A guy who says the list contains all the games that redefined gaming, but there is no zelda, no Mario, no Crash, etc… there ain’t Indies even, this shit is simply shit
I love how you have the title in the top left corner at all times. So helpful if you're skipping back and forth. Many a UA-camr could learn this from you.
Yeah, totally underrated and unfairly criticized. It took me a couple hours to get into it, but I gave it a chance and it hooked me. It deserved a sequel - with co-op. Some of my favorite missions were when I was riding with someone else, even though they were just an NPC. You could have a lot of fun with a buddy on the hordes.

Days Gone definitely the most underrated game I’ve ever played. Thought it would be okay but ultimately forgettable and it was so much better than I thought. Like you said, it gets better the more it goes, and after a while I realized I couldn’t put it down. The gameplay is so well done and gets better the more you go, and the story is the same
Good Choices! RDR 2, TLOU, Uncharted 4, and Detroit are all on my list! Others I would have added: Uncharted 2 Far Cry 3 Heavy Rain Skyrim Resident Evil 4 COD Black Ops 1
Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Uncharted 4, Red Read Redemption 2... Those games are true masterpieces! All of them made me get really immersed and sad when I finished. Simply amazing games!
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the greatest success stories of all-time. After one of the worst launches in AAA Gaming history, the fact that the devs didn't give up on it and made hundreds of patches to turn it into easily one of the best games ever, is insane in itself.
@@DaBearsManiac2 Maybe it's just me, but honestly I dont even like Cyberpunk that much now. I love RPG games and even preordered Cyberpunk, but I just feel the story itself is kinda mids, and the beginning choice had no impact on the rest of the decisions made. That being said tho, the switch up was absolutely insane so good on the devs for that
@jamesmulligan2924 the first hour of days gone i was convinced it was gonna be trash, well the story and writing anyway. Actually turned out to be a great story. I do wish the world had more realistic stuff, like the collecting scrap from cars gor really boring.
Yes, but small content online, lack of text chat, bad voice chat, feels like few players online and all the cheaters is strange. They don't have the private sessions either on PC like they have for GTA 5 - this was a great protection against cheaters. Still worth 10 bucks, but still...
Some honorable mentions I would've picked: -Sleeping Dogs: One of the best hand to hand combat systems in any game, very underrated as well -Dishonored(1&2): Playing as Corvo during the plague period was a golden experience.
1. Ghost of Tsushima 2. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag 3. The Last of Us Part I 4. Cyberpunk 2077 5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 6. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End 7. Batman: Arkham Knight 8. God of War Ragnarök 9. Days Gone 10. A Plague Tale: Innocence 11. Mark of the Ninja 12. Detroit: Become Human 13. Dying Light 14. Tomb Raider 15. Red Dead Redemption 2
I really tried to like RDR2 but couldn't. Most of the game feels like a chore. I have to worry about eating, sleeping, bathing, shaving, hunting, etc, as well as taking care of my horse OMFG!! It's a great game but not for me. Now mind you, I love RPGs, I've played Skyrim, Witcher 3, and souls games, but this game was just too realistic for me.
This script screams like it was written with ChatGPT, and it's obviously a neural text-to-speech voice. ("10 by 10", "Cyberpunk Two-Thousand-And-Seventy-Seven", etc.) That said, it's a good list.
I am a 64 year-old player who started on computer games in 1979 with the ZX spectrum. I had Commodore Amiga, 3DO from Panasonic Jaguar from Atari and many other consoles. I had all the games machines and I was the first owner of the PlayStation in Europe. Played tomb Raider one before Europe had a PlayStation. I agree almost 100% with your list and it is quite funny because the only two games I played twice were black flag and days gone. I truly believe there are masterpieces. There is only one game that I consider extremely original, and that is what I’m looking for all the time after 45 years of gaming, that you didn’t have on your list and it was a pity. I’m referring to death stranding. It is one of the weirdest but most creative games I’ve ever played. And since I was a creative advertiser for 30 years, I really know about the subject. Maybe you hadn’t played this game yet, but it is a jewel. Still, I consider your list probably the best I’ve ever seen. Kudos to you.
