The behind the scenes only makes me appreciate the tongue twisting lines neil patrick harris delivered all through out the nine seasons of the show. God I miss this show
This was surprisingly one of the most informative behind-the-scenes videos I've seen. You actually see the whole process of making a single episode. I wish they'd do this for all the episodes or go all the way back to the birth of the script.
Not the whole process. There is a lot of process before shooting the episode aswell like writing the script or finding the whole cast & crew. And even after shooting the episode there is a lot of post-production like editing the episode or especially in this one there were also some special effects. There is SO much work behind this and I love it!
Saying "This is the greatest show of all time" doesn't even begin to describe this show. I watched it so many time, over and over but I never get tired of it, the actors are fantastic, every one of them, even the secondary characters like ranjiit, or marshall's father are awesome and I don't even know what else to say, just thank you for all the laughters.

The no.1 show of all time. There's no other series that would replace HIMYM for me. It's been almost a decade and I'm still watching it. It never gets old 😂
+GlacialRuin Well after rewatching this show after the finale (a year later) I must say the ending is not as bad. I think the execusion is bad however, Robin and Barney break up and the mother dying is thot so horrible as some may say. But they draged the wedding for too long and borke them up to fast. They should have showed them all be happy for 1 or 2 episodes before brealing them up. And 1 episode later (last one) the mother dies. Cause in the the end it all makes sence. Ted explains more of why Robin means so much to him, than things about his kids mother. He tells the story beacuse the mother have by then been dead for a while, so he do not want to miss out any detail but at the same time talk about his feelings for Robin.
51TGM71 I realize that, didn't they say she died like 6 years ago at the end there? Still, while watching this show through the years I was hoping and hoping that he'd just meet the mother which he obviously did but I wanted it to end there with him living happily until their deaths around the same time not him living on with his kids then going off with Robin at the end of the whole damn thing. That's why I hate the damn ending it doesn't matter how brilliantly planned the show was, by the time Ted was broken for the probably fifth time I was done with seeing a broken up idiot even though Ted's a fictional character
maaan i miss these times sometimes, i kinda feel times changed but at the end nothing actually realy changed which makes me happy especially when i watch how i met your mother (i am 22 yrs old studying urban planning in Weimar, Germany.)
I think acting is fun no matter where in the set we are :) I work with some lovely people, and the enviorment between the crew and actors are just amazing :)
Jason Segal and Alyson Hannigan are such good actors/actresses. I know they aren't together but even here you could fool me. They look so natural together.
enrique is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so cute when he laghes neal Patrick Harris did an incredible job remembering all those lines love this show
I genuinely wonder how the people are doing who commented like 10 years ago and something like- ps : newly born HIMYM fan ( just finished the last season last week and I can't get over it)
neil has the longest, most difficult lines, words, statements, bro dialogue ever, n he pulls it off brilliantly!!!
Its not a dialogue its a brologue
I hope they pay him well
@@itsofficial.Heisenberg he deserved everything he earns
@@itsofficial.Heisenberg he actually got paid almost double what the others got. 120k per episode Vs 210k per episode I think
He does have the most acting experience.
It's so weird seeing Neil without a suit
i was looking for this comment : D
this is exactly what i was feeling
I was going to write the same thing
I know right
I thought I was a only one feel like that...I remember in couple of episodes his wasn't wearing suit... I was like dude suit up
He looks sexier without a suit
The behind the scenes only makes me appreciate the tongue twisting lines neil patrick harris delivered all through out the nine seasons of the show. God I miss this show

Is it me or the toughest lines are the Barney's ones

That is why he had the highest salary
Goes to show how professional of an actor he was

Harsh Dhakad AGREEEEE
Cobie is flawless. God, she's gorgeous!
Back of the line, please 👉🏽
Working on a sitcom looks like soooooo much fun!!
"Trust noone. Not even Ted... Especially not Ted" :D
"you suck, marshall! You totally suck!"
Man, that episode was gold
Has anyone realised at the end that in real life Cobie also says 'um'?
She said "and um", while in the show, Robin said "but um".
My Canadian boyfriend ALWAYS says "but um"
Watching this in 2015. God I miss this show!!! :')
+finishers29 I still watch HIMYM everyday!
+finishers29 its on Netflix :)
+enJoy I have the whole series on my hard disk!😊
+finishers29 awesome!
LOL Same!!!
Man i just realized how could everybody remember those long scripts. That must have taken a long effort
4:23 Sure, Ted. Tell that to Stella
that was the joke and referance
NPH should always be in a suit.
Agreed!

