    I had a mini stroke, while I was literally in line at McDonald’s drive-through. I had aphasia while trying to order. It was terrifying, my words came out as gibberish. Right then in there I realized What my diet was doing to me. I changed my lifestyle & diet. Daily walks & zero processed food or fast food. Love all my organic vegetables & fruits. There’s so many things you can make with them. And I always buy organic spices so there isn’t lead & harmful other metals in them.
    ✨Thank you for this important video I fully agree with everything Robyn said! 🥰

    Great interview! I am a huge fan of Dr. Brooke Goldner who takes healthy plant eating to the ultimate healthy level for those of us who are dealing with autoimmune issues. I love hearing Robyn's story of healing with hyper nourishing. It has also helped me immensely. It's a wonderful program that simply requires willingness and effort to step out of our unhealthy cultural dietary norms. Thank you, Chuck for having Robyn as a guest on your podcast.

      That's just one of 1000s of reasons to take optimal credit of your health b/c if you get sick the probability that you will just get worse in the hospital is very likely. I hate hospitals and am not real found of physicians & I am a nurse.

    Robin has done us a great favour promoting this diet for us. I have asthma and will try the smoothies with lots of greens and chia and flax seeds….leaving out almonds and other omega 6 things I may have added in the past. My brother has had chrones disease, but got rid of it using green smoothies, vegan diet, and he bought grounding sheets. This combo worked for him….his doctor said all his inflammation has gone 😮 Thank you Robin and Chuck

    I have always drank a gallon of water a day, it is so healthy. Especially when you covert to a Vegan body or Raw Vegan, your body really amps up detoxing and all that needs to be flushed out. Once I became a Veg Head close to 40 yrs ago and increased my water intake I never changed, it feels good and refreshing, it is what the body actually needs!

Her story gives me hope that my own health can improve after hard times.

    I was not only sent home twice after experiencing 2 strokes while living in Santa Fe, NM., A Neurologist gave me a anti-viral pill when I presented with a sloughed left side of my face. They finally gave me another MRI and said the stroke showed up according to the doctors. This all occurred during a second stroke about a year from the first. My PCP sent me to an Cardiac Electrophysiologist after I complained to him that the cardiologists at Presbyterian Medical Center were doing nothing to prevent further strokes. All this time I was on a plant based diet for the prior six years. The Electrophysiologist dignosed me with a very mild A-Fib. The strokes ended up being fairly mild except for some aphasia. Even after being place on a blood thinner I did have another stroke. I went to a different hospital and was placed on a higher dose of the blood thinner. After the last stroke I moved to a lower elevation in Tucson, AZ and the doctors in Tucson raised my blood thinner dose to 20mg. I have not had another stroke going on 3 years but I still have an apprehensive feeling. Having a stroke is a horrible feeling since it felt that my brain was being eaten a way bit by bit. I attribute the mild stroke results to being plant based.. Since that time I have asked the doctors to test me for LPa (my grandfater died of a stroke), and sleep apnea (even though I was symptom free. My LPa was mildly elevated and I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. No treatment as yet for LPa except apheresis which is not offered in Tucson, and am now on a C-Pap machine at night, I hope Robyn gets tested for LPa also and does not settle that all is ok, although I certainly hope she doesn't have another stroke. Elevated LPa is not impacted by diet. There is still so much that is unknown where strokes are concerned but I will not change from my Whole foods diet because I am the healthiest I've ever been! At least according to all my labs.

    I hope Chuck that you touch on this topic on a future episode; of course you dont need to eat raw to reverse autoimmune diseases. Its a crime to miss the beans and grains. It upsets me the message of a 'raw guru'. I was part of the facebook 'friend' group of Brooke Goldner for a couple of months , and it is shocking to see being steered to give up 2 of the most essential plant gropus...When I raised these points, I was removed from the group, and blocked. By the way, I shared there lost of links to many of the episodes from the Physicians Committee. We know WFPB is the way to go, not because a person says is, but because science backs it up. Thats the difference @ PCRM- science based!

    • @topsi555
      @topsi555 21 день тому

      I eat beans and grains, never said I didn’t, I eat raw vegan until 4pm and you can even make a lot of raw dishes like raw hummus etc - her rapid recovery program is for full optimal reversal as quick as possible - I talk about omega 6 because people need to understand if they over overdo omega 6 then the omega 3 doesn’t count- start to research how much omega 3 is in foods compared to omega 6- she has healed so many including myself and I have blood evidence - with doctors following me as I did the program -science enough for me-

    Companies still have the number-one goal of making more money quarter over quarter. Cheaper ingredients and more chemicals are being used to achieve this. So people don’t realize - the food is getting worse. The victims of these types of diseases will keep getting younger. I think we’re looking at the beginnings of a mass-extinction here in a few generations. Insane.