So happy to see Days Gone on here!! It has left the most impact on me of all the games I've played! It's so underrated, I've played through multiple times, and still can't get enough! Forever waiting and hoping for a sequel. Thanks to this game I bought a motorcycle and been riding for a few years now! TLOU both 1st and 2nd are amazingggg!! The story is unmatched by any other game. And I so love RDR2, man I've spent so many hours just exploring and hunting and enjoying the nature. And GOW of course with it's epic battles and puzzles and the story. I'm so glad to be living in this time where such amazing games are available!!
@@AdrianGarcia-ww1ik because of the woke brigade like you, oooo abbies ugly waaaaa waaaaa joel died waaaaa waaaaaa 🤣🤣 the game was a masterpiece other than some questionable story choices
your video truly shines with the pacing. not too many cuts and a perfect amount of gameplay to get a glimpse of the game, but not get bored. VERY well done.
This is such a great video. The fact that the first few titles are all my favorites means I’m going to try some of the titles I’ve never played. Thanks
A gamer advice: never play rdr2 first You must play it at the end because you wont be able to play any game after it for atleast 2 weeks you will get bored from any other game after it. A real masterpiece
@defaultsettings9460 first two chapters will seem boring.. find fast horses locations from the youtube and explore the map and gold locations to get some money. The game will become great after that and you will not feel bored.
Nah, you have to love Rockstar and RDR1 in order to love RDR2. Which is probably why you loved it so much. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it my first time around as well, it was the only game I played for about a month or 2… but when I went back to polish off more achievements it required having to restart the whole game due to missable achievements that I didn’t get on my first time playing. Mannnn that shit was so boring I didn’t even make it half way lol. I even unlocked fast travel ASAP and that still has its downsides. Which makes it one of the hardest games to 100%/Platinum.
@brett81630 i played it without playing rdr1.. rdr2 is the first in the order of story. And i finished rdr2 without knowing there was a fast travel and i didnt search for it because i didnt need it. The horse was enough for me to find fast horses and some horse races in rhodes and trying to make some cloth from the animals skin. If you only focus on the story it will be boring even if the story was a masterpiece.
Played all of these. Now I just sit here, staring at my library, wishing I could erase my memory and experience them all over again. Gaming peaked, now I’m just in the DLC called ‘Waiting for Something This Good Again.’
I am proud to have played and own every game on this list. Unfortunately, the PS5 hasn't gotten an exceptional game yet. Hopefully something good will drop soon. Lovely list bro. You've earned a sub! P.s Witcher 3 is my favourite game of all time. I'm currently on my 12th play through 😂😂😂
half of the games on this list aint even near perfect, some of it r valid but tbh most of these feels so generic and saying cyberpunk perfect is diabolical
I love that you included Days Gone! I just finished it yesterday and I saw that it got a lot of criticism. And although I personally have a few too I genuinely cannot understand where they come from. To me it’s one of the most enjoyable and good vibed games I’ve played. Is it a masterpiece? Maybe not, but good god, it’s a strong game!
Probably thee best game suggesting content iv ever seen! Absolute gems in this list! My personal favourites were (Black Flag / Dying Light 1 & 2 / Red Dead 2). Those 3 games were super satisfying to play through.
Finally, someone actually respects black flag and AC game series. I feel many players think games must be challenging or competitive, for example elden ring, actually the AC series has a very easy gameplay. But it is about the experience you get while playing. The AC series has the freedom to explore the land, the freedom I felt while playing the game, it is beautiful. I will never forget such a beautiful game.
this list is what the best buy employee recommends to you if you’re getting a console for the first time ever. a few great game, a few decent ones, and then their personal favorites with no objectivity on whether or not the game is actually good
True he sounds like he first started playing video games as a kid with the PlayStation 4 and now he has a PS5. Mark of the Ninja is just the only indie game he's ever touched 😂
Great list! I'll use this to pick my next title! If this list were a bit bigger, I could see Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice fitting in here. More story and experience than action, but the action is pretty on point when it does happen and the immersion level is insane, especially with stereo headphones on.

