CFMOTO 450SS I NEED TO TELL YOU WHAT’S GOING ON!
My first motovlog ride on my new 2023 CFMOTO 450ss. I explain why I purchased this bike and talk about why it’s getting so much attention. The MSRP for the 2023 model is $5,499 plus related fees. If you are interested in the CFMOTO 450SS, remember to subscribe because I will have A LOT more videos coming out to include mods, accessories and installation. The CFMOTO 450 SS comes with awesome tech that includes an easy to read dash and gauges. It has bluetooth standard to control your phone and music, plus turn-by-turn navigation from your phone. It’s my belief that this bike has more tech than other bikes in it’s class. Competition for the CFMOTO 450SS includes the Ninja 400, Yamaha R3, CFMOTO 300ss and the QJ Moto 400RR. I prefer the 450SS over all other bikes in this category. My motovlog videos are shot on an Insta360 One X2 360 camera. I talk briefly about how I use the camera and edit the 360 video to make videos of me riding my bike for this channel.

I’ve had so many compliments on this bike just owning 2 weeks now. It hits all the right spots at a reasonable price point as well as fuel economy, value and handling. The tech is spot on and something other bikes will soon have to adapt to. Great video!! keep them coming!

The 450ss has 2 big points
      1. it's got the better sounding 2cylinder. Something Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, etc doesn't have at this class.
      2. The tech on this thing crazy. I'd say the next best/cheapest thing with similar tech is Honda's new Hornet. And that's quite a bit more expensive.
With this said, Kawasaki & Co. have quite a lot to do compete. Yamaha is gonna have a hard time because they're trying to sell their R125 with just a quick shifter for >6000€ (bonkers).

For me, the riding position is more comfortable. That was the main reason I traded my RC 390 on it. Now that I've owned the CFMOTO 450SS for a few weeks, there are A LOT of other things that I like better. Overall fit and finish is better. The power delivery is better... meaning that the the way the transmission uses gears is more smooth on the 450SS. I also love the tech that the 450SS comes standard with. It connects with my phone and/or Cardo unit. It also has built in security. If someone even touched or bumps your bike, it will send an alert to your phone. The 450SS is just a great package.

Resale is always questionable. Resale on a Ninja 400 isn't good either, because so many people buy them as beginner bikes, then get pressured into buying something bigger, so they do a trade-in. There are a lot of preowned Ninja 400's because of that. Honestly through, the 400-700cc bikes are where the best value is. I don't think you have anything to worry about with resale on a CFMOTO 450SS. They are selling for thousands above MSRP at many dealers. I had to shop around to get mine at full-MSRP. Well the people saying you should just buy a 1000 and be done with it are almost right, buy a 600 and be done with it.

@@Kawasaki10rr Always makes me laugh when someone says that. You can go 120 MPH on a 450SS. Certainly enough power for the highway. Enough power to get through traffic easily. No reason to really go that fast in my area anyway. Cops in PA will chase you and the are all over. Great think about smaller bikes is their ability to handle tight turns on backroads. That's where I like to to ride.

@ROBSOLUTELY and how long does it take you to get to 120? Parallel twin engines are slow. I'd prefer to be able to accelerate very quickly just incase I need to so I can get away from a car or something. 600 inline 4s are perfect for the street, not to much power but more than enough.

@@Kawasaki10rr Hey man, I get it. Some guys don't have enough of their own power between their legs, so they have to make up for it in other ways. For me, that's not an issue. Heck, I could get out of traffic easily when I had my little Grom.

If it's your "perfect, super" bike, why are you going to mod it? Just buy a bigger and better bike to begin with. It's a 450cc with all the power of a 400cc. There's nothing awesome about it. It's just another nice bike.
