so lets say this *1sttimereact* for argument sake, just a debate become an old fan of the series and you.. "snape loved lily more than friend, but sadly lily never reciprocated the same feeling towards snape, she basically friendzone here nothing more of less.. james, sirius lupin and snape were bitter rivals even until the time of their deaths(imma say this though and this my theory and speculation: "do you remember both in the book and the movie snape was seen first at number 12 grimmald place at the meeting with the order?' i believe snape gave them the heads up, hell have die and switch sides in order to "force harry" to grow up..(unbeknowest to harry, ron and hermoine amongst others)
yes harry went through emotional trauma calling snape out in the great hall with minera and others there(personal opinion even harry was illogicially emotional drive harry no right to say what he felt against snape, to ridiculed like that) this was 20 year old plan and most of them, especially the adults knew they wasnt coming back after the battle of hogwarts..
now harry wants to have respect for snape, after seeing what snape has went via his "tear memory" bro, harry was fake ..somethings are left up for faith to decide, you dont need or have desire "a worldly desire" to know absolute truth, or science and reasoning for unexplained .." something or sometimes just let it be and it shall show what must happen or with happenstance let it happen.." as snape aka alan rickman #rip once said "for the moment or time being let them unfold.." and thats life to be fair..
MOST ARE FAKE REACTIONS.

People always misunderstand Snape. He didn't do it for Harry; he did it for Lily. He loves Lily, not Harry.
I put this in another comment, but Snape loves the part of Harry that is Lily. Snape couldn’t care less about the rest of him.
Semantics. Lily is a part of Harry and Snape has love for him because of it. Obviously they could never truly get along but there's no way he didn't care about Harry in some capacity.
@Jeremy252 It's not remotely semantics. It explains why he works behind the scenes to protect Harry while bullying him. Someone said it was all an act and that's just plainly untrue.
he’s a simp and deserved what he got for this very reason lily didn’t even like him anymore lmfao

Exactly, Rowling told Rickman the whole secret day 1, which led to animated discussion between Rickman and the directors, I was told.
@@Giovanni_Gabrielli Yes, apparently various directors were confused why he acted him that way.

And also "Please, hurry, I've just drunk a lot of poison"
I was gagged too. It takes a lot to pull the wool over my eyes and this series certainly did. The Prince's Story is my fav chapter in the whole franchise. It was definitely my most anticipated moment when the movie came out and they knocked it out of the ballpark.

And his patronus became hers. His happiest moment and saddest memory both
The three parts that kill me the most in this series is
1) this line, then Lily repeating the line to Harry.
2) In the prisoner of azkaban, Sirius going 'the people we love never really leave us, they live here you see.' Pointing to Harry's heart. Then in the same scene as Lily's 'Always', when Harry asks if Voldemort would be able to see them. Sirius goes no, we're here you see. Pointing to Harry's heart.
3) The same scene again with Harry going 'and Remus your son'.
Such a gut punch, that whole scene.

I still prefer Richard Harris as Dumbledore than Gambon.
I think the "Don't tell me now, that you've come to care for the boy" is so often misunderstood. I think people feel Dumbledor is implying that he doesn't care about Harry.
What I think he's doing is calling Snape out for how he viewed and treated Harry, because Dumbledor, like us, didn't have the full grasp of it.
So Snape is forced to reveal why he's so damned bitter and risks to much to protect the Potters. Because he still loves Lilly, and part of Harry is Lilly.
Ya, he's manipulative, but that doesn't mean he didn't care for harry at all. It was just kind of a "for the greater good" thing.
He doesnt give a damn about Harry. The movie may have changed his character but he mocks directly the idea that he cares about Harry in the novel. The movies took out the very important "FOR HIM"!
@@shihoblade Exactly, in the books Snape kind of asked Voldemort to spare Lily's life and kill Harry and James instead and when Dumbledore heard of this he told Snape "You disgust me Severus".
