For these who might need it. According to manual: Sc: is the error calibration value which is the difference between the set and actual temperature. (default value 0.0) Ajustuble range (-9.0...9.0) E: critical value before heater enter into slow heating speed (default value 0.5). P: equal set value minus (10/P). If temp set = 50° and P set = 10 then heater starts to control heating speed when temperature is reaches 49°. If P=4 then it start to control heating speed when temperature reaches 47.5° Decrease P when temperature is in huge disparity, increase P if temperature rising to slow. When P set to zero heater switches to mode when PID will NOT WORK. It will not start heating unless set temperature is higher then actual temperature. C: (default value 20). Not recomended to change.
I know Vevor is cheap stuff, but it does work for what you need it for. I buy these products fully aware that it may not even work. It says it heats up to 212f.
The reason why the temperature is not controlling it self is because there is a fault in the unit. A lot of VEVEOR's do this. Open the unit and look for a broken or bad plug to your temp sensor. Vevor is not a "quality"brand of equipment. First time I use my machine different to this, it absolutely cooked the parts.
Awe thankyou.hope i helped you in someways.everything today seems to have a menu in display.there is still a couple things in there i havent figured out yet.thanks for watching.
has anyone tried putting temperature resistant foam or anything on the top surface? so you don't burn yourself and also to cover the gap at the base of the heating plate. I'm just wondering if it's a good or bad idea
I have the same unit too. I can not control temperature. Its first stops at the set temperature and show alarm. But after a few seconds, its goes increasing very fast too 100 oC. Do you have solution for that. 😢
Hi😃im sure if i had it in front of me id find solution.honestly, my best advice would be to stay away from that unit.its very unsafe, the potential for electric shock is quite high.mine is strangely still working, but i only use it for short heats.i have a omnilab now.its a very nice unit and very safe unit.they are not super expensive.best wishes to you🙂.
I’m having problems losing heat even when it’s calling for it. I changed Some of the Settings but even when matching your settings it still losing heat, so can you please help me
Hard to say with out seeing.what form of glassware, whats the volume and target temperature?it may sound unrelated to check this, but id confirm that its reading temp right to start.id use another known accurite temp sensor or bulb thermometer to make sure the probe(vevor) is reading right.as i do believe theres a cal. In menu.if that checks fine .the hysteresis may need tightend up in menu.good luck.

Thanku very much for the awesome info.i could not find that info.😃
what is C exactly and why it is not recommended to change?

Yeah I agree.i like that you used ,"fully aware".🙂thanku for comment.honestly, they are unsafe though😄.

thank you so much for this, it explained everything because the plate didnt come with anything or any instructions😂✌️

It think that would be bad,I put high temp fiberglass tubing over element connections..it doesn't take well.
I had to take it back to the eBay seller, because it did not work properly, so don't buy it it's not worth the money.
Yeah i agree.thanku for comment🙂

So don't buy it. Thanks.
Things a pos😂 seriously not worth the money way to complicated t set temp idk why it won't just set the fucking temp as displayed