Great list! And I like the fact that you include *your* opinions! Don't listen to the haters that cry their favourite games weren't on your list, they can go make their own. Keep being original, and you will for sure succeed.
Rdr2 is the best game ever made . can't believe that rock star turned me into cowboy fan especially for a video game. I'm so glad that people kept on recommending it to me. so happy that I finally ended up it a shot when i did. It's literally changed my life. never would have thought I would enjoy the genre the only downside to the game is that it ruins other games for you.they set the bar way to high with this master piece ❤❤❤❤
Rdr2 online Halloween event (which I believe they are still doing every Halloween) is The best gaming experience I've ever had , should be a full game or dlc like RDR 1's undead nightmare.
Literally played them all. Great list. Although all masterpieces, I'm 45 and don't have time nor the energy or drive to finish most modern open world games. However, 3 games in this list I did play for days/weeks on end without stopping, untill I finished them. It's very rare for modern games to capture my attention 100%, but these 3 did, they're that good! 1) Rdrd2, if you're into Westerns, cowboys and the wild west, say no more. Nothing comes even remotely close to this absolute master piece of a game. 2) Cyberpunk 2077, a game that truly immerses you in a futuristic world with endless possibilities. The entire vibe of the world is simply unrivaled. Possibly thé best game I've ever played, and I literally been playing games since the 80's. Been there, seen it, done it. But Cyberpunk 2077 delivered an experience like no other. 3) Uncharted 4. The closest thing to being Indiana Jones while remaining seated in the comfort of your own home. This game just does it all, and excels in all. Story telling, adventure, puzzles, action, graphics, gameplay, beautiful scenes, idyllic locations and a great dose of humor. It's just the complete package. The linear nature of the game makes it perfect for the more casual gamers or for instance dads like me that just want to enjoy a relaxing yet exciting experience after a hard day's of work and the intensely draining tasks of fatherhood. All 15 on the list are next level good, but those 3 are my absolute picks. I would highly recommend them to everyone, then again, I assume everyone played them already.... If not...why you're still on UA-cam? Go play them!
I'm 42 and I completely agree with you and your list. Rdr2 is just on another wavelength. The moment when Arthur comes back from the island, finds a horse and heads back to his camp. That whole sequence itself made me realize I am playing a masterpiece and nothing will ever come close!
Kudos !!! this is the best "must have" video i have ever seen. I'm a new PS player so this helped me a lot to decide in which game should i invest time and money
What genre do you like. What previous games did you enjoy before. Trust me 1. Ghost of Tsushima 2. Horizon Zero Dawn 3. Red Dead Redemption 2 (Check Google game reviews and you'll get indepth information about the game and from there decide which game you fancy challenging . All the best
Diverse Opinions, People are expressing What they think is 10/10 just like the creator did, it may sound negative but it's human nature to support those who relate to you the most rather than those who don't (the game may be or may not be better, doesn't matter, to them it's what they like the most so it should be in the list ) ♈
The Last of Us is probably the best video game ever made. I remember when I went to buy it. The guy behind the counter said, "do you have kids"? I had just had my daughter and said yes he cringed and told me to get ready to shed a tear. This game had me balling and it pulled me in more than any other game had ever before,it was one of the first games that had me paying attention to the story,it changed how I played and how I look at gaming A Masterpiece.