Finally someone said it
Not clear in the movie but Snape's patronus actually changed over time to a doe, which was Lily Evans' patronus. Dumbledore recognized this. It was always Lily.
The Patronus Charm represents the purest and happiest memory. Thats why the “Always.” breaks me every time. The depth of his unrequited love was so deep
Eight years/movies of hating Snape all shattered in seven minutes with everyone experiencing all five stages of grief on a darth Vader level plot twist
I remember watching this at a midnight showing. Once Snape said "always", the crowd applauded.
Why you Americans can't keep your mouths shut at theatres? Such a spoiled nation.
@@emreyldz43241. Mouths, not mouse.

Because you cannot see this kinda behaviour (applause) or anyother type, which interferes with the experiences of other viewers in Europe, because it would be considered unethical or shameful;
Telling those memories with confidence and pride, the way the way those people in theatre reacted, confirms they are American.
In Istanbul, Turkey if we buy or bring a popcorn bucket to an serious movie, we try to silence the sound of bites and chews coming out of that popcorn so people won't get disturbed.
@@emreyldz4324 Sounds miserable.
@@TheGreatDudist Why miserable? You don't go into the theatre with those people. They might not share the same feelings and same opinions about the film with you. Expressing those emotions outloud and outright might annoy other people. If expressing those sincere feelings and emotions in a way that all people could hear might worsen the feelings of people who were not enjoying the film, i would not do that. That would, disconnect from and interfere with their experience of that film. Maybe a standing ovation or applaouding after the films ending.. But it would be considered rude in my country and culture.
Because early Americans didn't experience so much theatre early on and experienced cinema nationwise so early, they didn't devoloped a sign of respect to the artist on stage, because they were none on movies and they could shout anything they want without interfering with the movie.
People are misunderstanding what Dumbeldore was asking Snape. Hes basically asking "Your only just NOW beginning to care about the boy you made crystal clear that you hated since the moment you met?"
Yeah, I don’t think he cared as much about Harry as people think he did. He wanted to save Lily’s son as payback for Lily, but then he finds out he can’t save a boy that has to die, and Dumbledore is like Whoops, I forgot to mention that, didn’t I?
I think he was angry that he’s done so much for essentially nothing.
I totally agree with you. It’s more a dig at Snape who always acted like he hated Harry . People mistaking it to mean that Dumbledore is suggesting that Harry is just collateral damage. Of course Dumbledore cares about Harry. He just knows that if Voldemort wins then mankind is screwed.
@@olgabahirkina1286 I think he actually does care about Harry. Of course it was because he was Lily's son, but i do believe he had feelings for him
😂😂😂 that's not what happened, pls this is bs. They understand absolutely perfectly
Snape is Harry's father
In the book it is not as clear as in the movie. Snape still dispises Harry. He does no protect him because he loves him, he protects him because of his absolute loyalty to Lilly.
I don't think he doesn't love Harry, but yeah the book is very nuanced as compared to the movie. Snape hates Harry's triats from his father, but sees his mother and has no choice but to care for it. He hates AND loves him. Thats why in the book after Dumbledore asked him that, he simply said "him?", because even though he doesn't have a want for a kid to die, Albus should know that that's NOT the root of his concern.
Snape is arguably the most nuanced character in all of fiction. He went from villain to hero, and was never really fully loyal to either one. But he had ONE thing he always loved: Lily.....
Snape loves the part of Harry that is Lily. He couldn’t care less about the rest of him.
I think it's because the movie trying so hard to portray "Snape redemption arc". That's why we never saw Snape's bad side and why Lily chose James.
Indeed. I was quite shocked when I heard the audiobooks of Harry Potter. I had seen the movie first.
Snape was and remained a bastard in the books. At his core he didn't really change, he just loved Lilly and hated Voldemort for killing her. That was all there was to it. There was no change of heart, he was a Deatheater at the core and he worked with Dumbledore not out of an inner conviction, but because it served his goal to get back at Voldemort.@@blameitondanny
@@Quotenwagnerianer Yup. That's why Dumbledore able to manipulate him. It's always "Lily's son" not Harry.
