- So the parts I got were from Moog suspension, and I got them all from suspension.com. Got here relatively quick free shipping and they seemed like overall very high-quality parts, that being said I am not sponsored obviously.

This was a great video. I did an overhaul on mine recently and I wish I watched this first.

Glad I could help! Keep on trucking!
Best video hands down
Appreciate it! Hope it helped make your job easier!
awesome video, really helpful.
Glad I was able to help . Thank you for watching.
Tighten the upper control arm bushing bolts, after lowering truck to ground. Curious why you did not change inner & outer tie rod ends while you had every thing apart? Doing so then, would have saved yourself time, and money in getting one less recommended front alignment.
That is a very good question. I guess I didn’t think about those parts 😂 oops
Very helpful thank you man!
Glad it helped!
Good vid dude. Just did upper control arms on my 2001 Mazda b2300/Ranger. All of your tips and strategic placement of wood on the jack. Awesome shade tree mechanic dude.
Do you need to change your valve cover gasket?...lol Make a vid so I can see all the hidden stuff haynes forgot to share....lol
Haha glad I was able to help you out man! My valve cover gaskets for sure need changed. Doing injectors right now then I can start getting the stuff for that video too! Keep your eyes peeled if you have time to wait. Lots of crap has to come off to get to them but now that I have the intake manifold off it doesn’t look to terrible under there.
tremendous video sir,how many hours did it take you to do both sides?i just need to replace both lower but your video gives me confidence to go ahead without a spring compressor 😊
I would a lot a day for both sides. Just make sure you have all the tools you need, a believe I posted what tools were needed can’t remember. Not using a spring compressor worked for me. Took a few ups and downs to get it to sit in the hat right but cheaper than a spring compressor. You got this! Just if you live in the rust belt then be ready to fight it.
@@Papajoesgarage thankfully we out here in texas, really appreciate the help sir
@@nomercynomad for sure! Make sure to check over your brakes rotors and wheel bearings. I found my wheel bearing were bad when I started this project.
How often do you replace hub assemblies on Ford rangers? I've heard that sometimes they don't need to be replaced. This includes the bearings
I haven’t done mine yet. But at 74k the right is bad. And we have a parts truck at work that’s an 07 with maybe 130k and we had do to them on that one too. I think it is just hot or miss. I will replace everything just because I want it all new so I don’t have to do it again.
Plan on doing rear leafs?
I’m hoping in the next few months to be doing the 3 inch drop rear leafs and 3 in drop front coil overs. If things work out right.
How hard was it to replace the shocks shade tree style?
How do you mean shade free style?
@@Papajoesgarage without a lift, using just basic stuff (floor jack, etc)
@@Papajoesgarage I guess what I'm really asking is how hard was it to do yourself? What did you need to do it and how long did it take?
I get ya it wasn’t to bad. I didn’t even have a good floor jack and was able to get it done in probably 3 hours. First side took the longest cause I hadent done it before but the second side went quick. Be sure to watch my trick I did with the jack under the sprong
