No pre-planning for this video, just documenting what I eat. No Macros are included in this video since I dont track them. This was a more typical 2 weeks for me than Part 1. Ribeyes were on sale at my local grocery store the first week. I had a work trip for my job so lots of eating out. Then leftovers and weekend family meals. I decided to cut out cheese halfway through the month and noticed a big change in my appetite.

Lol...I was just tuning into Pt. 2 of "Carnivore Diet: What I Eat, A Month of Meals", when it hit me: what a masochist I am watching these two awesome videos while I'm fasting! Lol...Now I'm thinking that I don't like the way my tummy has started to rumble, so I will watch this conclusion the nx time I'm sitting down to a yummy meat meal. :)
      Hugely inspiring as always, Laura!

Just wanted you to know: I am an American living in Tokyo, but from Texas. I have shared your 120 lb loss video in my Carnivore and Fasting groups. Many have enjoyed them and are now following you. Your video with your mom (doubter to believer video) has helped at least 3 of my friends' moms give keto/ carnivore a try. So, just wanted to say thanks, and whether or not you realize it, you are saving lives. Give our thanks to your mom, too. - PS: The thing which seems to resonate with most people, including me, is that you don't pretend to know the science, you lead by example. Plenty of good and bad science-filled channels out there, few of just people sharing the daily experience and what's real. My guess is you're gonna have over 100k subs within the next 45 days. Keep up the great content.

Don't worry about "being boring" ! I love your videos because you show real life situations. I eat off the same 6 lb pork shoulder for days until it's completely gone. It saves me money and decreases the amount of cooking and clean up in the kitchen!

thank you so much for the extra effort to share with us ! I'm at about 80% carnivore diet going back to AUG 2019. ...i also hunt and fish, so i harvest my own game. I have found, however, that the super lean / non fatty meats don't make me feel as full nearly as quickly. So, i end up consuming more by weight, on average than when i eat say 85/15 ground beef. Anyway, i am fortunate to also have nearby a couple of markets where i can get rabbit, turtle, different species of duck, bison, elk, etc. Good stuff !

3:00 THANK YOU. OMAD all the way. Just general IF was useless to me. I could really knuckle down for an extended fast and by the time I was ready to break it. I had the food cravings/addiction in hand and could ease back slowly, healthy. But IF was no kind of fast! As soon as I got a good number of hours behind me, it would be time to eat and I wanted to binge, plus a second meal I felt the same way! I think I was basically eating three meals worth of food in that window and feeling crappy as a result, both emotionally and physically.
Now I skip breakfast and power through to at least 5 pm which basically means my working hours are devoted to uninterrupted work, with energy and clarity. My feeding window is between 5 and 9 pm, so if I have an early dinner I might still have a heallthy snack well before an hour before bed, because I feel the difference late night eating has on my body. It does not want to be digesting food that late plus I tend to have both binge and junk food urges late at night combined with reduced self-control. A perfect storm of unhealthy eating. But yeah eating always seems to trigger those strong huunger cravings, so better off just delaying it all day, eating and then going to bed so I can sleep through the urges instead of trying to overpower them. And morning is fine, esp with a workout and maybe a little black coffee. 👍

Great video Laura, love seeing what you and your family eat! My husband and I are on a tight budget so we need to get creative with our carnivore meals… I would love to see you make a video of how you shop for your meat, I know you have said that you checked the sales flyer at the grocery stores... maybe you could walk us through that process and your meat shopping over the course of a week or two?!? Thank you Laura keep up the great videos!!!🥩💖🥓💖🥩

My Dad was a meat cutter (and an amazing chef!) - he would be so impressed with the cuts, how you cook and would really love the use of a butcher knife and cutting board as your place setting, lol! I was also married to a cattle rancher for 11 years - I miss raising my own beef 😕 Think I will try carnivore as I’ve always been a beef eater and I too need to lose 120 lbs....only problem is I’ve had gastric sleeve surgery (4 years ago and never reached goal) so I cannot eat the quantity you do at one sitting.