The brilliance of having Harry call Snape a coward a whole book before it’s revealed he is the least cowardly is amazing. I watch most of these people😂
One of the saddest movie scenes I’ve ever seen, and yet so beautiful. Alan Rickman was a genius, his performance made this scene unforgettable
For all HP's ups and downs as a work of fiction, Snape has emerged as one of the best characters written in the past 40 years, so complex and nuanced, and brought to life brilliantly by Alan Rickman (R.I.P.). Alan was actually going to leave the films after the second or third movie, but Rowling took him aside and told him - and ONLY him - what the backstory was. Alan became fascinated and stuck with the character. He held the secret close but it informed his portrayal immensely. In my opinions, one of the big failures of the movie wasn't laying the groundwork for the reveal of the Doe patronus, of how the Doe was Lily's patronus (to match his father's Stag), but as the sole source of his only happiness and his only happy memories (remember, how you summon your patronus, with powerful feelings of love and joy), his own patronus mimicked hers, though it was kept in secret, like his love.
Imagine loving a person more than you could possibly ever love anything else and hating the person who took her from you by exemplifying everything you could never be... and then being forced to look after and care for the living embodiment of both your greatest love and admiration and your greatest source of hate and self-loathing. So masterfully written and the reveal was so superbly done after all the red herrings and (seemingly) conflicting behaviors by Snape...
Personally, I have been fortunate enough to discover that there are worse ways to live one's live than in the service and devotion to one truly good woman - even after she has gone.
The way you said it... 👏
The spitting image of his childhood bully, but the eyes of the only person he's ever loved. This part in the book made me tear up, but the movie made me cry pretty hard.
It’s funny how surprised everyone is that harry has to die, how quickly they forget Professor Trelawney’s prophecy of Harry and Voldemort: “…For neither can live while the other survives...."
This line is well written tho because at the time you figure Harry just needs to kill Voldemort. Also, in the books the prophecy was ambiguous in that it could have originally referred to either Harry or Neville.
@@beverleyelianeSo. Since Neville kills Nagini. The prophecy in a certain sense STILL refers to Neville too? I mean, I don't want to say that Nevil killed Voldemort, but he is the one who allowed to kill him.
@@cowgfwolos9560yes, the prophecy could have applied to Neville or harry and they both fulfilled it in the end bc they each killed a part of Voldemort!
@@cowgfwolos9560 the prophecy says that “the dark lord himself will mark” the chosen boy. This can only be harry since Voldemort accidentally marked him when he killed Harry’s parents. Neville’s parents were attacked by Bella on the other hand.
I kinda hate how people who haven't read the book miss the biggest proof of Snape's love for Lilly... A person's Patronus are always the same, unless he falls truly in love with someone... Then his/her Patronus changes into the one of them they love... That's why Snape's Patronus turns into a Deer...
This really was like having the rug pulled out from under you, having the wind knocked out of you, right before someone rips your beating heart from your chest, waves it in front of you, then crushes it.
So many feelings, and all the good ones do is make you feel worse!
My favorite hint about Snape's true nature was that Dumbledore had Snape train Harry in occlumency in Order of the Phoenix - because Snape has been successfully using that very skill against Voldemort for years.
In fact, that speech he gives Narcissa and Bellatrix about "playing his part well" and "deceiving one of the greatest wizards ever" was 100 percent true - they just assumed he was deceiving Dumbledore instead.
