Magnetic Stirrer (mixers) - Are they worth it for brewing & mixing spirit flavours?

- I bought a standard magnetic stirrer to see if it would help me mix flavours to spirit. Here I mix a Still Spirits' Raspberry Vodka to 1 Litre of neutral spirit.
putting some o rings on the bar may fix the issue from having it thrown off the center
Not heard of that before, but worth a try.

Hi, the jar is actually a replacement Cafetiere jug! I bought 2 each of the Small, Medium & Large (500ml, 1L, 1.5L). Then I used my label gun and a 100ml syringe to mark out the 100ml levels. You can buy them very cheaply from places like Walmart. I prefer these than standard kitchen measuring jugs. I have had mine for over 6 years now and the labels are still perfect, even though they are washed in the dishwasher.

Hi Tony, you should be able to use plastic containers, yes. The only potential issue is that plastic is not as smooth as glass, so the mixing paddle may not spin as far as it needs to.