Should’ve put a horror section. Personally, my favourite horror game is until dawn, it was just so iconic in horror category and I don’t think anything has topped it yet
I mean outlast is also pretty good. It's a little old, but I still think it's great. But don't even get me started on The Forest! That game *consumed* me for like a month! Such a banger to play with friends!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a UA-cam video with a more well written narration. Further, the content has inspired me to look at a lot of games and even genres of games that I have not yet seen and I’m now excited to experience. Outstanding work, my friend. I liked, subscribed, and commented, even though I’ll probably never be back this or a channel like this. lol. Cheers.
Pretty apparent it's written and narrated by AI dude; the sentences repeat the tell-tale signatures of ChatGPT particularly. Of course it sounds "so perfect and flawless". But the AI couldn't pronounce Harran in Dying Light 2, and the video is Dying Light 2 not Dying Light.
Hahaha. Omg. Ok. wait. Do you mean my post? No, that’s just me. I don’t know if I should be flattered or wounded. I’m a writer, so maybe that came across. I’ll put some bad grammar and diction in the next one, and maybe just say sh$t that isn’t true. Or would that be counterproductive. It’s sad that when someone reads something besides “I think good. I’m having a good time watching. Please mak somemore like this one.” Is this AI too?? Jesus. This is where we are now.

Days Gone.... Severely underrated game. Im playing it now on my second playthrough and it's even better than i remember it. Solid game, awesome story, and just enough but not to much open world, just as it should be.
@@JasonKeck39it's funny you say that, because I think that what they probably mean is when a game gives you space to go wherever you want and do whatever you want, but there's also like a billion objectives all the time that you are able to do, it's....overwhelming. and most games nowadays are obsessed with being these HUGE open worlds like that's THE formula, and honestly if you're anything like me where you are kind of a completionist, it is EXHAUSTING to go into the game knowing that there's like a billion things you need to do just to progress in the game. Games that are a little bit more linear can actually be really nice. Does that make sense?
@@JasonKeck39 okay good I'm glad it makes sense! That's also why I think Elden Ring (I have yet to play it) has done SO well, but from what I understand it has this giant open world and there's a bunch of stuff you can do but they really avoid having hardly any quest markers, so that gives you more incentive to explore at your own pace and it's not overwhelming because you don't feel like you have too much to do. Or in the case of God of war 2018 (my favorite game of all time) it has a big world and there's lots of stuff you can do, but it's designed where you only spend time in individual sections, and in each section of the game you can only do so much so it doesn't get to be TOO much. Those are two games that I would argue have perfectly nailed their Giant open world with lots of stuff without making it "too much".
@@JasonKeck39 When the open world completely removes you from the storyline, ergo, you dont actually have to play the game because theres so much to do in the open world that you get lost in that instead. Im not saying these games are bad, im saying Days gone is perfectly balanced, the open world is mostly there to give you resources in able to push foward in the story. As opposed to games where the open world is a game or games in itself.
@@bdleo300 It's just not for you. A lot of people love to take it slow and immerse themselves in a game world with interesting characters and lots of things to do, and RDR2 lets you do that.

Lol CDPR simps are cringe. Cyberpuke 2077 is still the same mediocre game with 'only' half of bugs.
It’s a real shame about days gone and how the studio has abandoned it. It deserves a 2nd chance, especially with the cliffhanger of an ending.
True,
Instead Sony would rather focus on live service games
Ironic that these big companies have a venomous hate for the games their players loves the most.
@jamesmulligan2924 the first hour of days gone i was convinced it was gonna be trash, well the story and writing anyway. Actually turned out to be a great story. I do wish the world had more realistic stuff, like the collecting scrap from cars gor really boring.
RDR2 is one of the best games ever made , the intense details, every move, graphic, the story and the characters are indescribable.
Yes, but small content online, lack of text chat, bad voice chat, feels like few players online and all the cheaters is strange. They don't have the private sessions either on PC like they have for GTA 5 - this was a great protection against cheaters. Still worth 10 bucks, but still...
Very great list, some honourable mentions I would like to add are:
Persona 5
Bloodborne
Resident evil 4
Devil may cry 5
Sekiro
Someone likes FromSoftware type games lol
It's a joke that RDR2 didn't win the GOTY.
It's not a joke but a crime
RDR2 is the greatest game ever created
Rdr2 is love
Red Dead is a 9 at best.
GoW is a masterpiece
But RDR2 should have won this
Some honorable mentions I would've picked:
-Sleeping Dogs: One of the best hand to hand combat systems in any game, very underrated as well
-Dishonored(1&2): Playing as Corvo during the plague period was a golden experience.
1. Ghost of Tsushima
2. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
3. The Last of Us Part I
4. Cyberpunk 2077
5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
6. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
7. Batman: Arkham Knight
8. God of War Ragnarök
9. Days Gone
10. A Plague Tale: Innocence
11. Mark of the Ninja
12. Detroit: Become Human
13. Dying Light
14. Tomb Raider
15. Red Dead Redemption 2

