It’s nice to see well made furniture being repurposed, rather than replaced. When the style changes, this dresser can be upgraded again to match that the new style. Your work is stellar as always. Thank you for another fine video.
I'm one of those who isn't a fan of gray wood, but with that being said, these look gorgeous. So much better than the two-tone look it was before. Those handles really brought it together!
I discovered medium gray in the 80's long before it was the trend. I use it everywhere because it is a pleasing backdrop to the rest of the room, no matter its function and gray can stand on its own as well. This piece turned out beautifully!
I for one would NOT have thought that gray, as a stain, was in any way pleasing to the eye. But these pieces, as you've finished and tweaked them, are stunning!
We've seen many case where you've taken a wreck and turned it into a masterpiece, now we know you can take furniture in good condition and make it better still. Lovely.
Whatever colour, what amazes me is you Trena working with skills and passion either on an antique piece or a simple style modern piece. And for us who watch is pure joy. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning, Trena. ❤ I can just imagine a lovely modern quilt on the bed. The gray would set one off perfectly! As always, you are a color master!!! Cheers, Lili
I really do like grey and those pieces are outstanding. I love the detail at the foot of the legs and the delicacy of the top. I'm afraid to say that some of the furniture I've built for my bedroom has a solid dove grey matt finish...
I came here to say the same thing. Imagine seeing those pieces from 30 feet away, then discovering the wood grain as you approach them! And that hardware looks pretty damn cool!!
Well, your comment was one that needs to be said. If you have nothing nice to say then say nothing. Well, my comment is that you have done a fantastic job on this furniture set. Of course you a pro at what you do. Another happy customer I am sure. The grey looks awesome.
I like it! It’s not like it was a 19th century heirloom to begin with. It was a solid maple piece that was due for a refresh. Beautiful work as always.
Looks absolutely beautiful to me. I've worked with my Father building homes for over 50 years. He would always tell me when people wanted something different, brown suits, blue suits. Meaning everyone likes different things.
While I'm not a modern furniture "fan", I've designed and created several very modern pieces in my life. In this case, I think this dresser looks better with the finish and hardware you installed, as it already had simple modern lines. Also, the grey you used still has a hint of warmth. Not as exciting or challenging a project, but I appreciate you taking us along for the ride. Cheers! (The nightstand has different hardware?)
I wasn't sure at first with the color choice. But when you grouped them up at the end of your video it blew me away. I ❤ the look, great job again Trena. Cheers!
Honestly, i think it looks great! I often prefer the antique look. Super huge fan of the redder woods... but this more modern style/finish is very nice... and nicely executed. I get that some people don't like this style... and that's fine. But this is a choice by the customer, for their pieces. But, again... I think it looks really great! 😊
Fine job, Trena. I hope the customer is very happy with the work. It is a big wide world and there is room for lots of different choices. But I am glad I don't have to live with that set.
WOW !! when you showed the piece as you were spraying it I have to say it didnt look good ....but then you show it finished and HOLY BATMAN !!! That looks awesome and I like the gray color..it really does look like a classy modern piece and the owner should be VERY happy !!! Nice work !!
Not normally a fan of painted/coloured furniture (wood is normally beautiful enough for me as it is.). BUT, I know from Jaguar dashboard options in the recent past that Grey Birdseye Maple was an utterly gorgeous finish. Your client has exceptionally good taste (IMHO), and top marks to you for doing your usual passion-driven quality of work without judgement. You and your client have both totally nailed it!
It looks much better than before you always show your talent. I sure didn't care for the original look. Superlative job young lady. Thank you for sharing.👍♥️
Trenna, its looking great with the grey colour. From what I am looking at, is the grey looks like a off-white colour that blends in its surroundings. Keep up with the great work. Angela from Australia.
Many people have a style. If you like that style, go there. Otherwise go elsewhere. You have shown remarkable versatility and and competence across many different tastes that your customers have. WHAT A FREAT TALENT YOU HAVE SHOWN!!!VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!
Grey wouldn't be my choice but it definitely looks a lot classier than the original finish. And anything that keeps these pieces out of the dump is a win! I think you did an amazing job, as usual! 😊
Oh Trena!.... I loved It!.... sometimes neutral colors seem to be boring but I think this job is a perfect opportunity to decorate a bedroom with accesories, which is better because it is more flexible. Your client knows what she wants... good bones with a modern twist... Great job!
You should name the video "The customer is always right". BTW I think it looks very nice, people seem to be stuck on all the old finishes you do, they just can't seem to imagine some things in other peoples homes.
Beautifully done! The gray with the pulls works. The customer will love it! She most likely picked this color to go with her room! I happen to enjoy a lot of grays, they tend to carry a hint of another color. We have a lot of old furniture much of what is dark…they look really nice with grayish walls that have a hint of a color like a greenish tint or blue tint and in our sunny room…we have a violet/rose which everyone wants the paint color! We have 5 4x5 windows and a sliding glass door. We have had a burgundy/reddish print on our couch and love seat which sounds gross but they were beautiful. And a dark green desk, dark stain library table and black leather recliners. The green and black were in the couch print. Yep…gray can really compliment a room.
It’s not about the color, it’s about the high quality of craftsmanship you put into every piece of furniture that leaves your shop.
Thankyou
Exactly😊
Yeah everything this girl does looks new
Yeah; well said.
I came here to say this! It's not the colour, it's the process. Excellent as always.
Personally, I think the soft gray looks great.
How could anyone NOT LIKE THIS. It is absolutely beautiful Trena!
It’s nice to see well made furniture being repurposed, rather than replaced. When the style changes, this dresser can be upgraded again to match that the new style. Your work is stellar as always. Thank you for another fine video.
Thankyou!
Nicely executed it's obvious the customer has a design and wanted to use these pieces. I liked them
The shop crew was doing their job today.
I'm one of those who isn't a fan of gray wood, but with that being said, these look gorgeous. So much better than the two-tone look it was before. Those handles really brought it together!
Thankyou!

