    Those are handy, for myself when I need to stir harder to dissolve powder I actually bought a Hamilton beach shake mixer and that does a great job and it comes with the stainless steel cup to mix it. Great demo thanks for sharing.

      Thanks, I don't personally like all the noise from blenders, mixers and even the handheld smoothie makers. Some mixes do better and end up with more dissolved solids after a lengthy stir cycle. Lots of options depending on the desired end result. After the initial stir, this is silent running and I really like that.

    • @alteregos8949
      @alteregos8949 7 років тому +2

      Frederick Dunn somehow i can understand that you’re a probably a quiet person given how soft spoken you are also. Not a bad thing at all and I assumed that’s why you preferred the magnetic method version a typical rotary blending method. Personal choice and having different ways are a good thing and I actually may try the magnetic method myself just for the heck of it.

      Hi Sam, thanks for that question, but unfortunately, I have a collection of stirrers and just added the one with them and can't recall which one was included. I "think" it was about an inch and a half in length? I tried to add a 3" stirrer and it completely failed, so you have to keep the length under 2" if you want it to remain in the center.

    Hi frederick how goes your bees you look like experienced can you tell which bees can fight varroa without threat

    • @FrederickDunn
      @FrederickDunn  7 років тому

      Hi Max Bees, my bees are doing extremely well. This year, in particular, I wanted to make videos showing varroa in worker brood or drone cells and the hygienic behavior of my bees causes them to remove varroa destructor mites before I can locate and photograph them. I also have an observation hive/colony that is completely untreated and they also are too effective at removing varroa for me to capture the evidence. I do monitor them and they are handling varroa without intervention. Look into BeeWeaver and learn more about the genetics they are working with, these are the bees I've used for over 10 years.
