hey guys... Im having a weird problem. Apparently my macbook pro doesnt detect my yamaha dtx700 via USB. Am trying to record using Logic Pro.
Can somebody tell me what's wrong?

    Hello Nevada music,
Thanks for this Demo . Could you share which USB to Host MIDI interface you used ?

One thing that's always puzzled me is how would you record a double kick pattern with a kit like this?

my macbook pro dont record any midi sounds, using dtx400k , and logic pro X and Garageband.. it says that it have midi signal, but there is no indication when i press any pads... my usb synths are working solid though. what could be wrong?

when creating a new track are you doing an instrument track/midi, or audio track?

audio track, cause the macbook wont reconice the midi

Well you can go usb and go that route; you just wont be able to use the onboard sounds and features of the kit. As for your audio/midi Im sure you have a interface to work with but if so it should work if the interface is set up properly. Sometime its just an I/O mix up.
