I'm not gon lie in my last relationship I did that, I def feel ashamed and am getting professional help since the breakup to get myself right. A story: I met a well dressed man of 48 recently. I was really looking forward to getting to know him based on approach and initial convo in person. Contact has been slow so I reached out to say hey and he remarked that if I was the type of woman looking for a man to constantly be in Touch I will never get that but he was in the middle of a 2year drought and maybe I could help him out with that.

I'm not gon lie in my last relationship I did that, I def feel ashamed and am getting professional help since the breakup to get myself right. I didn't want her to feel pressured so I was like...well, lemme satisfy my selfish needs elsewhere. But someone eventually told her and she was of course pissed. So things went the way they did and I'm so mad I screwed up the relationship even tho we were incompatible in multiple other ways. It just tugs at my heartstrings that I had these deep-seated mental issues and I hurt her. I take full responsibility for these issues and am trying to fix these before I get back into dating

Right. The reason for abstaining from sex is to practice and master self control. If a man waits with you, but is getting it from somewhere else, he is not practicing self control and will more than likely cheat in the future.
