My absolute favorite episode is when Ted, Marshall and Lily go to that concert and Ted and Marshall get super high and they walk around the venue for what they thought was the whole show and they kept thinking the bathroom line was the nacho line but then Lily comes out and she’s like “it’s been 2 minutes” and they show was what really happened. Kills me every time My second favorite episode is in the 9th season when Marshall was explaining the second to last slap and how he wanted to learn how to slap really hard, fast and accurately. And Teds master persona was funny af.

I remember in 2005, I was 16, just finished my final year at school and we had a 7 week holiday. I had this old tv- with an Ariel that needed to be placed at the right angle just to only get Channel 1 and 2. It was like 1:30am in the UK, and I stumbled across this show on channel 2- and I thought ok I’ll watch it. At the time, I didn’t have a TV guide or teletext on my tv- so never knew when this show would appear. But randomly I’ll turn my tv on at 1:30 some nights and it would be on. Made me feel like there’s so much more to the world and anything can happen- especially with all the fun they had in NY in season 1. I never really saw season 2 after... and that show always played on my mind- as no one else knew about it...Flash forward- 4 years. I’m at uni, I have a girlfriend now and I’m staying over her house. She’s gone work- and I watch series on her laptop- and I find this show and I’m like OMG! It’s that show I watched in 2005... and wait... there’s more seasons!! I remember watching episode after episode sitting in her bed. Loving every minute. The show made me feel humble, made me think there’s so much to life and to just live for every moment and adventure. The greatest show of all... wait for it...time!
That airport scene is definitely one of my favourite scenes on television! I think my fave episode is the 3 minute date with Stella. Hands down the best date-scene on television. Every time I watch it I feel sad they didn't end up together even though they would never have worked out even if her ex hadn't come to the wedding.
one of my favorite moments is when barney wants to sell his apartment and he has his head flying in the middle of the room like in the fortress of solitude, then Ted goes into the room where barney actually is, and barney said 'omg Ted can you just once be cool' over and over again

I think one of my favorite epsidodes is the one where they are driving in this limousine through New York City go get to the 5 parties, idk it has such a good, fun and in the last part romantic atmosphere. You can see how good the relationships between the friends are and I always dream that things like this will happen to me and my future friends (when I find REALLY friends, not these toxic people, I think I have one REAL best friend and some good friends, the rest don’t really care about me yeah)
Oh man, the Karate Slap episode (season 09 E14) is the funniest! I mean, I had a few laughs at several episodes, but the 3 masters thing OMG! I laughed so hard when Ted answered how old he was.

This should be the ending: 1. Ted and Tracy lives on and having a wonderful family. 2. Barney and Robin changed and realized about family and they will have a baby and that will permanently changed their views about relationship and family. 3. Lily and Marshal still in love with each other 4. Last scene should be their final time together at the bar with their partners sharing the beauty of family and friendship and they will have a final toast and get drunk until 10 pm only because they already have a different life and every big events they still get together. This should be the ending. Character development + Life lessons + Happy Ending. Just like the ending of Big Bang Theory
Seasons 1 and 4 are the best. "the possimpible" and "Something new" (season 8 finale is epic!) are the best episodes. I must recall that season 6 might not be the funniest, but it is the most touching of all. Feels everywhere!

My favorite episode was when ted was alone at the bar staring at robots vs wrestlers tickets then told his kids that he would no doubt rather get all those extra 45 days to be with tracy if he could. Even though it meant that tracy was no longer with them during the time he was telling the story, that scene will always be my favorite. It hit me hard

My fav episode is in season 9 when the the gang at Barney's & Robin's wedding hotel when Marshall is still on the way and he accidentially send voice mail to lily saying that marshall will move or take another job outside nyc (i forgot lol) and Marshall ask the gang for delet that voice mail in Lily's phone. That was so funny!! Lol

The only thing wrong with this show is how Ted and Barney kept passing Robin back and forth to each other. Showing Robin as a tramp. I mean that was nasty. No parent wants their child to see something like that on TV, and alot of parents and other people don't either. Can't they have a family show without all that slutness. Rather than that, how I met your mother was Ok

This should be the ending:
1. Ted and Tracy lives on and having a wonderful family.
2. Barney and Robin changed and realized about family and they will have a baby and that will permanently changed their views about relationship and family.
3. Lily and Marshal still in love with each other
4. Last scene should be their final time together at the bar with their partners sharing the beauty of family and friendship and they will have a final toast and get drunk until 10 pm only because they already have a different life and every big events they still get together. This should be the ending. Character development + Life lessons + Happy Ending. Just like the ending of Big Bang Theory
Clapsgiving episode’s are awesome
Seasons 1 and 4 are the best. "the possimpible" and "Something new" (season 8 finale is epic!) are the best episodes. I must recall that season 6 might not be the funniest, but it is the most touching of all. Feels everywhere!