I think it’s lovely!
I for one would NOT have thought that gray, as a stain, was in any way pleasing to the eye. But these pieces, as you've finished and tweaked them, are stunning!
Thankyou!
Wow, that looks so sleek! Love maple, and actually that silvery grey is soothing to look at. Great for a bedroom.
I think so too🥰
It looks much better than it did. Very modern.
It’s lovely. 🥰
We've seen many case where you've taken a wreck and turned it into a masterpiece, now we know you can take furniture in good condition and make it better still. Lovely.
Thanks!
The customer is the one that pays you. I think it looks pretty nice. You always do beautiful work. Your customers are lucky.
Thank you very much!
Whatever colour, what amazes me is you Trena working with skills and passion either on an antique piece or a simple style modern piece. And for us who watch is pure joy. Thank you.
Thank you! Cheers!
Surprisingly brilliant! I'm converted to grey.
Looks Great. I would put it in my house.
I absolutely love the color. I think the customer made a great choice. Great job. ❤
I think it looks sharp and certainly would be very happy with it in my home
Love the color.
I like different colors of grays
Hi Trena, that piece no longer looks dated but fresh, love your furry critters, cheers!!!🥰💕👍👍🐩🐈⬛
Absolutely stunning, Trena. ❤ I can just imagine a lovely modern quilt on the bed. The gray would set one off perfectly! As always, you are a color master!!! Cheers, Lili
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful ❤
Classic and beautiful
Looks great; even love the gray
I really do like grey and those pieces are outstanding. I love the detail at the foot of the legs and the delicacy of the top.
I'm afraid to say that some of the furniture I've built for my bedroom has a solid dove grey matt finish...
I really like it. Great job doing what the customer wanted, and making it beautiful!
The grat is gorgous, looks like a bit of blue in it. Now it fits in a new niche.
Nicely done. It gives it an industrial, almost metal vibe, that is clean and neat.
I came here to say the same thing. Imagine seeing those pieces from 30 feet away, then discovering the wood grain as you approach them! And that hardware looks pretty damn cool!!
Very nice,well done
Thank you! Cheers!
Wonderful transformation & I know the customer will be greatly satisfied!!
Looks great Trena
All your projects ( that you show on youtube) always come out beautifully.
Thanks so much 😊
It's a job well done! As usual... 😊
Thank you!
Lovely finish, happy customers is what business is about 👏🏻
So true!
Looks fantastic to me😊
Just lovely.
Variety, as they say, is the spice of life! Looks great...and I also liked the surprise at the end.
Glad you liked it!
I love watching all the old finish come off, but I don't remember it being in sheets before😲. Beautiful job as always.
Nice how you were able to even out the color.
Toning
I will be nice. I LOVE IT. ❤
Awesome! Well done.
I like the color and finish!

