the case).
Never get tired of this game!
