I’ve been an off and on plant based / raw vegan and every time I fall off the wagon my fibromyalgia pain and chronic fatigue flare so bad. So I’m now getting what I call clean and sober once again. Hopefully soon I’ll be pain free again
The same thing happened to me. I had inflammation was so bad that at times I could barely bend my legs. After changing from a vegetarian to eating plant-based organic non-GMO, whole foods, high fiber, low fat, low protein. No sugar, flour, processed foods or alcohol and using filtered water. I also eat flax seeds, take melatonine and vitamin D3 as well as a multi-vitamin. I eat sprouted grain Ezekiel bread. Never going back. I also fast to reduce weight and decrease my risk of Endometrial Cancer recurrence. 7th Day Aventists have a 14% lower risk of cancer than the general population. I am eating this way for ethical reasons as well as eliminating co-morbidities. Both my Oncologists are impressed with my progess and dedication. The will to live is a strong motivator!😀
Meant to say the inflammation has miraculously disappeared, and I am far more comfortable.
I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of a bone spur to no avail. I went on a WFPB diet and within 2 days, it was completely gone. I was sold on it after that! Never had any aches or pains since.
Excellent
That's great to know. I have one in my heel that seems to be related to plantar fasciitis, which is very painful. I didn't think a WFPB diet could get rid of it.
I have bone spurs that have not gone away on a vegan diet - they still give me pain and I still wake up in pain everyday - and this is 5 years later. What did you do to do those?
@@karunamayiholisticinc I agree - how do you get rid of one in 2 days? It's bone!
@@extropiantranshuman It took the pain completely away. I know it's hard to believe that just by changing your diet that it helps, but it does. 👍Food as medicine
Natural healing thru food, awesome testimony!! Without the daily constant inflammation thru bad food the body can finally heal.
I had pretty much the exact same experience from 4 ibuprofen 3-4 times a day to waking up with joint pain and not being able to stand straight. I went on a vegan diet a year and a half ago and no more pain ever since unless I accidentally eat something that has animal product in it or cross contaminated food then I will experience some pain again for a half a day to a day
Me too! ❤️
Me three! 😄
Why something so simple is nothing known to everyone who suffers from chronic inflammation!?!
How long did it take you to see the results?
It took me a couple of weeks to start noticing a decrease in pain. Within a month my pain had diminished substantially. I do have issues with sunflower oil for some reason so I would still experience pain occasionally but through keeping a food diary I was able to pinpoint my occasional pain to foods with sunflower oil. I do best with a plant based diet
@@sonjacole6920 thank you for replying. Have you removed gluten and sugar as well?
My husband had the same experience when we increased our food to whole foods Anna removed the animal products...😎PAIN FREE
Excellent
How long did it take? It’s been about 3 weeeks and so far not great still.
Thank you for this. It seems that there is hope. I have been in constant, and often crippling, pain and have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on medical in the last decade and I am hugely overweight and still in serious trouble. Meg, blessings and may you have many, many, many more years of a joyous, pain free life.
Look up, Chef AJ I follow her plan and I have no inflammation even though I work out all the time I’m 73 and a bodybuilder. All that money is not going the right way. We need to just have you release some of your weight and you’ll find that life will be completely different.😁💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
There must be more than one way because getting rid of inflammatory foods did it for my pain. White potatoes, eggplant, tomatoes, and all peppers. If you are on a plant based diet and still have pain, you might try this.
OMG, I’m the same. As soon as I gave up meat, I noticed the pain went away after a few weeks.
@ Darlene P, when you said meat does it include chicken, turkey goat lamb etc please?