Dumbledore played both Snape and Harry like a fiddle
In the last book, there was a lot of stuff in Snape’s memory that involved Lily in their teens and he called her a Mudblood in anger that broke their friendship and she dated James instead..he told Voldy the prophecy he overheard and Voldy assumed it was Harry and Snape asked Dumbledore to hide just Lily and then hide them all after Dumbledore snapped at him for letting James and Harry die just so he could have Lily..Snape had to live with the bitterness and guilt of losing Lily’s love and responsibe for her death..also they met James on the train to Hogsworth (not at the Sorting) and James was a jerk to them and she didn’t like him til after her fight w Snape..Lily’s Patronus was the doe too and he kept it as his to keep her memory alive for himself..in most of the books, Snape has a hand in saving Harry from harm without anyone but Dumbledore knowing
And snape asked for sorry

My experience as a reader of HP books, this scene was ths most heart-wrenching. I was a menace and announce spoilers to people, because I like being the first one to read books.
My older cousin bought the book, HP7, hardbound, and I asked if I can read it first. One thinh she told me, "Once you're done, don't spoil anything to anybody"
When I got to this part, I was at the dining table, waiting for lunch. My parents and other relatives were around, talking, laughing, and having a good time as we were having a weekend get-together.
Tears rolled nonstop, as I was struggling to read the chapter slowly, taking in the information.
My cousin, who owns the book, noticed and asked: "Why are you crying?"
I just looked up to her, and said: " Oh... you don't wanna know... You have to read it, I'm not gonna spoil you"
This plot twist was the first that I have never spoiled to anyone, as I want them to feel how breakinh it is.
Severus was the real hero
"The bravest man i ever knew."
Snape wasn't a hero nor was he a Villian... he was a bad man who did a great thing for the wrong reasons he definitely was brave there can be no doubt...

The "ALWAYS" always kills me my god.
Severus going to Godric's Hollow in the movie was done to make him more sympathetic, since he didn't go there in the books. It was a perfect move and with Alan Rickman, Snape became a more powerful tragic hero than ever.
this scene was always sad to watch and seeing all these reactors reacting makes it even sadder, to say Alan Rickman did a fantastic job as Snape in the films would be a massive understatement
Snape and Dumbledore will always be my favorite characters in the franchise. R.I.P to Alan Rickman. 🙏😪
To me, the saddest part is Draco. On the one hand, he's always been a rich, entitled and arrogant bully. So obviously a lot of people won't like him for that. But he's not actually a murderer, which is kind of a problem when you're trying to join the Dark Lord's Death Eaters. So he's really a tragic and lonely character. He doesn't truly fit in anywhere.
22:03 "im about to rip off Dumbledore's Army shirt" Hahahaha thats so good I love that
It was all the plan Dumbledore made to defeat Voldemort and give Harry the only chance to survive. He was meticulous in his plan and it worked. Dumbledore sacrificed a lot to protect Harry
People who haven't read the book don't know that Snape didn't ask to hide them all. He asked voldemort to spare lily after killing james and Harry. Snape never cared about harry. And dumbledore knew it.
He did ask Dumbledore to hide them all after asking voldemort to spare lily and being refused.
@@FingerpaintedMonkey He didnt refuse tho, did he? He was like: If she gets in the way, then she's gone. But if she moves away, she'll be spared. But Snape damn knew she was gonna get as much in the way as humanly possible for her child
Rickman did many roles, but this sequence had me weeping like a baby in the theater. Oscar stuff I thought.
By the way, it's not that Snape shaped his patronus to match Lily's willingly. When a wizard loves a witch so passionately (or vice versa) , his patronus automatically takes the exact shape of the loved one.
I really wish they wouldve made this part longer. There's so much left out important information about his aunt too. She was just jealous the whole time. People think snape actually liked harry but he didn't. He did it solely because he LOVED Lilly that much. She was his everything
The most famous friendzone in cinematic history.
Sometimes I think that Snape genuely has his faults in this friendzone. I can't say Lily's gonna love him if the "You madblood!" accident didn't happen, but of course you can not expect a Jewish girl to love you if you are a Nazi who works at Auschwitz.
Who else already liked Snape before this moment?
I mean in the books this revelation was a little harder to swallow because he was so awful to Harry for 6 books before this. The movies toned him down a lot.
This made me realize that there was once a time where we didn't know about Snape's affection for Lily.