C Morris I’ve had the sleeve too and it’s doable if you take more time to eat and have little breaks. I often do intermittent fasting and eat my food between 9:00 am and 2:00/3:00. I find this works for me.

Don't worry about that. Laura is a big eater, by nature. My husband and I only eat a fraction of that and we have both received fantastic results. This video made me wonder if I was eating too little, but results speak for themselves. Also, I read about a woman who had that same surgery. She lost a huge amount of weight on Carnivore and had the device removed after she reached her goal. Try it!

    • @charalson3023
      @charalson3023 4 роки тому +1

Leslie Parsons Gastric Sleeve is when approximately 2/3 of the stomach is removed, permanently changes the size of the stomach - gastric band is the device that makes the opening to the stomach smaller and can be removed....but I’m going to try carnivore and as long as I can get in 60-90 grams of protein a day (meat & eggs) I will be good!

I was vegan for 3 1/2 years, during which time I completely destroyed my health and developed multiple food allergies that caused me massive inflammation and severe joint pain. I am doing carnivore now and I'm feeling so much better it is truly amazing, I'll admit it took a good 6 weeks of feeling like total crap in the beginning before I started to feel better. In this 6 week to 2 month period I have realized I have an egg allergy, which causes all the above mentioned issues. Has anyone else discovered they also have an egg allergy they previously didn't know they had and has the carnivore diet helped reverse any allergies? Love this channel and grateful to have found this community. ❤

Same here! Was vegan, vegan keto, raw, vegetarian for prob 14 years total.. but I’ve been prob 80% veg 20%meat for a few years.
Lately I’ve been having awful stomach pains and when I put anything in my mouth I bloat up like 9 month pregnant woman. I’m 5’8 and 18% body fat 120 lbs.. wasn’t me. Figured I had ibs and or sibo.
Been carnivore 3 days (still having coffee with half and half and stevia) but everything is gone! No gas, no bloating, no arthritis - I’m not hungry. It’s amazing!
I haven’t tried eggs yet because pre carnivore they always gave me sulfur farts lol so I figure I am prob allergic anyway - hard boiled don’t do that tho for some weird reason🤷🏻‍♀️

Hello. Im not alergic to eggs, i thought i cant have eggs bc i feel that they just sit in my stomach for hours. When i removed the white and just ate the raw yolk i felt that this is it. I give the white to my dog though. Still new to carnivore, doing research bc im not a big meat eater. But probably will go keto first and then carnivore. Cheers

The last few carnivore with a life long habit of fasting has really been enjoyable. Yes upping the game to non dairy for most women is great... For me dairy was out of the equation due to inflammatory... issues and cancer... But the increased energy and feel good days are at a peak w just pure carnivore.. your absolutely right ! We love your videos and the carnivore diet. One thing I haven’t heard any drs talking about is be careful with burnt/black parts of the meat when it is cooked at that high of a temperature and burns it turns to heterocyclic amines which is a very bad chemical that leads to severe oxidative damage over time. Eat meat just not black or no grill marks. Thanks again for all your information and your story it has helped me and my family.

Isn't it crazy how addicted we were/are to food! That is why I loved Keto and being on the super strict version. However, due to medical issues that caused me to start gaining weight no matter how strict I stayed, after about 4 months I gave up (2019)and started eating higher carbs and half the weight I lost (lost 60 lbs.) came back on. I really wanted to start Carnivore at the beginning of the year, but can't remember why...probably because I didn't want to give up my wine. I recently got a scary diagnosis of liver disease and had to stop drinking altogether and started Carnivore 3 days ago. I'm so excited to watch this video and all my favorite Keto doctors who also love Carnivore. I also have terrible painful arthritis in right hip and ortho said I need a hip replacement and heard that Carnivore could minimize some of the pain, I 'm hoping this is the case.