The horizon games are def games that people should add to the list of games to play
Played 14 of them. Rdr2 simply a few levels above the rest. That game makes me so hyped for gta6
Yep there aren’t many games that are on that level
what would you say was your second favourite?
I really tried to like RDR2 but couldn't. Most of the game feels like a chore. I have to worry about eating, sleeping, bathing, shaving, hunting, etc, as well as taking care of my horse OMFG!! It's a great game but not for me. Now mind you, I love RPGs, I've played Skyrim, Witcher 3, and souls games, but this game was just too realistic for me.
Booooring and overhyped (like most of these games). Even RDR1 is better.
Tomb raider 2013 is honestly one of my favorite games. It should get so much more recognition
I've only played 3 games on this list but those 3 games were some of the most fun I've had gaming.
Which ones?
@christianTs825 Black Flag, Uncharted 4, and Arkham Knight. Arkham Knight is in my top-3 most enjoyable games of all time
you should try RDR2 it is a masterpiece
This script screams like it was written with ChatGPT, and it's obviously a neural text-to-speech voice. ("10 by 10", "Cyberpunk Two-Thousand-And-Seventy-Seven", etc.)
That said, it's a good list.
Ghost of Tsushima, Witcher 3, RDR2.
Best games of all time!
RDR2 just hits different. Honestly its so impactful that I think not just every gamer but every human should experience it.
Why exclude other forms of intelligence like AGI, beings that become self-aware, or other extraterrestrial life that visits our world?
I love how out of all the beautiful locations in Witcher 3, you chose a pitch black cave to showcase the gameplay :D
Uncharted 4 is my favorite. I love the stories and the gameplay.
Yeaa that game is special🫶
Totally with u on Days Gone! Such an amazing game and story.

A gamer advice: never play rdr2 first
You must play it at the end because you wont be able to play any game after it for atleast 2 weeks you will get bored from any other game after it. A real masterpiece
I got out of the snow area and made it to the camp and quit soon after. The game was extremely boring for me. What am I missing?
@defaultsettings9460 first two chapters will seem boring.. find fast horses locations from the youtube and explore the map and gold locations to get some money. The game will become great after that and you will not feel bored.
@@defaultsettings9460 bro same, i quit after the snow area

Bonus points for Days Gone. Favorite zombie game ever, outside of Last of Us
Tomb raider 2013 i don't even remember how many times i played this game loved it so much .
Moral of the story, there are too many amazing games to choose from
Great list! I'll use this to pick my next title! If this list were a bit bigger, I could see Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice fitting in here. More story and experience than action, but the action is pretty on point when it does happen and the immersion level is insane, especially with stereo headphones on.

Days Gone was so fucking good. Gameplay was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a video game.
Great list! And I like the fact that you include *your* opinions! Don't listen to the haters that cry their favourite games weren't on your list, they can go make their own. Keep being original, and you will for sure succeed.
That's AI you absolute tool, making random bs lists for easy money. Keep simping for AI lol
Uncharted 4, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Ghost of Tsushima and Uncharted Lost Legacy has amazing graphics and they're very good games.
One of my favourite things about black flag was the sea shanties. Sometimes i would just be sailing and not doing anything but vibe to them.
True words spoken.
So glad to see Days Gone getting recognized.
Love seeing Days Gone get a mention
Most of the first shown games I own or plan to buy. W list
This game just does it all,
and excels in all.