Yes dumbledore led harry “to slaughter” but he also knew he too would have to die.
It always gets me when people who only watch the movie learn Snape was a good guy. He would do anything to keep herry safe for her.
4:12 Snape loved Lily but Lily only saw him as a close friend and in the book you learn since Snape used black magic and called Lily mudblood in earlier memory that’s that’s why she didn’t have crush on him
The best friend zone
I love everyone's reaction when they realize snape was actually the good guy and Dumbledore wasn't who people thought he was
That's even more interesting in the books, when it's made clear that Snape was actually a faithful Death Eater who called Lily a madblood but still protected her son after her death, despite he still despise him. Rowling did plot holes (like Fred and George map) and retcons (Fantastic Beasts), but with Dumbledore and Snape she created a perfect duo of a good guy doing manipulative and questionable things for the greater good and the bad guy doing exstraordinary things for love and loyalty. Simply a genius portrayal. Not black and white. But grey. That's truly magic. Rowling is a genius and no one can tell me otherwise.
@@cowgfwolos9560 I know he was a death eater and a blood supremacist (which has no excuse), but i do feel that when he called Lily a mudblood, he felt so terrible he tried to make up for it since that moment, but Lily (rightfully so) never gave him a chance to apologize properly

I always felt that Snape always bad mouthed James because he couldn’t protect Lily when it mattered.
bingo
Snape "badmouthed" James, because James and the Marauders used to bully him (4 on 1) and others in school "because he was there"...
@@darajeeling While that is true, James ultimately did fail to protect Lily. We learn in the books that James casually threw his wand onto the sofa after entering the house, minutes before Voldemort broke in. Despite the severity of the situation and the fact they had a CHILD that was being targeted by a very dangerous wizard, he tossed his wand aside without a care, effectively leaving him defenseless. That's why he was killed so easily. If he had kept his wand on him, he could have tried to buy time for Lily and Harry to escape. They both failed to protect Lily, but James was in a more direct position to do so, and when it mattered, he was careless. Upon hearing of her death, you can bet that much of his anger towards James was because he didn't protect her. Yes he loathed them for bullying him, but Lily was always his sole focus. And after 10+ years of dealing with her death, he probably blamed James a lot in that time.
It’s unfortunate none of these will pick up that his Patronus was the same as Lily’s because of his utmost loyalty and love for her since her Patronus isn’t really mentioned in the movies.
Yup. The movies did great things, but also bad things.
It's mentioned in a later scene. At kings cross, Harry asks Dumbledore if Snapes patronus was a Doe like his mom. Dumbledore doesn't answer but the audience is supposed to connect the dots then. I think not revealing that to movie watchers during the montage of snapes memories was a mistake and cause people to misunderstand how littlr Snape cared for Harry himself. It was only Lily

Rickman’s such a good actor
He hated Harry because he was James’ son. But he loved Harry because he was Lily’s son…
Snape was the real mvp
Things of note: When Harry is trying to close his mind, he enters Snape's mind and see's James, Sirius. Lupin, and Peter bullying Snape. Snape called Lily a mudblood. In the book that made it in the memory because Snape apologized for it but she didn't accept it. Peter was the one who was secret keeper for James and Lily and that's how Voldemort found them. Neville was the second boy born at the end of July but Voldemort went after the half blood not the pure blood. The doe represented Lily and Snape's love for her, always. When Snape killed Dumbledore, that should have broken the power of the elder wand but Draco disarmed Dumbledore so the wand transferred to Draco inadvertently. The way Snape's story was written was amazing and it kept people wondering if they should trust him or not.
So he should have killed Neville as well, both Harry and he had a part in killing Voldemort. So one without the other couldn’t have done it.
@@payday9448 In the book Harry made a choice to tell Neville about killing the snake before "meeting his death" so at least three people knew about the horcurxes. 25:09 "The boy who lived must die"
Me: "Until he lived for the second time"
Here comes a post from someone who grew up with the books and movies ( I am the same age as Daniel Radcliffe).