Matthew Randell OMG! Thank you!!!
Jason's reading was incredible !
Can you imagine 9 years of this?
Omg they had so much fun!
Neil should definitely be paid the highest coz his acting requires the highest level of skill
he was paid the highest
The no.1 show of all time. There's no other series that would replace HIMYM for me. It's been almost a decade and I'm still watching it.

The song at the end is The Solids - Hey beautiful in case anyone was wondering
thanks a lot!!
I thought it was Darude - Sandstorm
RinkOuTime u read my thoughts,, thank you!!
they did the intro as well
5:30 But Um! Everyone take a shot
She said "and um"

After seeing this I understand why everyone appreciated Pam Fryman as she actually creates and keeps the environment on the set..
Wow! Robin's make-up artist is their ACTUAL make-up artist! I'm glad I caught that!
NPH did a great job as Barney :( And I miss this show
The amount of work they put in every episode. Respect.
That's really cool, I love seeing Behind the Scenes things! It's weird seeing how much work they do, I didn't know there was so much going on.
Every time I see stuff like this, I want to rewatch HIMYM, but then I remember the last episode/last 2 episodes and I go nahhh

+GlacialRuin Watch the alternate ending if you haven't already. I recommend it to those who don't care for the aired ending. No spoilers, don't worry!
Fred Weasley I already saw it, it's stupid
This link explains my thoughts more clearly about it
wait never mind that was stupid
Exactly the last two episodes you wanna hate it but it's so emotional knowing its ending
Its so weird to see Neil in normale clothes, I’m always see him in Suits even when I not watching how I met your mother 😅
Neil looks good at everything. What a man lol
It takes So much effort just to produce one single 24 min episode #respect
Watching this 2021 and still cant get over that show
Cobie Smulders is the most beautiful woman in the world
Yes!
Ya, okay bro.
yes i have to say it!
Eliana Castillo Zárate i know right?
Murtaza Nanabhai but she shouldn't have been the one Ted ends up with
Alysson Hannigan looks even hotter behind the scenes
Love the actors and the sets!

That was really interesting! It looks such a lot of hard work to make.
they really look like theyre having fun in this hahah
Really miss what this show used to be :(
Wow this makes me appreciate them even more I think a lot of people forget how much work goes into these shows ❤️ amazing cast and show truly
maaan i miss these times sometimes, i kinda feel times changed but at the end nothing actually realy changed which makes me happy especially when i watch how i met your mother (i am 22 yrs old studying urban planning in Weimar, Germany.)
i can just watch behind the scenes of HIMYM all day. There should be more please.
Man, these bloopers are a true vibe!!!
Its amazing how much effort they're putting for just a short scene in the film industrie
I wish to have a friend like barney damn! This guy is awesome!
This show is bae..
I love how they have "Hey Beautiful" playing in the background for that last segment 😍
NPH is the king of the world.
Exactly
Everything about this show was spot on. The characters, story, humor and cast was legendary.
one of the best shows of all time :')
Can you imagine memorizing barneys lines! Almost like a toung twister
"specially not Ted" always gets me on the floor hahaha
First of all, why did I got this recommended 7 years late.
Second, I know the song from the beginning but I can't seem to remember the title ?
Hey beautiful, that's the theme of the show
I love how i met your mother. Such a great show. Its become a comfortinv show for me like friends and big bang
2021 and I still miss HIMYM :(
This show is the best there's nothing like it
LOL, i imagined that Neil was the one who talked the most, counting all the times he has to rehearse and his lines are so long! XD
I love this and especially ted's pretty much new york scene
HIMYM and That 70's Show are the two most underrated yet greatest sitcoms of all time.
WE'RE GONNA GET LAID JIMMY!
the only good thing about new jersey is that Peter Dinklage is from there.
Why exactly do people hate New Jersey?
Go watch Jersey Shore and you'll know
And bon jovi
Yeah kids, is 2021 and i still miss himym
I just have to laugh at the dude who's taking a break at Robin's bed.
I miss this sitcom
I think acting is fun no matter where in the set we are :)

This behind the scenes is already better than HIMYF

hands down the best serie of all time

Pamela: CUT PLAYING!
Barney: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Okayyyy, it's time to rewatch the show for the zillontth time😭😭
How I met your father brought me here, this cast had insane chemistry. HIMYF is like watching cardboard cutouts learning how to read lines
I can watch the series every day
Most people think neil has the most difficult lines but is not that difficult because he plays himself
Thanks, i've been looking for this song for a while
At first I thought the thumbnail was a double for robin & lily. Like they don't even look a like
But then with context
So glad for this!
Watching those behind scenes I'm thinking 'What a huge work'!
The crew and stuff hear those lines so often and still they laugh out loud. Wtf i wish i would be entertained that easily
Neil's lines are the hardest's. He is the best
5:21 "but amm..."
