    People keep saying that CFmoto paid for good reviews, and that this is just another Chinesium potmetal piece of garbage. But I dont see anything like that with this bike and I absolutely plan on buying this over the Ninja 400 or the Yamaha R3. I think CFmoto is going to dominate the market with the price, and I expect this bike will become more and more popular once they prove themselves as a reliable, aggressively priced, and well built brand.

    • @CharlieDTE
      @CharlieDTE  10 місяців тому +5

      Honestly, I can see why people are saying that. It's not very often that a brand new bike is released, let alone a Chinese one, and all the big time UA-camrs and motorcycle reviewers say things like "I'm having a hard time finding anything bad about this bike".
      CFmoto's success in this market will be all about their longevity and reliability. If these bikes are still running strong with no major known issues about 15K miles, then people will start believing.

    • @Compton3clipsed
      @Compton3clipsed 10 місяців тому +4

      @@CharlieDTE Yes, but CFMoto, in their defense and unlike many other of the start up out of nowhere Chinese companies, does at least have a long history of developing motorcycle engines and parts for KTM and even Kawasaki (I believe), so that would be a good reason that they may be knocking it out and not making the stupid mistakes.

    • @CharlieDTE
      @CharlieDTE  10 місяців тому +3

      @@Compton3clipsed totally agree - I’m not overly concerned with the engine to be honest. I think more of my concern will ultimately be around the electronics (display, lights, overall wiring, etc) on the bike and maybe the quality of nuts and bolts over time. Nobody wants to perform maintenance in a 3 year old bike and have to worry about every bolt they touch breaking.
      My initial verdict is that these bikes are of very good quality, and I’m hoping I’m not wrong! But, we unfortunately won’t know that for a few years.

    People seriously underestimate the capabilities modern Chinese manufacturing. Anyone deep into the knife community can pretty quickly point to names like Reate and Bestech who are currently making arguably the highest quality production knives in the world. I only see CFmoto getting better and better as time goes on, and it seems like they are already doing extremely well.

      Indeed, unfortunately, most people only buy cheap Chinese products to save money, and then accuse them of being made in China when they encounter problems. You should know that China can manufacture almost any product in the world: good quality, poor quality, very expensive or very cheap.

      I appreciate all your comments, and the time you've spent watching my videos!
      I personally chose this bike over the Kawasaki for some of the reasons I called out in this video. I felt like I was getting more value for this bike than I was for the Ninja 400. Sure, the N400 has a great reputation, but it's just a little stale in my opinion. But, the biggest driving factors of my decision were the ergonomics (I like the way this bike feels more than the N400) and the exhaust note.

      @@clintb3927 absolutely! More competition in this space would be phenomenal. You shouldn’t have to spend $10,000+ to own a half decent motorcycle with some cool features. CFmoto is showing that it can be done at a reasonable price. Ninja ZX4-RR is a fantastic stepping stone to a new world of bikes, but comes with a very hefty price tag.

    Why does this video feel like it was recorded in the 90s,
    Something wrong with your camera?

      @CharlieDTE  11 місяців тому

      Sorry, not sure why it feels that way. On my end the video plays in 1080P at 60FPS...I will admit the lighting wasn't the greatest, so that could be causing it to seem lower quality. I'll work on getting better content out moving forward!