When reading this part in the book (I read all books prior to movies), it completely BROKE me because you realize that the very same man you hated turns out to be the very same man who is the hero. Snape played his character so masterfully, hiding his true feelings for Lilly and behaved like an asshole towards Harry in his presence, but backstage he was saving him from death (remember the Patronus he send?) and hiding a fake replica of the Griffindor sword in Bellatrix’s vault so Harry would have access to the sword?
For me, seeing the movies in cinema and especially the final movie, THIS is the scene where the entire cinema froze. Not a single word was spoken, it was so quite you could hear a fly on the wall. The movie makers did brilliantly in making the cinema adaptation so masterfully done as opposed to the book version. When Harry then realized the truth, we all broke down and cried. Just imagine a cinema complete SILENT and then bursting out in tears and screaming.
THIS was unequivocally the MAJOR plot twist of the books, it took everyone by surprise when reading the books when they were launched for the first time.
For me, Snape’s death was the most painful. Not even Dumbledore’a death made such impact.
O love that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul in thee.
I give thee back the life I owe, that in thy ocean's depths it flows,
may richer fuller be.
O joy that seeks me through the pain, I cannot close my heart to thee.
I chase the rainbow through the rain, and feel the promise is not vain,
that morn shall tearless be.
The last guy calls Voldemort "Valtimore" ... like Baltimore.
😂😂😂😂😂
They should have kept one line from the book
When Dumbledore asks "Don't tell me that you've starting to care for the boy?"
Snape snarls back in return: "HIM?! Expecto Patronum."
That's when Dumbledore knows it's not love for Harry but for Lilly. His patronus is still taking her form, years after her death meaning his love for her didn't change from the day he lost her. The only form unconditional love manifests in wizards is when their Patronus turns into the form of the loved one's.
Actually, Dumbledore was brilliant. He figured out what had to be done to destroy Voldemort. He had to enlist Snape to do it. You have to read the books to get this. Truly.
The patronis spell takes the shape of the patronis of a person you love. Harry's patronis was that of a stag, like his fathers. Snapes was a doe, just like Lily's.
I just stumbled across your channel and holy cow these are awesome. More more more.
First time I watched when Dumbledore asked Snap “Don’t tell me now you’ve grown to care for the boy?” I got it right away, the tone in the way he asks him says it all! Dumbledore loved Harry but it is essential that it plays out like that!
I didn't really like most of the Harry Potter movies. Except for this one moment. Alan Rickman nailed it.
Yet you watched all of them lol?
@@mikeyt3784Some of us liked the books, but the movies are rough when it comes to a coherent plot without understanding stuff. The last few are better. The first ones suffer a lot from not having an overview of where it all actually goes.
@@Zhiperser you should look at it as if you didn't read the books and therefore aren't so aware of what they didn't put in. I appreciate where you're coming from though. Makes my original statement not so clear cut. If you love the books, you're gonna stick with the movies. But overall, were you happy with the movies anyway?
Im a man, i never cry, but i remember when i first saw this, i didnt cry but i could literally feel it in my throat. The most emotional movie moment ever for me.
Snape's love for Lily was so absolute that his Patronus became hers. It gave him the strength to endure the long years of being a double agent.
25:54 leave it up to Pat to say the dumbest thing at any given moment.
Dumbledore "Dont tell me now you've grown to care for the boy?" Me thinking "no shit asshole you asked a man to protect a boy like a dad would & then expect him not to care for him." No common sense for human emotions.
"Always"- rest in peace Alan Rickman & thank u for All U Do, Sir. U r dearly missed ❤❤❤😢 Best Snape Eveeeerrrr
I’ll always cry every time I watched Snape’s memories… Always 😢
I cry at this scene every time, but I was cackling with the two girls immediately breaking into tears at “always” (relate) and then immediately becoming frustrated at the guy being so confused 😂
Sometimes it’s hard being such a fan of HP and not everyone understanding the storyline or a significant moment.
