Amblypygid Ring | Part 1

In this video Eric Keller describes his design process for creating a pair of wedding bands. The design is a special request for a ring that depicts a rather obscure arachnid known as a Tailless Whipscorpion (Amblypygid) along with the four Galilean moons of Jupiter. In part 1 of this series Eric discusses the background for the design, the reference he used, and how he uses his knowledge of the arachnid's anatomy as part of the design.

Quick correction: I was mistaken when I said that the tailless whipscorpion (Amblypigid) injects venom into its prey. In reality they are not venomous which means they really are not dangerous to people... they just look scary AF.