The 2 games I will check out since we have the same thoughts on 13 others .... ThNks for the list man and gold job on the video
I haven't played ragnarok yet (still need to finish the 2018 God of war) but I swear I've seen so many people say the story is 10x worse in ragnarok... so im glad to see people like it here.
@@YoBrand15 some the story is full circle from the old God of war of 2018 and if you know mythology they do a very good job of paralleling the game and the actual myths... Also being able to play as Atreus and hear his voice get kind of deeper throughout the game it's kind of awesome because it's like kind of maturing with the character but other than that it's a great God of war game kratos is still a badass there's loot everywhere and it was just dope fucking fights.
@@royalnerd717 would you say the combat is better than 2018?
@@YoBrand15 more expanded... It's the same as 2018 but with added perks.
@@royalnerd717 eh kind of disappointing that it's not a bit more different. But the combat of 2018 is pretty good.
What an amazing list of games, hard to disagree with any of your picks 👏

@@AdoreYouInAshXI :)
Well played.
@@koresoteira447 I should put Veilguard on there when it comes out.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (i swear this is the most slept on game ever), Persona 5, Baldurs gate 3 - here are the games I replay when theres nothing appealing out.
Nice list!
RDR2 is the perfect most amazing astrounding game i've ever played in my whole life

@@goniono9436 I've never played it.
@@TyeDye622 play it, its amazing. But wait for discount on steam or get a key for it. There are ways to get it cheaper for 30€ or smh
I like how tye video explains why a game is good. Like how he talked about ghosts of tsushima, i have heard it's good, but now I know I am gonna love it before even playing!
Ai is getting out of hand
best list ive ever seen
Days Gone.... Severely underrated game. Im playing it now on my second playthrough and it's even better than i remember it. Solid game, awesome story, and just enough but not to much open world, just as it should be.
I personally don’t think you can have a “too much of an open world” game. 😁 What game fits that description?
@@JasonKeck39it's funny you say that, because I think that what they probably mean is when a game gives you space to go wherever you want and do whatever you want, but there's also like a billion objectives all the time that you are able to do, it's....overwhelming. and most games nowadays are obsessed with being these HUGE open worlds like that's THE formula, and honestly if you're anything like me where you are kind of a completionist, it is EXHAUSTING to go into the game knowing that there's like a billion things you need to do just to progress in the game. Games that are a little bit more linear can actually be really nice.
Does that make sense?
@@jordanfelt5978 Yes .. I totally agree with you. I guess it can be too open world! Or at least they can definitely put too much into it.
I have played most of these and I love everyone I've played.
Ngl Rdr2 literally changes my taste in game. Now every game seem to not meet my expectations
Only bad thing about red dead redemption 2 is that it ruins every other game
@@JarringSteaknope. The bad thing about rdr2 is its online
Incredibly boring, the most overrated game ever (apart from The Last of Us).
@@bdleo300 It's just not for you. A lot of people love to take it slow and immerse themselves in a game world with interesting characters and lots of things to do, and RDR2 lets you do that.
Days gone is a masterpiece
Good list but I think Elden ring should be on it imo one of the best games of all time
Great list! So happy to see you discovered Days Gone! Has become my favorite game of all time.
I am going to save this video I will play all these games when I get my dream pc.
I love the Uncharted series but I have to say, Nathan killed more people than Stalin…
😂
People whos never played The Witcher 3 needs to play it if you like open world. It's one of the best games of all time if not the best game of all time
Great list! Days Gone is a perfect game and so underrated. Played it twice and loved it both times.
Also liked it but don't have time to play twice
Days Gone is my all time Favorite game ever! I want a sequel so badly!!!❤
Yeah I don't understand why it wasn't a bigger deal.
The media panned it on launch because of the bugs. But once sorted it's up there with the very best games. I loved it and was so disappointed they didn't make a second game.
You can't play Red Dead just once unless you never stop playing it like me 😂