Snape is my favorite character from whole Harry potter franchise . ...❤
Rip Alan Rickman. Truly the greatest Snape theyre could have ever possibly been, it wouldnt be right if it were anyone else
It's ironic really. The memories show pretty much everyone is a way worse person as to how they've been portrayed up to that point.
- Lily's sister is not a nice girl, though we knew already what she'd grow up to be like.
- James Potter was indeed a bully & arrogant. We can clearly see that.
- James actually picked on Severus yet Lily did not only not protect her best friend, she fell in love with the bully.
- Albus is highly manipulative and is interested in destroying Voldemort above all else. Including himself and Harry. He wouldn't have known whether Harry would survive or not.
Severus actually protected Harry with his life. The child of his best friend that literally betrayed him. Not because she went with another guy, but with the guy that specifically picked on him. That's cold to treat your best friend like that. And Severus STILL protected her child after she died AND she died because *she trusted the wrong person* . Sound familiar? The reality is, Lily is a pretty bad person too.
Great UA-cam channel you got some bangers for only starting a few weeks ago! INTERSTELLAR reaction to the messages has to be up there for one of your next videos
They never explain in the movie that Harry's fathers animagus was a stag... which is why Lily's patronus was a doe.
only allen rickmen could have played that play, his vocie will always be the vocie i will hear no matter who plays this part in years to come
I remember the pain in the theater like it was yesterday 😅😅
we already watched all of that ...and still watching .... that is our world ❤🔮
When Dumbledore says "Don't tell me now, you care for the boy?". He's not saying he doesn't care. He just didnt know that Snape was still in love with Lily. It was a badly written line.
Snape’s patrons was a doe just like Lily. James’s patrons was a stag. Dumbledore was dying anyway, so that is why the plan for killing him. That way Draco Malfoy did not become a murder. Snape did not love Harry, but protected him out of loyalty to Lily. Also, Voldemort did not know that he had created a horcrux in Harry.
This will always be one of the best reveals in cinema/literature history imo. It’s such a good pay off and build up throughout the series.
I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of people finding this out!
I’m still wondering, if dying Snape hadn’t shared his memories, *who was supposed to tell Harry he had to die?*
Idk who the 2nd reactors are, but i cried with them. I'll go binge watch it again with them😂
the channel name is "just trust ash", the couple is ash and hannah, they're really good!
@mimirants7935 thank you! I'll check them out ^^
Dumbledore acted like he cared for Harry but he didn't, Snape acted like he didn't care for Harry but he did.
Dumbledore knew how to make Voldemort vulnerable. Harry had to “die” to kill that part of Voldemort soul.
Severus alienated Lily by calling her a “mud blood ”. He had become involved with Voldemort . So she turned away from him. And found James Potter, although she considered him in school a “toe rag “. You need to read the books to get this. This chapter in book 7 is called The Princes Tale. If you read no other chapter to understand this arc, read this one.
I have a deathly hallows tattoo that says always. Also for people who don’t know, the doe was Lily’s patronus.
R. I. P to the actor
Great story telling
This is gold for real ❤
Wow the guy at the end with the beard…. Like is he for real?
Us already seen the movies BUT still putting ourselves through this emotions through others eyes.. 😭
Snape ends up being the biggest hero.
Fun fact- J.K. Rowling hadn't finished the books when the first movie came out, so she actually told Rickman Snape's Arc so he could know how to act in each movie. While Snape was a lot more complicated in the book (he was a true neutral in my opinion, definitely the best written char in the series if you ask me), I do prefer the movie version of him because Rickman makes him more sympathetic and 'nicer'. Like the anger in Snape's voice when he confronts Dumbledore ". . . like a pig for slaughter", oooh that always gets to me.
Anyone else screaming at the screen when you first saw Snape summon the doe?? You knew what they were showing and what it meant so fast, and it was so painful!!
