ZBrushCore VS ZBrush : Which is right for you?

So you're thinking of trying out ZBrush digital sculpting software as part of your jewelry sculpting and object fabrication pipeline but you're not sure if you should try ZBrush Core or jump into ZBrush. Core is easier to use and less expensive but ZBrush has more tools. What to do? In this video ZBrush Jewelry Workshop instructor Eric Keller does a face off battle between ZBrush Core and ZBrush to demonstrate the differences between the two options. For this demo Eric sculpted the same original ring design twice, once in ZBrush Core and again in ZBrush. The video is edited and narrated so that you can see both options in action and make a comparison. It's impossible to show off every single difference while sculpting a project but this demo should give you a very good sense of what you can do. Since it's Eric Keller, the ring is going to have an insect theme. This time he's sculpting a praying mantis themed ring. Enjoy!

Im interested in software to help me out with models and sculpts for digital work in Unreal Engine but also for doing models for printing and physical production. You say you did a lot of work in Maya and Blender in the past, do you have to refer to these programs for you work or are you using ZBrush for everything?

Zbrush is already a great program. There is no competitor on the market that can compete with Core and Core mini.
