Awesome bike. I got it in the EU and still can't believe that basically the cheapest bike in the 400-ish category turns so many heads and people actually come to ask you about it. I had it for like 3 months now and no issues so far. Sometimes the engine, or the chain, sounds a little bit rattly but I've read that it's not actually an issue, so yeah, we'll see. Very good bike overall with and amazing bang for buck.
Hi. Can I please ask, I've got a new 450 about a month ago and I was wondering do you get a clunk or thud when you change gears? The gear thud or clunk is worse on down shifts. Does your bike do this on gear changes? I've taken the bike back to the dealers twice now and they tell me this is normal. Do you get the same thing?
It does from time to time, not at every shift. I also asked around and other bikes do it too apparently, so I took as normal. I think sometimes the current gear does not engage perfectly and somehow it corrects itself on the next gear shift and makes that clunking noise. Or maybe it’s related to how the clutch engages
@@richardchileshe9910if you blip the throttle on downshift and roll off on upshifts you never get that. That clunk is just engine trying to match speed of transmission....not being matched. Not an issue really just need more practice.
@@OneHunDon I’ve used it for a couple rides. The only weirdness about the nav is when you get close to the turn it’ll tell you how far you are in ft lol. Otherwise I like using the app to see where I went, how long, how fast, and if I did anything weird during the ride (sudden braking. Sudden acceleration. Too much lean)
I had the 300SS and just upgraded to the 450SS so many differences and I love it. Both very good beginner bikes. I think the 450 rides smoother. The power isn’t too much and just enough for now.
Yes bought one recently. I purchased a keychain that says, I love you more… The end. I win. I was going to give it to my gf but that is for my 450ss now 😂
Savings up for this started with cruiser bike rebel 500 but a lot of stuff that bike doesn’t have for that price want something for my 5’6 height and me being a beginner
From what I’ve seen it combines all My rides for the day… it’s also in kph and not mph, no matter what I set the metric to. Hopefully they’ll come out with an American optimization update lol
Has to connect to phone try searching bike with phone. Pair it up....the KPH can be switched in app and on bike. Have to select units. Gives you everything you need to know about bike. I have used Google maps and it has worked.

@@richardchileshe9910 i read the same thing from others, some said their dealer filled up the oil with the bike being straight, but in the manual it says its designed to fill up the oil while being on the side stand. Maybe ask if they filled it up propperly. If thats not the issue i dont know either.

Replacing the chain with a good one will solve this problem.
I am thinking of buying trunk boxes and rack that mount to this bike, radiator guard, engine guards so can go on a 6 hour trip to my brothers.

this is my first bike and so far it's been great to learn on. Very forgiving, not easy to stall, just enough power for me (a smaller girl). I love it.
Do you use the app that works with the bike often? If so how’s the nav and tracking ?

I can’t wait till they drop the 500cc in-line 4 for 2024 to compete against the Kawasaki 4RR

Excellent bike. That us my next one ate either the 500 cc model that they are making. Riding the clx-700 sport at the moment. That is a keeper.
