I use midi in audacity . And from audacity then I use pro logic and pro logic x to GarageBand . Using midi or software already installed instruments and sounds
Another excellent video! Not much nonsense talking, just straight to the point! Thank you very much...
PS: It would be nice to have a sort of a "preview" option in the Remove silence before you actually press OK...

Prompt and correct. Excellent as always!
You are the best.
Thanks a lot!
So good, thank you!
Love it but this works when the sounds that midmi notes trigger live in Logic. I have an electronic kit connected to Logic. When I play the kit, I hear the sounds from the kit's brain and Logic records the midi notes to one track. When I play the recording back in Logic, I hear the drums because those midi notes trigger the sounds back on the kit's brain. However, when I bounce the midi region in Logic, an audio track is produced as above but it is empty. No audio.
There’s no option for “Bounce” when I right-click.
A very good video Mike, your presentation was easy to understand converting midi to audio in Logic Pro x.
Thank you Sir!
thanks for the tips cant wait to watch more
How about bouncing multiple midi tracks to audio not just 1?
Thanks Mike for this video!

I don't get what I'm doing wrong; I came to this video for advice because bounce in place wasn't working, but the advice in the video is to bounce in place.
When I'm done bouncing in place, nothing appears and all of my google searching says bounce in place for midi doesn't work..
Nice easy to follow video tutorial
Thanks for you most useful tutorial. I managed to bounce this external midi track into audio, the midi data is still there. The audio track appears to have been created though there is no sound when I played it back on that desired audio track. The external mid instrument keyboard is plugged into auxiliary Out to auxiliary in on my Behringer mixer/audio interface but again, I’m not hearing any sound from the newly created audio track with the midi data copied onto it to then allow it to play. I see the green strip with a white line going through it, I’m sure I had this slight problem before, but I cannot recall what the cause is though I’m sure it is something easy enough. Thanks in advance if you can assist
Thank you Mike. In my case, every bounce in place I do is converted to a stereo audio track. Do you know how can I bounce to mono?
This is a visual thing, for example, if you bounce your Kick pattern / midi to audio, it shows you a stereo audio, but the Kick is still in mono
Big thanks my guy! 🤘🏽🔥
Can you demonstrate this using hardware synth?
Thx!!!
when I bounce region in place , and ultrabeat has multioutputs, just bounce to a new audio track, not several tracks , how can I bounce in place bu creating several tracks with each drum part?..(kicks, snare,...etc)
I know this video is old, but I still can’t get my MIDI to bounce to audio. Logic says it can only bounce audio or software instruments. I’ve tried using software instrument track and copying and pasting the MIDI notes I made and it did bounce but when I bounce the whole project I still can’t hear that section. It’s like it’s completely mute. This is sooo frustrating 😔🔫
Thanks, man.
love you work bedst regards Flemming Denmark
Thank you Flemming! =)
Sincerely
Mike
thank you!!!!!!!
Thank's that really helped a lot
Hey, I've just uploaded a video on this subject, go check it!
i'm having a problem where i connected my keyboard to my laptop and I can record midi to Logic but it only plays out of the keyboard speakers. the midi file is there and looks normal but if I turn the keyboard off it will not play out of my computer. I tried to bounce it to audio but the audio file was blank. Can anyone help me? my preferences are set to use the system setting as the output .
Hi Mike!!! It is I again...
I'm working a lot better ever since I took your courses but I'm strugling to export my projects either to mp3 or wav... either way they sound very low and they are impossible to share not even as a demos... I have a great and powerful final mix sound in the actual Logic pro X but as soon as I bounce them the stereo files they lost all the volume... is there anything I can do to fix this?
I will realy appreciate if you can tell me what to do... or what to buy...
PS: It does not happens the same with the fl studio 20 which sounds great... but Logic is my main DAW...
THANK YOU MIKE!!!
Mikael plz tell me, how to bounce multi track out, when multi track used in midi, example omnisphere multi, kontakt multi midi regions, (bounce in place and all track export for mix)
Thank you very much for your videos. This is great. Question. When I bounce a stereo midi track it becomes a stereo audio track with the instrument on the right channel. How do I do it in stereo or mono?
Thanks for the information bro..❤
Thanks man!
Ciao Mikael, come faccio a cambiare suono su una traccia midi ? grazie
Amazing!!
Nice video but how you bounce a folder made by stack tracks? Thanks
Hi! How I can export all audio tracks with sends printed in?
Hello Mike, maybe you use track freeze as well to save cpu. Then when the composing is done and you export all tracks to audio for mixing the tracks bounced/exported from frozen midi tracks end up in mono! How do you deal with this?
Tnx bro
hi mik!..how to unmute the midi trck that u hve change to audio..
Awesome video Mike. Quick question here from the states. I am making beats mostly within logic pro x and want to learn how to edit audio. However my first project is all in midi. Do i have to convert every track into audio format from Midi in order to edit all tracks? Thank you. Keep making videos!
Yes I would recommend to Bounce MIDI track to audio, then you can do audio editing on it if that is what you want. =)
Sincerely,
Mike
@@mikaelbaggstrom Thank you so much for the response and your time. I am done with the composing and arranging side of things and next I want to add effects and edit audio clips to get rid of pops and weird noises if need be. I have heard you can mix and master in logic but this is my homework to do. I want to at least be able to mix really well and then if need be send out for someone to master until i learn to. Thank you for your help. If i have to individually bounce all midi tracks then so be it. but its a lot of processing time :'( haha.
Thx bro
is ter anyway to convert all midi to waves at one shot in logic pro
Thank you👌🏼👌🏼

Hi, please tell me ,why my function of converting midi to audio is not active ?
Hello, thank you ! I have a question, I have a song recorded in a Korg Kronos sequencer, should I send all the tracks into Logic pro one by one and then bounce them into audio ? thanks already
🐐
Hey buddy I’ve just subscribed to your channel
Please answer my question
DO I HAVE TO BOUNCE ALL MY MIDI TRACKS TO AUDIO TRACKS ?
I’m happy with working with midi
You only need to do this if your computer is struggling, CPU/RAM etc. Because audio tracks don't use as much as MIDI software instrument tracks.
Sincerely,
Mike