Powerful! Thanks for sharing these stories.
I’m into organic tofu and organic tempeh as my main source of protein and I enjoy them a lot.
Same here, had the famous "tennis" elbows for 15/20 years. They cured in a matter of weeks, no more inflammation.
Amazing thank you
My journey with tophaceous gout was similar. I was vegan for seven years, although my diet then had too much processed food in it. After seven years and in fact after my wife passed away I caved into peer group pressure and chicken, fish and cheese got back into my diet. It seemed to me back then when I got more gout attacks, in more joints than just my big toe and these lumps appeared in my fingers. I had no idea what these lumps were. I was diagnosed with tophaceous gout. I did use medication but I also changed to a whole food plant based diet. The tophi dissolved in less than two years and I now have no gout attacks. I am not on medication any more. I realise I have no proof that a change in diet caused the tophaceous gout or stopped it when I went WFPB but it seems more than coincidental.
@@karunamayiholisticinc try the vegan diet with intermittent fasting for on more year, that would be helpful.
What is meant by WFPB ?
The initials stand for Whole Food Plant Based. It basically means food that is not ultra processed and is of plant origin not animal products. Fresh fruit and vegetables, legumes and grains. I generally avoid the packaged section of the supermarket. For example I don’t have tinned soups, which are all ultra processed. I make it myself from onions, garlic, celery, other fresh vegetables and something like red lentils. That’s just an example of a simple soup. Frozen vegetables are fine. Look up ultra processed food. The definitions can be complex but it is as basic as a list of ingredients that you wouldn’t normally find in your kitchen.
@@AndrewMoore58 thank you very much for explaining. I understand now.
Can you make a video about collagen and alkaline water
Thanks for sharing!
Love ❤
I have been plant based going on 3 years and the first year and half was great but this last year has been the opposite- I’m struggling with protein, my body just will not get use to beans and legumes. I can only eat tofu if it is crumbled in tiny pieces, I tried seitan that I made myself and the bloating was awful. I know dairy is out but giving up meat when I really need to give up wheat is becoming too hard. I can’t seem to find a balance - I wish people would give us their process instead of the end result.
Possibly your gut microbiome changed? Did you take a course of antibiotics, start or end a new medicine, herb, supplement?
Might also be pancreatic under function, low stomach acid or bile?
A simple thing to try no Dr needed, is make sure all your grains and beans as well as your other food is organic. Grain and beans that are raised conventionally, are sometimes harvested by using Round Up in an off label process called Desiccation Harvesting. Which leaves Round Up on the crop, to mess with your microbiome. 😣
Here's to finding the answer soon! Best health to you! 🌱
I make a smoothie every day with a bunch of things that have protein: some vegan protein powder, various seeds like flax, chia and pumpkin, some nuts, nutritional yeast, soy milk, banana for some sweetness, and some oats. It's pretty good, and has 30g of protein in each one.
@@iwillriseagain1118 good tip, I also have a high protein smoothie in the AM, with vegan protein powder, the same seeds, lots of greens, you can also add spirulina and vegan collagen - my smoothie is about 40g of protein. I also battle with beans and legumes, but can tolerate chickpeas and hummus, avocados also contain a good amount of protein and I have at least one a day. There's also some protein pastas which dont contain grains you could try. Nutritional yeast also contains a high amount of protein and b12, i recommend using this daily.
It might be worth doing a York test to find out what food intolerances you have. Seamus Mullen (famous chef) reversed his severe Automat immune issues going plant based, but not fully. He still eats grass fed beef, fish and chicken etc, but 90% of his plate is still WFPB… everyone’s different. Personally, I’ve found a WFPB diet does wonders for me. It’s quite extraordinary tbh
How do I come off amitriptyline or replace from because I am getting bare inflammation I cant sleep besides I have brain health issues please

If I was in this situation I would contact True North Health Center in Santa Rosa California and request a FREE consultation with Dr. Alan Goldhammer. Their doctors can work with you via internet.

Krill oil
going vegan actually has made me get into even more pain - due to oils, gluten, and all the many neurotoxins in other plants - like soy. I wasn't vegan all my life, so I still have pains that just haven't gone away. I bought cholorophyll and hopefully it helps. I just have less pain avoiding animal products - as they contain too many neurotoxins to eat too. Still - just going vegan doesn't remove everyone's pain and may make it worse. I had more pain than ever when I first went vegan - as no one told me that the neurotoxins in plants was going to do that. They just said to go vegan and were angry at me for not being one at that time - which isn't fair - because people don't know the health conditions that someone may have. If people give a warning before going vegan instead of forcing and guilting - maybe there's be fewer painful conditions and situations when switching - as people can focus on avoiding those.
Many plants are for removing pain, but if no one tells you them - how would anyone know what they're getting into?! That's why this video helps.
Vegan is totally different than Plant-based. We use no oil at all, and that makes a tremendous difference. Only Fruits, veggies, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, and whole grains.
@@plantbasedgirl5854 yes it is. I want to do oil free, but it's in everything. Thanks for letting me know that I won't have pain when I go oil free. I think I do notice that when I am :)
@@extropiantranshuman I actually meant Plantar Fascitis, not bone spur! Sorry! It was so painful, so I was happy to have the pain gone!
@@plantbasedgirl5854 oh that's way different. I have actual bone spurs still in my body and have gotten surgery due to all the milk I drank. Thanks for clarifying anyway.