Yes! Thank you!
I like it! It’s not like it was a 19th century heirloom to begin with. It was a solid maple piece that was due for a refresh. Beautiful work as always.
Well said!
That is a color I love. Thank you for sharing your techniques.
You are so welcome!
It’s beautiful, love to see the transformation!
Personally, I love gray. This is beautiful to me!
a handsome piece
Looks absolutely beautiful to me. I've worked with my Father building homes for over 50 years. He would always tell me when people wanted something different, brown suits, blue suits. Meaning everyone likes different things.
Beautiful! My parents had a grey bedroom set in the 60s and I always thought it was so pretty!
First thing I thought was "How very 1960!"
I love the grey!
Looks beautiful.😍😍❤💯👌👍
Love it personally!
I think it looks great. Much better than the before.

Yes, nightstand and small chest. But they blend very nicely together.
I like the gray.
Amazing job hiding the holes.
Thanks!
Looks fantastic! I don’t mind the gray 🤷♂️
I’m normally not a fan of grey, but this set of drawers looks very nice, and the hardware really adds to it. I really enjoy watching your videos.
Glad you like them!
Looks great!! Love the gray. ❤
Looks fantastic!
It's a big improvement, and I happen to like grey. The hardware is a great choice as well. It really modernizes the piece.
I wasn't sure at first with the color choice. But when you grouped them up at the end of your video it blew me away. I ❤ the look, great job again Trena. Cheers!
Thank you so much!
Trena you did a beautiful job on this set! I admit I might become a fan of grey!
I don’t normally like painting furniture but this grey stain looks wonderful. 🎉
I enjoy your work. It's so relaxing to watch in the evening after supper.
Glad you enjoy it!
I’m pleasantly surprised with the colour. Love the hardware. It is certainly far more versatile now.
Thats the best grey i've ever seen. Looks very nice, indeed.
Honestly, i think it looks great!

Thank you so much!
Fine job, Trena. I hope the customer is very happy with the work. It is a big wide world and there is room for lots of different choices. But I am glad I don't have to live with that set.
As always, you have deployed considerable skill to make exactly what the customer wants. You are gradually helping me to broaden my tastes.
Great to hear!

I like it!
Stand-alone, the dresser is fine in gray. But as a full set it looks great.
Trenna, its looking great with the grey colour. From what I am looking at, is the grey looks like a off-white colour that blends in its surroundings. Keep up with the great work. Angela from Australia.
Oh thank you!
Upgrading the furniture she has in a manner she chose and done well. Win, win, win. 🥇

Looks great! I like how the warmth of the wood glows through and the hardware is a huge improvement over the originals.
Totally agree!

We not only liked the color, but we happened to use the same pulls (although in a matte-black) on our bathroom cabinets! 😁As always, excellent work.
That is awesome!
I like the grey. It looks Classy just like you said.
I think it turned out beautiful. Great job!!
Thank you! 😊

I ❤ IT!!!!
The grey is beautiful and the hardware makes the color stand out. I would love to see how these pieces are incorporated into the room decor.
You and me both!
Awe, so happy to see shop kitty! 😊
