Just like of the rest of the comments... A BIG THANK YOU. Regardless of how tiny an issue you run across, we greatly appreciate any issue fixes you run across. Especially for us 1st time to RAM owners.
thank you so much! I've had it in to 3 shops and no one can figure out what to do. they've charged me for wheel bearings and suggested all new control arms. 40k miles.. you literally did the same test i did to make it squeak. thank you, I didn't even know WD40 made that!
Sorry you had to deal with a bunch of people that couldn’t fix your problem. Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the vid. Will try this on my tacoma. Just started making this noise at 150K miles. Mine are doing it from age, judging from the exterior of your truck, yours were probably so new they were squeaky clean! 😂
lol. Mine is a 2019 with about 60,000 miles. I sprayed them again about a month later and haven’t done it since. So it worked well for me. Thank you for watching.
This sounds like a squeak I have as well, will definitely get some lube and see how it goes, great video !
It worked great in my application. Applied it again about a month later and haven’t had any issues since then. Thanks for watching!
My Hummer just developed that creak after a camping (off road) trip. Walmart bound.
Did you get it fixed?
With the technology that we have today why haven’t they a better type of bushing that doesn’t squeak
Mine is doing h the same thing. Did you ever replace the bushings? Did the noise come back???
No, the noise has gone away. I applied it heavily the first time and had to do it again about a month later. The noise has not come back.
I tried everything nothing worked until I replaced the LOWER ball joint. It 100 percent sounds like rubber on rubber but it was not.
This was on my 7” lifted Chevy Silverado 2017
Had brand new bushings installed polyurethane, they squeak like crazy I bought the same stuff
Did it work for you also?
Doesn’t the upper control arm have a nipple for greese or is that just something else ?
The grease fittings are for ball joints on the control arms. A lot of the newer vehicles have sealed ball joints that can’t be greased
My 2006 4x4. Same noise
Sweet still no squeak?
Lasted a couple months and coated it a little more one time in certain areas and it has been good ever since.
Did that and still squeaks
Were you able to isolate exactly where the noise was coming from? Mine was coming from the rubber bushings making contact with the metal. I sprayed them pretty heavily and made sure it worked its way in…
P r o m o S M 🙂
Was the answer “don’t buy a Chrysler”? Jk. My ford has these squeaks too. Going in Thursday to have them fixed. Annoying!
Did you ever fix it? What was the issue
Able to access the upper control arm from the engine bay? What in the mickey mouse phuk
