God I wish I could hear this song for the first time again. It's still one of my favorites, but there's nothing like hearing it for the first time.
The first time I heard it was when one of my 8th grade drill team members wanted to use it for her competition solo. I can still see her on stage, after I calmed her tears and fears of never being good enough. It's hard to listen to the song now. She was killed in a wreck almost nine years ago. She was just twenty-one.

Amy is one of the most underrated vocalists. She's a powerhouse and deserves all the credit.
That's because she's a female rock singer, they never get the credit they deserved, if she did pop it would be different, thank god she has stay true to her essence.

That entire album was an emotional rollercoaster ride, you felt drained after listening to it.

I remember when this song first came out. In all my life, I've never heard a song more requested on radio stations. I swear, every station was playing this, and they'd play it about every 2nd song. If a station started playing a different song, all you had to do was go to another station to hear it. And this went on for a long, long time. People just could not get enough of it. When you said it was insane, that's the perfect description.
This was my favourite song is 7th grade....my parents thought I was going through an emo phase b/c I kept playing it over and over and over again
I was a freshman in college and people thought the same thing about me. I'd be blasting this CD, Three Doors Down, Nickelback, Green Day... I just love all kinds of music.

(You probably know this already but) This song was in the soundtrack to 'Daredevil' movie. I immediately tracked it down and bought it when the movie came out. I played it every day for weeks - sounds great in the car. I get chills and goosebumps in my hair follicles every time i hear this. Her heartbreaking ballad is incredible over the heavy metal background with a spectacular arrangement. My favorite song that summer! And you brought back the joy for me. Glad you can appreciate this..

Floor can definitely sing and her range is absolutely amazing and beats Amy's range, but Amy's timbre has my heart. It's what makes other artists (even with larger vocal ranges) fall short for me. I don't care as much with how high or low someone can sing or how perfectly they can hit a series of notes, if their timbre sounds mehh to me, I won't listen to them.
