From what I understand from the Dune Awakenings discord is that Funcom are looking to avoid putting the game out on early access and are hoping to go full release on day 1 though they aren't taking EA off the table. As for release date my personal view is not only are they being unnecessarily reticent in announcing a launch date or at least a launch window but if they don't announce it during gamescom I think it'll be 2025.
@ArrakisCentral I doubt it'll be that late. I'm thinking worst case is Q2 of next year. Best case is December this year. People have already speculated that it'll be this year including IGN

I think that probably an accurate assessment. Im leaning more towards late next year for release. Hope it doesn’t end like Star Citizen lol
